You happen to place technology, smoothness, refinement ahead of image and self imposed group pressure. You ride what you ride. Honda’s target market with the new 18+ Gen Gold Wings are the young bloods. You done real good with your selection of upgrades. The bike is really coming together for your particular requirements. Two Brothers Racing from Wingstuff is another quality exhaust. Remus exhaust is another. There are videos out in both. Ride safe and ride often. Peace

Good video. Got good news. Was finally able to get Debbie (my trike) out Tuesday. Started her up and took her for a quick 1/2 mile ride. It was nippy but felt great. Not just need this west Michigan weather to warm up and dry out so I can put some real miles on her.

Dang Big Smitty! That list of ailments you Gold Wang riders are enduring is so so...I just can't find the words. I do think you need a lift configured on the back of your Wang to carry a jazzy scooter on, so when you reach your destination you can ride that jazzy on in :) Your bike looks damn good! Looks way better than the old Wings of yesteryear. Great video and as always, Ride and stay safe down there in Big Texas!

Big Smitty, The Exhaust sure beats drilling three or four holes at the end of the exhaust baffle to get more sound for the motorcycle. The seat and grab rails look great. Hopefully it’s as comfortable as you want it to be. Love that battleship Grey colour you GoldWing is.

That exhaust really sounded good. I bought a new saddlemen seat for my Goldwing my wife and me never like that seat. Then sometimes later I found a used Corbin seat for $200 we love that seat. Ride safe.
Corbin absolutely makes great seats! Had one on my Valkyrie and it was worth every penny! I love that exhaust and I hope he gets them into production! Thanks for watching!
I did the Wing Soft seat upgrade 3 years ago. It's better than stock but still sucks. The older GL1500 and GL1800 bikes had a far better saddle seat stock from Honda that the 2018+ version
I fully agree with you. WingSoft is better than stock for sure and the older Wing seats were really good. Saddleman makes a great seat for sure. Other seats are more expensive like Russel Day Long, but I hear they are worth it. Thanks for watching and for the comment!

Reworking the seat if you need to is great, Mine fits me just the way I like it.. As for the E G G pipes. Look great 6into6 is really cool , and the sound is fantastic. Would I do it know I like mine nice and quiet..
There’s plenty of people who love the stock seat. It just hurt my ass and back way too much. My buddy loves the stock pipes as well. He says he won’t change them. I love the EGG and I hope I can get my hands on one! Thank you very much for watching!

Big fella.. must look into getting the seat done here in Oz. That exhaust might be a bit noisy at cruising speed mate nothing worse than a drone noise on a long ride. Still Thinking you should check out getting the original pipes modified a straight through baffle and glass the sound to suit. Keeps the original look as well.

I had a 2019 Wing that I shipped the day after I came home w the bike to Wingsoft, so other than the ride home I never experienced the stock seat. I did this cause of all the complaints I’d read, heard about. Did not like the seat at all. I had erodible back pain after 2/3 hrs of riding. It took me a while to figure out why. The seat didn’t have enough padding at the edges, while the center was beefed up. I thought that sent shocks right up my spine. I traded & have a 22 Wing. I’ve ridden the 2/3 hrs w no discomfort on the stock seat. Weight, ass size play a role, but d never buy another seat unless the edges were built up like the pre 18 Wing. I had an 07 that I’ve ridden 5/6 hrs straight w no back issues..
That’s good to know! I’ve been told the older style seats are much better than the newer models. The Russel Day Long is built like the older generation seats. Might be why people love it so much. I hated the WingSoft seat. It was good at first but after a while it just flat out hurt my ass.

@@BigSmittyRiding Older style seats were night & day better than current seat. Russell DL is very similar to the older seat. If I ever have to get a new seat RDL is top of my list.
I just bought a Saddleman that I really like. I’ve done a couple of 3 hour trips on it and so far so good! But if this doesn’t work then RDL is the next option.

EGG sounds great but I’m not sure if they’re going into production. I ordered the TBR and I’m about to install them. I’ll do a review as soon as I get them on.

On a Goldwing straight piles sound pretty good but still like a sports car not like a V-Twin. But the VTX sounds amazing with straight pipes! WingSoft seat is great! Thanks for watching!

I bought my Wing with an Ultimate Seat.... Its okay, but the edges cut into the back of my legs after awhile and I'm a bigger guy, I'd like to sit a little farther back in the pocket. Problem is my wife is super comfortable on the back, she LOVES riding on this bike, so I don't want to do anything to mess with that. I am considering finding out if any of the "seat upholsterers" would rework my drivers area of the Ultimate Seat.
After 10years of riding and touring with growl and howl of the Victory's exhaust both of us appreciate the Wing's subdued voice...I will not be changing that out...

@@BigSmittyRiding .. The Ultimate is a good seat... But being a Goldwing rider now I get to be old, crotchety and picky 🤣 so I'd like to mke some "adjustments" to the seat.
Exhaust sounded better than quiet but you honestly need a cam. I would fall asleep on those bikes
As a Saddlemen fan, I wonder why more GW owners don't turn to them. Their gel tech is amazing and they do make some styles for GW. That said, I like what you did with your seat and that E.G.G. exhaust looks and sounds promising! ✌🤘
So Saddleman does make great seats. I’ve seen them for the Goldwing but have never used them on Hondas only in my Harleys. I’ve always used Corbin but I’ll have to check Saddleman out for future reference. Thanks for the input and for watching!
@@BigSmittyRiding Yea, bro. You've got a great channel - keep it up! Stumbled upon you last week and immediately subscribed because you're not the typical know-it-all YT'er and you keep it real. I own a '21 Street Bob and am really torn between adding a GW or a Road King Special later this year. If I go GW, it HAS TO BE MANUAL, and surprise - you can't find them anywhere to test ride. Ugh, IDGAF about the DCT. I owned the Rebel 1100 DCT for three months and sold it after 1300 miles because I couldn't connect with it (there's just something about shifting, ya know?). I did sit on a GW DCT at the dealership and knew right away I'd have to change the seat. With stock, I immediately felt like I was sitting on the bike as opposed to in it. From the looks of the Saddlemen "Road Sofa," I'm guessing that'd fix the issue.
Man I hate the DCT. I’m not a fan. I believe the manual clutch is the absolute way to go for anyone. That’s a tough choice… The Road King is s great bike and is flat out iconic. The Wing is futuristic and is comfortable and reliable. I had an 09 Street Bob myself and I really enjoyed it. They let me test ride my bike but I had put a deposit down first… which sucks but at least I knew what I was getting into. Good luck and I appreciate the kind words and you watching this shit show!

My Harley’s seat sucks! I sent it off and had it modified so I could ride longer than 30 minutes.. Plus I put a gel pad on top of the drivers seat…now I can ride all day in comfort. Harley Heritage.
