Quartz and Amethyst junkie here. Too many of them but I love the varieties and colours of both. Got all my rocks in a drawer to keep the dust off them, trying to keep the dust off them is murder as it collects up in wee nooks and crannies and is really difficult to do. Everytime I come across a mineral or gem...it's very tempting to get it to add to the collection, especially if it's a rare one.

For some of us, personal experience. I used to believe it was all bullshit until I experienced their energy myself. I wasn't expecting anything before hand so it could not have been a placebo. For some of us, personal experience. I used to believe it was all bullshit until I experienced their energy myself. I wasn't expecting anything before hand so it could not have been a placebo. I'd picked a stone I was drawn too and that's it. Also everything has energy and vibrates. There is not thing 'magical' about that. Crystals work by interacting with our energies and vibrations and are often used to balance chakras. But they do not cure illness, bring happiness. They're an aid, not a substitute for genuine medical care. Only you can bring yourself abudance, happiness, etc

Using them for healing isn’t worshiping the stone. If you drink camomile tea to relax you and help you sleep, is that worshipping? If nothing else, it would be a beautiful collection. But, lets just take away the healing part of having crystals and minerals. Let’s say you had a pendant with a rose quartz in it. Rose quartz is the stone of love. Including self love. It could serve as a reminder every time you see it to love yourself a little more. Or to love others.

I've been working with crystals for a long time. I can confirm they work. No, they dont work by healing cancer or growing amputated limbs, but more on the spiritual and emotional.
