    To be discriminated on both sides of your race is horric. She already had abandonment issues. Poor baby just wanted to belong. And she did just that. The first and best original Cat women and confidence like no other. I respect her so much because when she had her daughter she gave her everything she didn't have as a child. Unconditional love, guidance, and most importantly belonging to a family. I will follow your path by not letting the fear and rejection get the best of me! Rest Well Eartha!

    Eartha was a beautiful soul, she should have been treated with more respect in this country on all sides.
    Eartha I wish I could have met you to show you how much you were love as a great talent, activist (who stood up for Black kids and all kids like myself) and teacher. R.I.P ❤️

    It makes me so angry that she was treated so horribly just because of the color of her skin! She didn't deserve it.

  • @katiejo6066
    @katiejo6066 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    She didn’t have a childhood. She was forced to grow up quicker than everybody else. That’s jus the way it was back then🤷‍♀️

    "God helps those..." May sound nice but it's a false doctrine. God helps us because we can't help ourselves.

    • @masterblaster9522

      That's why you will always be a slave !!!

      Your premise sounds more flawed to me personally but it is my opinion. If god helped everyone bc they can't help themselves then everyone would be doing great and actually be decent people, but they are not all decent bc we all have free will and the inherent capability of bettering ourselves our communities and our world. I personally feel she got it right, although I believe consciousness to be god. And consciousness only helps you when you help yourself!
