David, you had the whole audience on the edge of their seat. You could hear a pin drop. This talk will stay with me forever. I hope this is shared far and wide.
Beautiful message of unity and so simple & doable - learning to pause and recognising our cultural conditioning. Very powerful. Hope this message is heard and practised by everyone in our beautiful world. Thank you so much for sharing. Very powerful
Dave, your humor brought me in right away. This message needs to be heard far and wide. You have such a witty way of making the topic of cultural differences feel light and hopeful rather than heavy. I LOVE the technique you shared near the end. That technique and your talk can change our world.
This talk is amazing Dave. I feel honoured to have been present as you delivered it in Tralee. I loved it then and I loved it again today. Fantastic talk that I believe people need to hear. Thank you.
Pausing before we respond, inclusion creates united, difference between education and indoctrination.. so many great nuggets of wisdom in this TedX Talk. Fantastic message Dave!
Absolutely awesome insights Dave. Thank you for providing these. So critically important these days. All about transformation. Transformation = an internal shift that brings us in alignment with our highest potential.
Dave that was the honest and courageous talk. I remember amygdala from our leadership coaching. So true Indoctrinated people divide based on 1% of differences than unite based on 99% of the similarities. Kudos to you.
An excellent talk, Dave. I wish everyone could hear it. Congratulations to you and to TEDxTralee. It is so exciting that TEDx is continuing to inspire and enlighten in the Tri-Valley region and beyond.
Dave, very wise words and simple ways to practice that collectively used by enough people can indeed move the needle forward to unity rather than division. Every ripple counts. Thank you.
Great message Dave, and much respect to you for taking the time to learn about the cultural conditioning that you were exposed to and thinking critically about what you had been taught your whole life.
Dave - awesome delivery and message so relevant to how we show up and receive people, especially in these current times of division and hatred...Bravo...

Bravo! You did a wonderful job conveying an important message. As an experienced communications professional, I am a big proponent of "the pause." So much miscommunication and subsequent conflict could be avoided. Thank you!
Cultural conditioning is so real. I grew up being completely absorbed by prejudices without even realising it. More of us need to take a look at how we were raised and what beliefs may be completely wrong.
Dave, I just love your talk. It's such an important one, especially in these times, and coming from your unique perspective. You had me the first time I heard it! This is my 3rd time watching it, and I will be watching it again and again. There are so many aspects about it that I find so compelling - including how you shifted your perspective, the science, the impact of inclusion, and the pause for a few seconds. Wonderful stuff!
I need to play this talk every week - Dave Osh has a powerful message for us all and most importantly a practical strategy for overcoming cultural conditioning. His life story shows both huge courage and humility - the courage to tell his story and the humility to change. A truly great talk.

You really made me stop and think, Thank you!
We should all stop and think.
Ainsley is the best teacher!
So they say...
Sure we are all somewhat shaped by where we come from, but that doesn't remove our power to choose how we think and act.
Some have the power. Some not.
The break down of how our brain works was interesting... I'm going to start pausing all the time, maybe I'll even stop using word wiskers.
That's a good start
Ainsley sounds like an amazing woman.
Oh, YES!
Culture conditioning is so dangerous, it makes us judge others
It can be dangerous. It can be wonderful. It all depends on the context. Thank you for sharing.
@@DaveOsh good point. Thanks Dave
