Can the HYD fluid be transfer from one reservoir to another? No, PTU acts only on the pressure not on the fluids.

thankyou for this helpful information. i have a question about RAT, there are 2 guarded RAT Man Push Button on the overhead panel ( on the emer elec pwr section and on the hydraulic section ) can you explain whats the difference between these two guarded push button?
Good question Luke. Basically the RAT powers the BLUE Hydraulics which drives the emergency generator. Either pushbutton on the panel will deploy the RAT. It is just that if you press the pushbutton on the EMER ELEC PWR panel, the RAT deploys via solenoid 1, the HYD panel RAT pushbutton will activate solenoid 2. As with most aircraft redundancies, we always have 2 loops (example Engine Fire Loop A and Loop B). Hope this answers your question.
