This is the problem I have, except horn is working and my Instrument Cluster is displaying some information MyBIG PROBLEM IS FINDING A GOOD SHOP TO DIAGNOSE AND FIX IT
Thanks so much for the video, it was very informative. May I suggest in the future no music in the background, I have a minor learning disability and the music is very distracting when trying to learn. Thanks again.
Realize this was a tear ago but you should have used the scan tool to verify the ECU was not getting data when buttons on steering wheel get depressed. Very simple test to verify clock spring continuity. Thanks for the video.
The controls on the right side only work when I turn the wheel, the left side works great Is it that yellow part the the problem or are the buttons the problem???
I have a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Base and the menu bottoms only on the steering wheel are not working, every other bottoms are still working. Do I need to replace the clock spring?
@Jacob Velasco No, I have not gotten the answer. The only bottoms not working are for the vehicle menu. The other ones, like the cruise control bottoms, the audio control bottoms, and the phone control bottoms on the steering wheel, are fully functional.
Thanks for the video. This is exactly the problem I’ve got on my hands. I appreciate the information!

I got a 2011 Chevy equinox and it's doing the same thing how I take it off
Thank you, I learned something new.❤
Mine worked intermittently! My horn always works though!
Makes sense why they call it a clock spring.
That engine will blow up soon…
Good video what's up with the music
Very informative ❤

Is it that yellow part the the problem or are the buttons the problem???
I could possibly be just the buttons especially if horn and everything else on steering wheel works.
@@Columbiaauto If everything else works fine, the problem is the buttons on the left side, they only work when I turn the wheel halfway
My santafe menu buttons are not working only, so what to do@@Columbiaauto
Now I’d like to see how you got it out. Please

Interesting it’s similar to me my buttons on left side don’t work as in media and call and the right side cruise control and menu buttons works
Wondering if you found a solution or repair cost as I have the same issue…
No solutions yet? Seems to be weat and tear or dirty sockets, any updates?@@jacobcvelasco
