I love my Esterbrook Model "J" with the 1.1 stub nib. It is beautiful and great to have a modern Ebonite pen. I had to put a little bit of tissue paper in the barrel to stop the converter rattling against it. And I would like the cap to post deeper, since the pen is quite small unposted but awkwardly long when posted. Overall it is a great pen, and I am happily using it outside when journaling.
@@VladimirRobespierre Hi, the grip is fine. I was able to meet Esterbrook at a pen show and told them of the rattling. They gave me a replacement converter and the rattling went away.
To be honest I think I rather invest my money in Eboya, especially as I can get them a tad cheaper with a gold nib. I honestly think it's quite a pricy proposition for a material that is very cheap and not that difficult to turn. Still., I like the trim on the pen and I know Esterbrook has great customer service so, maybe that helps offset the price.
I enjoy my Estie a lot. I haven't tried the Model J. I think the Estie fits my hand very well.

Thank you, the rattling drives me crazy.
How is the grippiness of grip section? Does it absorb the sweat from fingers?

Next, can you review the Parker Vector? I heard it is a good pen and I would like to look into it more.
