Your schedule sounds so hectic, but so positive. Please continue to take care of yourself!! As for this video, these symptoms sound like torture. I've dealt with anxiety in the aftermath of drinking. Depression as well. I was probably more irritable and less patient at first, but I had it so easy in comparison to all of this. I'm so glad you're doing well. Great video. My country has a good system today, but in the 90's, i was thrown into a prison cell when they caught me with heroin. Had to stay there and was forced to go cold from heroin, alcohol and lorazepam (ativan) at the same time. That was really bad, it could have killed me, but nobody gave a shit in these days. Like today, the inmates can get methadone, they can get benzos and see a doctor when it comes to withdrawal, even getting hospitalised, but for me, there was no help. So i had to go through the entire withdrawal on my own and that was really bad.
Still, it's a problem, that nobody can tell the addicts which symptoms they'll get. Some get it more easy than others, they don't get the full spectrum. It can not even be told when the consume is analyzed, how long and how much someone did drink, it's just a dice roll, you can only hope the best. But anyway, best is to get medical help anyway.

I completely agree on the fact that alcohol is demonic. Because many people regardless of their cultural or religious background see the same stuff.
For me it was like I couldn’t tell if I was dreaming or awake. And for example one time I saw strange people digging up graves in my garden in the summertime while snow came down.
When you try to talk or shout at them they wouldn’t react but oddly you kinda feel they know you a there. Very strange and scary.
Also I like to add to the list “dry puking”. It’s like when nothing is in your stomach because you couldn’t eat but you have the urge to puke and the only thing that’s coming out is some neon yellow substance.
    Great times.
Anyway keep up the great work it’s a good reminder of not going down this route again. Thank you 🙏

100% man it’s definitely demonic. That sounds wilddddd. I was listening to a podcast the other day about someone who had a NDE because of their drinking and they said they also saw people digging graves and corpses, it’s insane.

It depends on what you drank and how intoxicated you are.If its something severe, you need tapering for sure.Or detox.Speaking of tapering, its actually just tapering, not drink itself. You won't feel almost any good anyways,so no point to go on.I did last times like this:bad sleep first, taper and stable one afterwards.Sure, you still feel icky for a couple of days, but no danger.Again, its individual and depends on severity of intoxication.Might need more steps, but its the only safe way without detox,in my opinion

@@Slayer-7373 Hey mate thank you for your reply I really appreciate that and watching your video and hearing about your experience has made me feel a lot better it's good to know that I'm not the only one that experiences withdrawals like that which are just like you said the worst thing in the world, and i know exactly what you mean by family giving you bad advice even tho they're there for you because if you haven't experienced alcohol withdrawal people just don't understand how awful it is,It's a very lonely thing to go through, although I relapsed but because I made it 5 days without a drink I now don't need alcohol around a clock but the not being able to sleep thing is just horrible as well but I'm gonna start again from now and I'll definitely keep you posted on how I'm doing, also how long does it take for the insomnia to go away, seriously thank you so much again for your video and sharing your experience you should definitely do more videos about it and give your advice for people that are drinking and trying to get sober.

Alcohol is a very difficult substance to quit because of how it's advertised. Everytime you decide to not drink is very powerful and shows you have extreme resiliency. I'm a recovering opioid addict and know the struggle, gratitude is the short answer but easier said then done. Never give up, play the tape thru. Remember how terrible those withdrawals are, and they do get worse over time.

I quit alcohol for a few months after drinking between 12-20 alcoholic units damn near every single day of my life for about 5 years. Thank god I didn’t have most of those symptoms after I quit. The only physical symptom that I think I can tie to alcohol withdrawal was probably this really horrible headache I had the second full day I was sober. It felt like a hangover headache to me but slightly different. Luckily that went away by the third day. My anxiety and agitation may have spiked a little bit but I’m naturally pretty anxious anyway. The depression I certainly felt and extreme tiredness and excessive hunger was a bitch to deal with for the entire time I was sober, which was only for a few months. Nobody really explained the tiredness and cravings for food. I also felt the need to constantly drink liquids, it’s like I had developed some oral fixation lol. Anyways. I’ve been back to drinking quite heavy again for about six months now. My main thing I struggle with is wanting to drink when shit gets too stressful for me. And that always sends me basically right back to my old habits. If I get drunk even once. I really do think I could get the extreme withdrawals you’re talking about here if I continue on the path I’m on for a few years though.

    • @Slayer-7373
      @Slayer-7373  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

I can relate to everything you just said bro. You’re right about the food cravings, I also find myself needing some sort of beverage with me at all times. Water, coffee, a soda it doesn’t matter but I need something.
In my IOP rehab group we were talking about stress and how to deal with it. It’s different for everyone and something I’m definitely working on, but it can be done. Finding healthy ways to deal with our stress instead of running to that bottle.
The fact that you went multiple months without a drink proves you can do it brother. We all get there at our own time but trust me it only gets worse and worse. I never thought my alcoholism would get as bad as it has. I never thought I’d experience the withdrawal I’ve had. For a long time I didn’t, then it all changed and got worse than it already was.
You seem to know that you need to stop so you’re already on the right path. Just take action my friend. I’m here to uplift and support bro.
God bless and keep me updated!

Yea. It’s hard to know which toxin is the culprit. When I found out they have to add yellow dye to dog food because the production process turned it gray, I knew I had to stop feeding them that crap.
Here’s what I feed them now:
Pack of chicken leg quarters from aldi $6 on average (TONS of meat)
      Brown rice $1.50 a bag
      Kale $2.50 a bag
      Peas $2 a bag
Slow cooke the chicken and kale in crockpot over night. Take chicken out, Meat slides off the bones. Scoop a little broth out and to make the rice in. Throw the bones back in the crock pot. Let that cook all day, at some point you can throw the peas in for a few minutes to unfreeze. Remove those. Everything stores in fridge. I will keep the broth in the fridge too to pour over their food or just as a snack throughout the day. They LOOOOVE IT. Chicken lasts about a week for two small dogs. The other ingredients last longer. Especially that bag of rice.
Way cheaper than dog food and once you get a method down, making it isn’t all that time consuming as it’s just cooking as you go about your day.
