Great question - they're pretty different, as are any 2 stones - I find more immediate use for the Indian "Nuumite" (actually Coppernite) as a Galactic Protection stone. The Greenland Nuumite is deeper, more mysterious, and to be honest, I haven't cracked its mysteries yet. Pieces are usually tiny - I get Northern Sky Aurora Vibes from it - which make it a Vision or even Source stone, vs. the Indian material, which is a Channel stone. I've been researching how to spot the difference between morion and irradiated? Any legit clues? From what I can see the irradiated has a more mirror like effect is more 'perfect' whereas morion is more banged up and has a tendency to grow with,... Is that calcite crystals? And do they always accompany morion?
Hi Sophie - you're my kind of Crystal Lover - wish I had you on my Mailing List: CrystalConcentrics.com/Subscribe/ (you might like to check out my site too). Not sure it's worth a blog on its own, but your question is excellent. It really doesn't have to do with the external structure (and certainly not with the presence of Calcite, which appears only by chance on certain pieces). The fact is that irradiated pieces are picked - either 'cause they're not perfectly clear or because they already have enough clear pieces - and they want to 'create' something new and different by passing the clear Quartz through a radiation chamber, that's what makes it black. I find that irradiated pieces tend to have a milky undersdide, or base of the point that looks somehow 'off.' I think people pick otherwise nice pieces (generally), certainly they do in Arkansas. True Morions are of course irradiated naturally, in the ground. They are more uniformly colored and can tend to have a more matt (rather than glassy) finish. I don't know that lighter Smoky or Morion Quartzes come from Arkansas (where originates a lot of the irradiated material). Top sources for true Morions are China, Brazil, and (more rarely) New Hampshire (and Colorado) that I know if (in the U.S.). I just realised something-- so does that mean any smokey quartz that is dark at one point and near clear at the other end falsely irradiated? I just want to be properly informed and not waste my money on something that's not a true morion. Yes I have heard that if it's from arkansas you can guarantee its irradiated. Also, another locale for morion is in Scotlish Highlands, where I live :) thanks for the feedback.
The fact that a Smoky is "dark on one side and near clear on the other" is not a universal indicator of anything. Nor are all Arkansas Quartzes irradiated (the vast majority are clear). I'd love to see pix of the Scottish Morions. Email me! Kyle

However, what if I am the one who throws negativity to them (for instance I say or wish something bad, curse them), will raw black toourmaline return to me what I said or wished them? I've learned repeatedly that unwarranted bad wishes against others is essentially 'black' magic, and eventually (or quickly) poisons you at least as bad as your bad wishes against others. it's not Life-full energy. And I think using Crystals in this way is harmful to them and others. That being said, maybe I'm misunderstanding your question, feel free to rephrase it. Hi sir just come over your video. Can you show how to know the fake to the real please. I buy some stone today my black tourmaline stone peace break off it smooth edge . The only thing look real is the lapis lazuli stone. Am in St Lucia am from guyana but I live st lucia. Here there are a lot of fake things . So please can you help.? Thank you 🙏

I've been researching how to spot the difference between morion and irradiated? Any legit clues? From what I can see the irradiated has a more mirror like effect is more 'perfect' whereas morion is more banged up and has a tendency to grow with,... Is that calcite crystals? And do they always accompany morion?
Hi Sophie - you're my kind of Crystal Lover - wish I had you on my Mailing List: CrystalConcentrics.com/Subscribe/ (you might like to check out my site too). Not sure it's worth a blog on its own, but your question is excellent. It really doesn't have to do with the external structure (and certainly not with the presence of Calcite, which appears only by chance on certain pieces). The fact is that irradiated pieces are picked - either 'cause they're not perfectly clear or because they already have enough clear pieces - and they want to 'create' something new and different by passing the clear Quartz through a radiation chamber, that's what makes it black. I find that irradiated pieces tend to have a milky undersdide, or base of the point that looks somehow 'off.' I think people pick otherwise nice pieces (generally), certainly they do in Arkansas. True Morions are of course irradiated naturally, in the ground. They are more uniformly colored and can tend to have a more matt (rather than glassy) finish. I don't know that lighter Smoky or Morion Quartzes come from Arkansas (where originates a lot of the irradiated material). Top sources for true Morions are China, Brazil, and (more rarely) New Hampshire (and Colorado) that I know if (in the U.S.). @@CrystalConcentrics thanks for the reply. I'm normally good at this kind of stuff and this is my new obsession. Yes I can agree with the lack of uniformity in colour being a tip off. I just realised something-- so does that mean any smokey quartz that is dark at one point and near clear at the other end falsely irradiated? I just want to be properly informed and not waste my money on something that's not a true morion. Yes I have heard that if it's from arkansas you can guarantee its irradiated. Also, another locale for morion is in Scotlish Highlands, where I live :) thanks for the feedback.
The fact that a Smoky is "dark on one side and near clear on the other" is not a universal indicator of anything. Nor are all Arkansas Quartzes irradiated (the vast majority are clear). I'd love to see pix of the Scottish Morions. Email me! Kyle

I've learned repeatedly that unwarranted bad wishes against others is essentially 'black' magic, and eventually (or quickly) poisons you at least as bad as your bad wishes against others. it's not Life-full energy. And I think using Crystals in this way is harmful to them and others. That being said, maybe I'm misunderstanding your question, feel free to rephrase it. And nowadays - we have additional overhead, with postage being more, staff wages hike annually, the cost of posting online, maintaining state of the art databases, and paying rent for a brick and mortar shop - so yes (and in Tucson) everybody's prices have gone up. There's no vibrational reason for Obsidian to be a protection stone - it is pure black glass - just like outer space, an open slate, great for new beginnings and external clearing but NOT for protection.
