Andre, my friend. 🙏🏻thank you so much, I can’t really explain how much your comments and others have lifted me up. Glad you are on this journey with me.
Stop thanking everybody and start thinking to yourself why you have so many comments bro. I think you're helping many people by being as honest as you are. We all relapse everyday, that's why we're here, because we can understand each other, and someday maybe get better. Dont put so much pressure on yourself, and start accepting that WE are thanking YOU for a change 😊This relapse is really no big deal man, but sharing it with us really is, takes some guts. Be proud of this channel, because at the end of the day, you're helping people out in your own special way. Take care bro
🥹 sh*t bro this comment is awesome man. Thank you much. Y’all are really helping me just as much as I’m helping y’all. This community is beautiful. 💪 one day at a time, I’ll be back and stronger than ever soon.
✊🏻trying my best brother, just tryna get over these withdrawals and I’ll be back stronger than ever. I appreciate this comment, y’all help me as well. Thank you.
Think about that relapse like a bullet Arnold Schwarzenegger, when he was the Terminator would have taken. He just took it and kept walking like a badass. You got this.
Good to have you back. Even though you feel horrible about this right now, remember that most of us are addicts, and won't judge. My counselor said to me something like this when I was at my lowest: "If "one day at a time" seems too much, make it "one hour at a time" until you're well enough". (That being said, I also had a relapse and feel so stupid right now...)
ILAA hey 👋, thank you so much. The amount of love y’all have shown has just lifted me up. We understand each other. And hey!! That’s okay, let’s pick up are boots and start over together. Today is a new day for us. We are in this together. Much love!! And keep me updated! 🙏🏻
Slayer you don’t owe us any apology at the end of the day we just want you to be happy and healthy man. We’ll support you through whatever happens man, relapses are a part of recovery and you WILL bounce back from this. There’s a community you’ve built here that’ll always have your back, but there’s also those in real life that have your back brother. Try not to feel shame, and look at this as a lesson. We’re all rooting for you and love you man, keep on keepin on❤️. Looking forward to seeing you progress and reach new heights, YOU GOT THIS MAN!!👊👊👊
Hey brother wow, 🙏🏻🖤 thank you so much. These comments have brought a lot of hope back into my soul. Seeing the love, the support it’s just beautiful. Thanks so much for being part of this ride with me!!! 💪 🙏🏻
@@Slayer-7373 We got your back man! This bounce back is gonna go crazy! Your videos have helped me understand many of the emotions and motives behind my drinking and helped me stay sober. You've helped so many of us, and we will always be there to help you back!
Brother no need to apologize. We are all a community on here and we support you unconditionally. Please just do what is best for you. We are here for you. Please reach out at any time. You’re a soldier.
🙏🏻i appreciate this comment brother more than you know. We are a community, this is our tribe. I’m extremely privileged to have people like yourself here with me on this journey. I thank you again, I’m trying my best to kick this with draws ass and get back on my feet ✊🏻. Much love.
Man honestly it made me sad to see you in that hospital bed but I get it I've been there too. Thank you for being so honest and having such an awesome channel. I quit school today and drove down to Houston I'm coming off the worst bender I've ever been on and my Aunt is getting me into rehab tomorrow. I'll comment when I'm out with an update. God bless you and please keep me in your prayers. I commented the same thing on LD's channel. You two are rock stars and I'm genuinely greatful for the content you guys put out
I appreciate that so much man, thank you so much 🙏🏻 I sent a prayer your way brother, we really are in similar boats and in this together. Going to detox is the best thing you can do, we both need to recover. Much love brother and good luck. Keep me updated please.
Hang in there. You have nothing to apologize to us for. It's your fight and this binge episode is over. You'll figure it out but don't put so much pressure on yourself. Most everyone here in the same boat, whether it be 1 hour or 25 years. Keep moving forward and keep getting up. And keep friends in your circle who will pull you out if you drop next time. You are helping a lot of people in the meantime. Be strong.
Hey 👋 thank you very much. You are so right. I will as well my friend, we will be strong together ✊🏻💪. I appreciate these comments from y’all more then you know.
I am sure it is very hard to get back on track after relapsing, but you had over four months sober and during that time you put a lot of good out into the world. Please remember your relapse did not erase all that. Just pick up and keep on going.
Thank you grace, thank you so much. You are right. Y’all’s comments have changed my entire outlook on this relapse. Much love and remember it’s appreciated 🙏🏻
You don’t owe anyone anything but I feel you bro… we have all been there. That being said… the way you show us love and picked us up…. Let us send you some love and let us pick you up. I’m praying for you brother. From the bottom of my heart.. we love you man. Can’t wait for your next video
I appreciate that so much man. Thank you, the love and support that y’all have shown back has been beautiful. You’ve been a long time friend of this channel. Thank you Oscar, hope you are doing well.
You may love us and we love you too and want you to succeed, but the only thing that matters is loving yourself. You didn't fail, so stop looking at it like that. Be kind to yourself. Brush yourself off and use this as fire for a renewed attempt at long term sobriety and hopefully a drive to put more content out there when you're ready. There's a reason we stick around and watch your videos, dude. But don't feel pressured by us to make more videos for now. Focus on healing you. I recommend checking out the StopDrinking subreddit and reading and engaging with posts there. I don't do groups like AA, but that's helped me keep my head on straight. Much love. I won't drink today if you won't.
Beautiful very realistic comment man. I needed to hear this I think. Y’all are helping me through this so much with these comments. You guys have changed my outlook on this, I will use this as fuel to come back even stronger. I’m worth it, we are worth it. I’m with you with the not drinking brother ✊🏻💪
It’s good to hear from you man holy sh*t. If you feel the need to go back to the hospital or to a detox don’t hesitate brother just want to see you taken care of love you bro
Slayer your a warrior and you've got this, sadly as I also have experienced myself a terrible relapse but It seriously is a part of the recovery process , we learn and pick ourselves up. Much respect my brother I'm staying sober today with you 💪
You're a strong brother..I've been to hell and back concerning alcohol abuse..You're going to pull through this..I know you will...Pray to The Lord Jesus Christ 💪.. One love bro
Hey my friend you aren’t alone, let’s start our journeys over together again. It’s how we react after a relapse that counts. You’ve got this, I believe in you. One day at a time, let’s do this together!!! 🙏🏻
Hey man, You helped us, we help you. Remember, every time you face it down, it gets weaker and you get stronger. 'If you are going through Hell then keep going' Winston Churchill. Praying for you bud.
Slayer, please forgive yourself. And understand that "failure" isn't actually failure; it's a teaching/learning experience that is SO valuable. Just love yourself, and know that we love you too, and want the best life for you.
Hey friend ! I’m glad you’re home. Relapses happen to the best and strongest. I have faith in you. I know you are strong smart and capable of being sober again. My friend 🖤🙏🏻 thank you so much. These comments and community are just beautiful. You guys have really been getting me through this along with some family and my Bible study group. I will also take your advice, thanks so much mona 🙏🏻
You will grow from this experience. It will underscore your need to stay sober. We're Not going away. Im saying a prayer for you. Just keep us updated because we care. ❤
I think so too cyn, I really do. Thank you for this beautiful comment my friend 🙏🏻🖤 also thank you for your prayers, they mean more than you know in these times.
Hey Slayer, my friend, don’t ever feel alone. This is just a bump in the road. I remember just a few weeks ago you were helping me through a dark moment and that’s what it was. We keep moving forward. There’s no shame or regret, this will pass. If you don’t start feeling well, please go to the hospital. We’re all with you and believe you can do this…you will do this. One day at a time. Sending you love and peaceful thoughts my friend.
Micru, you truly are my friend. I’ve had “friends” in person that have never made some of the beautiful, uplifting and selfless comments to me like you have. I truly cannot thank you enough, I’m glad you’re on this journey with me and I’m glad we are helping one another out of these dark spots. I will go back to the hospital if I feel like I need to trust me. Also sending love back to you, thank you micru!! 🙏🏻
@@Slayer-7373you got this, we got this 🙏. We’re all here for you as you’re here for us. And trust me I know there are ppl IRL who appear to be our friends but really are so far from that. Always surround yourself with positivity, if they are not you’ll need to distance yourself. I’ll be honest I have one friend IRL, when I was younger we would ride out 20+ deep of girls. Where are these friends now? No where because they weren’t real friends. People will use you and when you need something from them they tend to disappoint. If you have some good friends you’re fortunate. If not, trust me you’re not alone. The best company you can have is yourself. You’ve built a really cool set up people here that can relate to the struggle.
Salut Slayer ! Happy to hear from you ! I wish you to keep rested and take it slowly. You’ve been through this before, you’ll get through it again. Yes, we are all on this journey together and you have all my support !!
I'm glad you're ok...thanks for being so vulnerable. In this video you definitely aren't the positive Slayer I'm used to seeing, of course because you're not well. You WILL rebuild. And I'm sure this will light a fire under your ass, I bet you get so angry that you launch into sobriety with more resolve than ever. You never know, maybe you having a relapse has stopped your viewers from drinking again? You may have even saved some lives, people might have died in their relapse if they didn't see this video as a warning.
Hey josh, this comment actually brought a tear to my eye man. It really could have been for a higher purpose. Also you’re right, I’m gonna come back stronger than ever, more positive than ever. Everything happens for a reason brother. It also saddens me that y’all have to see me down like this, but at this point we are a family. Much love josh and thank you for letting me see it from this point of view. 🙏🏻
Yessir we’re in this together bro 💪 Proverbs 24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. Lets keep going and keep getting back up 💯
And my personality type is to where once I fall off I just go way overboard. It's a very dangerous mentality no matter what it applies to (gambling, food, etc). Very self destructive mentality. So we have to be way more aware to keep that armor up.
Oh absolutely brother I’m the same way, I dive HEAD first into the addiction again. Picked up right where I left off which it’s like you said is extremely dangerous. We must have the armor of god and our shields up at all times or something like what has happened to me can occur. Thanks for this comment my friend 🙏🏻
“I can never forget, but no matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets or no matter how far you fall, you are never out of the fight.” You got this Slayer! By the minute, hour and day - you will get stronger my friend. I too have relapsed from alcohol abuse on several occasions and each withdrawal feels more hellish due to kindling yet each time, and remember this Slayer, you will come back stronger! Love, health and strength to you brother.
Thank you so much brother, awesome words of wisdom coming from the heart. The comment section has really been something beautiful. One day at a time my friend, thank you again!! 🙏🏻
You can never be a failure Slayer for you have heart - and its a big heart too: always in your corner and I believe in you. When the tears come, let them fall, for it will help you to heal. With you brother. ❤@Slayer-7373
Slayer, I’m Praying for you! What really helped me was going on a strict carnivore diet. Alcohol is made from sugar. Sugar activatates the same part of the brain as alcohol and leave you white knuckling. Imagine trying to quit smoking but there was hidden nicotine in all your food. Plus you hear doctors saying how important diet and protein is. Listen to Robert Lustigs video on here about sugar. It has millions of views. It changed my life. If you’re ready to hear it. It will change yours too.
I appreciate those prayers brother more than you know, I really do in these times. Also I have checked out Joe rogans carnivore diet before and heard lots of good things. I will check out what you’re talking about man, thanks so much. 🙏🏻
Hey man, we're all human beings, we trip and fall every now again. Keep pushing through that withdraw, im sure you remember how much healthier your body feels and how much better sleep you get after the first few weeks. Not to mention the money you save. You got this man, quitting is still the best thing ive ever decided on. God bless brother
Brother thank you, you are 100% right after the first couple weeks the light starts to shine again, I’ve been through this before I’ll get through it again. Comments like yours have really gotten me through this dark time. Thanks again brother and take care. 🙏🏻
I just found your channel through LD. You can do this. I have liver disease from alcohol. I have 10 months under my belt and not a single day goes by I don't think about drinking. You have nothing to be sorry about
We’ve been there bro, and I’d say most of us know what it’s like. I used to be addicted to xanax, and on my journey to recovery I slipped up a lot. It gets very rough, and I just hope you’re feeling better again soon. Like I said try not to he too down on yourself, you’re still on the path to recovery and that’s what counts. We’re all here for you bro, no judgements here
Hey brother 👋, i appreciate that man I really do. Also benzo addiction is very similar to alcohol addiction, both absolute hell on earth. I am feeling a bit better today, probably a few more days of feeling pretty low and crappy, but I know there is light at the end of that tunnel. People like yourself have reminded me of that. One day at a time, 🙏🏻
Ain’t nothing to apologize for. Learn from it and get stronger. Sharing it with everyone is huge as well, it shows that it happens and the important part is to get help and learn from it. You can overcome.
Please hang in there and get whatever support you need. I know first hand about how extreme the withdraws can be. Your mind isn’t even able to process that things can be good again. But, they can. The darkness really can lift. People love you and are so happy you are in the world. Remember that. Also, you never know who you’re helping with what you’re doing. Take care of yourself, you’ve got a lot of people cheering you on! 😊
Hey lola thank you so much for this comment 🙏🏻, you are so right about when you’re in the withdrawal it seems like there is no hope, but that’s not true you guys have shown me absolute love and support, it’s beautiful. Comments like yours have been getting me through this dark time. Much love 🙏🏻 thank you again.
You're so far from a failure. You're trying to help others and that's a wonderful thing. I can't believe they sent you home, withdrawals should be closely monitored, so should your numbers. My Daughter drank the large bottles straight only her drink was vodka, she'd drink till she passed out then started as soon as she woke up. The insomnia with withdrawal is cruel. Don't be down on yourself, it happened and there's nothing you can do to change that, can only start again my friend. I pray for you and I know my Daughter would too if she was still here. Much love ❤️

Hey friend! I'm so glad you're okay! never feel the need to apologize, and there's no need to thank us. Thank you for being such a kind, compassionate and caring person. We're all her for a reason, and this is exactly the kind of place where anyone could go to feel understood.. and you are understood. We've all relapsed. You were right in saying that you give great advice. Don't sell yourself short in thinking that you can't take it. You absolutely can. The next piece of advice you should take from your own archive is to give yourself grace, and to get right back up. Because you are so worth it. I hope you have some people close to you at home that you can lean on in this time. Just know that you have a family right here as well who are waiting for you to lean on us. Sending you love from NY, Slayer!! You've got this!! ❤❤

I’m very sorry to hear that, but as you can see I know exactly what it’s like. I’m pushing through okay so far. I hope you are okay as well, alcohol withdrawal is no joke! Thank you for your comment, keep me updated on your journey! 💯
Appreciate that. We want to change. It’s going to happen. I just picked up GABA, thiamine, b complex. I think the lack of nutrition is what can bring on those dts. I remember barely being able to walk in the hospital and nurses laughing at me. I just wanted to quit that day. It’s an insane, anxiety driven disease. I’m praying for both of us.
@@Sam-tz7cd good grabs as far as withdrawals go. Lack of nutrition is definitely part of it, it is insane disease. You have people here that care. We will get through this 🙏🏻
We Love you too just don’t let yourself get all bent out of shape, just mark those days off. Pick up where you left off and stay focused and practice coping skills let the feelings pass its like a wave the feelings crest and then your just bored but it’s okay to sober and bored and safe. I love the nothingness of recovery it’s not really loneliness because having you, yourself as your best friend is worth every single moment stay true to yourself and know your never alone I have faith in you my friend

I look up at the time and see it’s 4:56 am, melatonin might not be a bad idea lol. The insomnia always is awful coming off the alcohol, but I’m sober today and that’s all that matters. I’ll go through what I have to to get to the other side. God bless 🙏🏻
Hey brother I know exactly how you feel and I’m with you on this. Day 8 here just taking it one hour at a time and like someone told me “ get MAD at that poison alcohol and let’s kick its ass “ we have a bright future ahead of us both and alcohol WILL NOT be apart of it! Love you brother I’m here if you need anything!
That’s right brother let’s kick it’s ass, we’ve both got this!! Thank you for your comment man, much love ✊🏻 same goes to You, don’t hesitate to reach out. This sh%t sucks but like you said one hour at a time we will get through.
I thank you, your videos helped me a ton. Now when you get through these withdrawals, you won't be back to day one. You will simply continue in your sobriety. All your sober days from the past few months still count. It's not all or nothing, you just took some time off.
@@Slayer-7373 we are all in this together! Sometimes it's important to look at this from let's say mathematical (if I can call that like this:)) perspective, looking at this like a bird from high above. You are like 99 percent sober for the past quarter, and that counts and is a huge achievement
My ex husband, still a best friend, relapsed and relapsed and relapsed until he wasn’t around to ever relapse again, on account of the last and final RELAPSE! Enough is enough…
Hey, I just recently got sober and came across your videos- you seem like a really kind person. Its rare to see someone be open and honest on the internet these days…. I know you feel shitty right now but in a weird way thats a blessing… if hangovers and alcohol poisoning didn’t exist we would never stop. Whenever I start craving it I try to remember the nights of throwing up on the floor of my shower wanting to die. Sometimes it takes a couple times to see that we really can’t moderate… it’s hard realization to come to but there’s no denying it lol. Im glad you’re alive I hope you keep posting
Hey 👋 thank you so much friend. You are absolutely right about that though, it’s programmed there to make us stop, one way or another. Myself and all of us must remind ourselves of not only the horrid withdrawal, but also all the other chaos alcohol brings. I will keep posting trust me. Also I like checking my subs channels out, not sure if that’s you in the fuddruckers video, but I absolutely love fuddruckers 🤣. I don’t eat meat often but I do like their burgers. @@Slayer-7373 that is crazy gosh alcohol is such a vile substance and ya know I genuinely believe in. A happy healthy world we’re it’s life is comfortable for the large Majority it would be almost nonexistent if a problem. Relapsing is not a part of recovery. Relapsing is an easy excuse to use or to get buzzed 1 last time. I was on my death bed doctors told me i was dead if i drank even 1 more day.. I was a chronic alcoholic got so bad i couldn't even get out of bed at the end. Get your mind in order before its to late. I wish you the best in your journey. I have got 24 years clean and sober.. Don't give up bud. I know you don't like what i have to say on relapsing but i am a firm believer relapsing is not part of recovery . does it happen yes an yes however its not part of the deal imo
I actually appreciate this comment brother and have thought the same thing actually. I’ve been really hesitant about saying relapse is part of recovery because it feels like it can give someone the excuse to drink. Relapse at this point really can’t be in my recovery and you’re right, but at the same time pretty much 99% of people who start recovery are going to relapse, therefore somewhat making it part of the step to make it. I respect your opinion and I’m 50/50 on it myself. Thanks for the comment brother. 🙏🏻
I’m need help. Man I can not seem to stop. My gf hates it and I know she wants me to stop. I feel like a selfish asshole and a let down for keeping drinking. I want to quit but man this addiction is way more malevolent than I ever thought it could be . I hope you get better man. I need to stop. I’m at point of wanting to just die.
Hey brother 👋 I know exactly what you’re going through, you’re not alone. I lost my gf because of my drinking so please please not only for your gf but most importantly for YOU, go get help my friend. I’m still figuring all of this out myself but I’ve been able to see with getting 4 months of sobriety that there really is a way out. You aren’t alone!! I know how awful it is!!! Please keep hope and don’t give up!! Keep me updated please!
When I was doing my bachelors we had exercises at local psych ward (funny to have been on both sides of the bars). On addiction treatment there was this one undisputed champion and record holder of being into rehab for the 37th time. Champs never give up and you are a champ, mate.
I want to tell you that every time we quit & begin again, it gets 7x worse. So, push hard to Jesus. He’s the only way. Reading scripture out loud chases temptation away. James 4:7 KJV Resist the devil & he will flee from you. Keep saying it out loud. Jesus knows your heart & if really want to quit & follow Him, He will make the way for you. God bless You!

Good to have you back. Even though you feel horrible about this right now, remember that most of us are addicts, and won't judge. My counselor said to me something like this when I was at my lowest: "If "one day at a time" seems too much, make it "one hour at a time" until you're well enough".

Good luck man
Hang in there.
Glad you're out of the hospital, take care of yourself friend.
🙏🏻thank you so much brother, you’ve shown so much love and support. You are hands down my friend! 💯🖤
You are the greatest project you will ever work on . Restart. Reset . Refocus as many times as you need to , just don’t ever give up on yourself

You’ve built a really cool set up people here that can relate to the struggle.
the phrase is "came to believe", its all part of the process.
Lets keep going and keep getting back up 💯
Absolutely 🙏🏻💯, thank you my friend.

I thank you for that my friend , also yes it 100% is. A MFSOB actually.

Appreciate that. We want to change. It’s going to happen. I just picked up GABA, thiamine, b complex. I think the lack of nutrition is what can bring on those dts. 🙏🏻
I even changed the title brother.

37 times??? Woahhh. I hope I’m never in that boat brother. Thanks for this comment my friend 🙏🏻
@@Slayer-7373 yeah from his story dude sometimes left detox/therapy and came back in the same month. I hope he didnt went for 100 :D
Thanks Laura 🙏🏻, I will. He’s the way out of all of this and I know that in my heart. God bless.
Are you Indian?
😆 I like to keep people guessing haha, one day I’ll tell y’all.
Dude this shit is hard you are not a failure, it’s crazy cause I was literally going through a panic attack about how low I’m feeling and how Sometimes I want to go back to my habits I felt like I was more alive then. When I was just running from myself. It’s been a few years for me, and I have moments where I feel the need. You got this! Keep your head up!💜🫂🥹
