Phasing is the process of aligning the universal joint yokes on both ends of the drive shaft (or double u-joint)in a parallel fashion. If the joints are not properly phased, they will operate at varying speeds throughout each revolution which can cause second-order vibrations

Late to the party here from across the pond. You said the phasing is "only a little thing", but it really does affect the small trucks too! I have an FTX Outback 3 mini (RGT outside of Europe). That little 1/24 scale Defender was shaking about until I learned about phasing driveshafts! Happy RC'ing sir!

Thanks!! It is amazing that a condition so common to full size transfers over to tiny trucks!! Good to know how much full size tech is showing up nowadays!!

Thank you very much Gerry. That was a the exact answer I was looking for when I asked. I had seen a couple 1:1 examples but this summed it up perfectly for tiny trucks.
I actually think you may have just solved a problem with my little JJRC Q65 project. Can't wait to get to the workbench to check it.
"Grubnut". That would be a perfect name for a rig or for a trail in the EXOPLEX. LOL
Thanks again buddy for taking the time to answer my question.
    Stay safe and stay tiny.
    Steve
