I have a i9 16 inch Mac book and the only problem I’m having the “usb 3 is required for the device” but my usb-c to usb-c cable is connected I I did everything reset, unplug and everything but nothing is working
The problem I’m having in stream labs OBS is when I input the video input in the 1920x1080 doesn’t fit on the workspace I have. Like I can only see a fourth of my capture video the rest is stretch out last the black borders. And when I actually start the stream it really is that small so if I scale it down to fit within the square I just have a tiny stream :(
Videos like this involving anything with super detailed components for streaming/TH-cam is fun and super interesting to watch over and over again. Yes I’m that kind of person.....

You literally solved every single issue I had, man. Not only that but also the PS4 thing? Literally not mentioned when dealing with the capture card, and it's a HUGE issue. Thank you for this.
Instead of running two software to hear the audio what you can do is go to the settings of the elgato on obs and put the audio output mode to waveout and that will make your elgato audio to desktop. and great video man you really help me out.

This was really insightful, great tutorial man! So many fine details covered in this session. So I saw how you synchronized the clips (great feature, I record with OBS and edit videos with Davinci Resolve), how you did the recording and face cam together. Once you connect the console to the PC/laptop between the capture card, can you live stream off a PS4/PS5 with another camera connected to the computer? Cause I might do that when I get my PS5 later on.
Great video man thanks. I just got the HD60S+ today and was disappointed with the lack of features in the software. Most noteably for me there are no options to tweak the game audio or set the game audio to auto reduce when I speak on commentary which is a feature I love on the HD60S software. Hopefully they will continue to improve this software. Delighted with the hardware just needs some more software love added. Cheers! :)

Thanks a ton! I had downloaded the 4k capture and I could not get my audio sorted. Caved and got the elgato chat link and it still wasn't working. Turns out I just needed to revert to using the 4k capture and I got it all running now.
I just downloaded the 4k capture utility and have it all set up but I don’t see the little tools that you have on the right hand side of your screen ? It only goes full screen of my gameplay please help

what ps4 are you using? I have a slim and it only has 1 hdmi port on it. I plugged the hdmi in into the elgato and ps4, and the out into my monitor and elagto. I hear volume but my monitor doesnt show the gameplay.
I need help to setup the sound properly with chat link cable. Can't make the sound work on Streamlabs. I can hear the sound properly on the headphones (3d pulse from Sony) while on a party chat. But can't capture any sound on the app.

You’re amazing for this. But I do have a question, do you have any idea how to use the Arctic wireless pro steelseries headphones using the elgato and OBS WITHOUT needing a chat link. I have a chat link but it kind defeats the whole idea of having a wireless headset and mix amp that comes with it! Would love to see what you have in mind and if you can help as a lot of people have wireless headsets these days too 👌🏾
@@arminwarntjes7652 nah I didn’t get an answer but what I would suggest is getting an audio extractor and seeing if that helps! Should be easy to pick up for a decent price! I did this but Then I changed from steelseries to Astro’s and it pretty much works the same as it did with the steel series. Hope this helps
@@arminwarntjes7652 I don’t think it will work with a USB Bluetooth headset at least from my experience when I did my friends set up he was using a Bluetooth headset and it wouldn’t work as we wanted to so he also changed his headset. Preferably one with a mix amp or if you was to buy a headset that comes with an aux that would work too but then you’ll have to get a mix amp seperate unfortunately. 8 suggest either the Astro a40’s &/or A50’s (will need Astro’s own audio extractor) or the steelseries arctis pro wireless. I’ve tired them all and they all work great from my experience!
Midnight I hope you see this, will I need to buy that microphone adapter thing you mentioned I got everything set up but I plugged my microphone into the elgato and on Obs and on the elgato software it didn’t show up, I want to live stream and for the live stream to be able to hear gamechat audio the actually game audio and if someone speaks in the lobby I also want that to be available too? Will I need to purchase the adapter thing ?

The “this video is too long” people are the same ones who are still trying to find all the info that he’s given out in the video.

This was cool can you do this with Xbox because my brother has one and he also has an elgato
The steps are the same for the Xbox, just plug the HDMI into the back of your Xbox instead of PS4.

Ah yes, I use a 5 port Ethernet switch. Check out my equipment setup video I show it in that video.
