    Thank you for this video! I haven't used my treadmill for 2 years but it's practically new. I was going to pay someone over $200 to plug in a wire that came loose. Thanks so much!!!!

    Thank you for your informative video. I was lucky to solve the problem off my Keys Fitness 6600T, sharing in case it will help others. Treadmill powers ON, I can successfully set the program, the magnet key works fine. Here are the 2 issue symptoms: the incline was not functioning and when I hit Start, the treadmill shuts OFF. Did not find anything obvious. Pushed all wires and connectors in place on the control board, this did not help. I opened the console, and after pushing all connectors in place on the console board, then the treadmill started to work and my problem was solved. All the best.

    Hoping to get some help with my issue. Got a NordicTrack T5.3 a few weeks back and everything seems to be working fine expect for the walking belt. Console lights and buttons work as expected, incline commands work fine, however when I select a speed command the belt does not turn. When I walk under my own power, the speed at which I’m walking appears on the console. I watched your LED blinking video and my controller shows a solid light with no blinking. I’ve also checked that the walking belt is not too tight. I figure the issue lies somewhere with either the blue wires going to the motor or the motor itself. Is there a way to check where the problem is without guessing and replacing the wrong item?

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      if the red light on the controller is not blinking when you start the belt but the console is counting time like the workout is running then that usually means the speed signal is not being received by the controller from there console. I would pay extra close attention to the upright wire and make sure that the blue wire (it carries the speed control command to the controller) is not pinched, broken, loose, damaged, or disconnected.

    Hi - We had to move our treadmill, and during the process, the console connector to the motor control board was pulled loose. In the process, two of the exposed pins on the controller board got bent. Is there a way to repair these or do I have to search for a replacement 10-year-old controller board?
    Any help and/or instructions you can give me will be much appreciated.

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      With the unit unplugged, you can try to straighten the pins. As long as the connection to the circuit board is still intact it should still work. if the pins have completely broken, then the board will most likely need to be replaced.

    What's the wire with the spring with the metal thing that connects to the motor

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you are referring to the motor brush wire. there are 2 wires (Red and Black) that are going from the lower control board into the motor. The spring pushes the carbon brush so it makes contact with the commutator (the part in the motor that rotates). They are held in place with retaining caps on the motor. The wires and brushes come with the replacement motor.

      I do not have access to that information. The manufacturer has decided to service its products at the part level not down to the component level within the electronic parts.

      @@goodelectronics4170 I'm sure it can be repaired but I don't have access to that type of information. The manufacturer suggested course of action would be to replace the console with a new replacement console.

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Typically the component with the damaged connector should be replaced. The video shows where the console connects to the upright wire harness at 2:47. You would either need a console or wire harness or both depending on what part is actually damaged. Parts are available at www.iconservice.com

    So My golds gym 410 looks exactly like this down there. I bought it used and made sure it worked before I brought it home. Once here it didn’t turn on at all. I opened the panel and found a wire that had came off. I plugged it back in and now the display works but the belt doesn’t run and no incline either. The light on the mother board is completely off. I checked that there are no other loose wires. What could it be?

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The red light on the controller (lower circuit board by the drive motor) should be lit solid when the console is on and start blinking when the belt is started. If the light is not on the controller when the console is lit then there is something wrong with the controller. That would explain the belt not running.

    hi a very good video! i have a problem, in my treadmill appears low voltage detected in the console and in the operational manual say that The motor thermal wires are
    disconnected, broken, or become loose, but i dont know if the problem is in the motor controller board or in the internals wires of the motor, what can i check then? can you help me??? thanks the wires see good out of the motor :(

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. what is your model #. If this is an iFit unit then you would not have any power to the equipment if the thermal switch was tripped or the wires from the thermal switch are disconnected. It would be just like if the power switch was cut off. the controller provides the power to the console. If the controller has voltage bit is not sending it to the console then it would seem the controller is faulty.

    I have a Nordictrack C2150 and have replaced the driver motor and the motor control board. The belt seems to surge a little bit and the motor controller board's red LED is blinking rapidly. Could it be surging due to lack of lubrication?

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      lubrication is what helps reduce friction between the belt and the board and usually is not a factor if there is no one actually standing on the belt. Try it while standing on the side rails to confirm that it is not a friction issue. I would verify exactly what le led is doing. Typically if the motor runs for a second, "surges", then stops it is an issue with the controller. The controller usually throws an error code like 4 LED blinks and pauses.

    I have a AFG Pro 7.2 the data cable going to the console was severed. I replaced the cable and now the console has power and everything works on the console but the elevation motor and belt motor won't work. i have a solid red led and two solid green leds on the control board. Any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks!

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will preface this with a disclaimer that our company does not manufactur AFG products, and that I have no personal experience with the repair of those models. It seems to me however, that if the console appears to be operating and the cable is known to be good then I would suspect the lower board. It may be helpful to consult with AFG they may be able to supply you a voltage diagram or at least be able to explain what the LED Lights on the control board mean.

    I have a NordicTrack X7I incline model #: NTL20909.3 - while using it the other day it went off an on several times while raising up and down then went off. Now when I turn it on the ifit screen will come on for a second then go back off and nothing else happens. It's like it went back off again... any suggestions?

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the screen powers on and loads to the main menu but then goes out then it would typically indicate that the safety key is not on the machine. I am going to guess that this does not describe your situation exactly however. The original console for this unit has a separate power supply for the console tablet display. If the display tablet is powering down it may be due to a bad power supply for the console. I would try that first.

    Hi I have a Proform 545s and it was working good, I did an incline and put the incline back down a little and walked almost a mile. When I started to get off, I pressed the stop button....nothing happened. I had to pull the magnet to get it to stop. None of the buttons work now but the incline button. Can you help me with this?

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So when the key is inserted the display looks normal bit the incline buttons are the only buttons that respond, or does the console act like the start button has been pressed when you hit the start button (starts counting time) but the belt never turns on? Or is something else happening? In the first case you may have an issue with the console.

    • @cjj3102000
      @cjj3102000 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      When I insert the key its all looks normal but the incline button is the only one that works. The timer and all the other digital numbers stays on 0 (but the pulse rate it checks my pulse and goes up!!!) So do I order a new console? The entire thing? The fan wont work either.

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The displays and buttons usually are serviced as a single replaceable unit. That is the part you may need if there is no button response. Unfortunately parts for that unit may be difficult to find due to the age of the model.

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp

      there motor controller has a led light that should be blinking when sending power over to the drive motor. It will also flash error codes if there is a malfunction in the controller. check the blinking patterns of the led to help diagnose what is going on with your treadmill. th-cam.com/video/QszHrCs72AM/w-d-xo.html

    i have a treadmill but when i put it on, the board console ligth for a second, the fan start too and then go black again, what must be the problem?

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually this is what will happen when the power switch is turned on but the safety key is not in place. the next step would be to put the safety key in place. If the key is properly inserted or placed on the console but the console remains unlit then you may need a new key switch. Sometimes the key switch is part of the console itself and sometimes it is on a pulse bar assembly or console base. If your treadmill is new and the key switch is not part of the console, make sure that the base or pulse bar assembly wires were properly connected to the console during assembly.

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The error you are probably seeing is "SB" that stands for S-tuck B-utton. With the power turned off, you can use the palm of your hand apply pressure and rub the surface of the console buttons. This may free up any stuck membrane switch connections. if the error persists you may need a new console.
