Outstanding video guys thanks! On many older models such as my 1988 Honda HawkGT these diaphragms are no longer available! I'll be placing an order with JBM today and coming back to review this when the work needs to be done! I appreciate the time you guys took to make this for us!

Should have showed the restricted diaphram action when pushing slide in and observing the slow extention back ro rest position this checkes the seal installation integrity. If it returns back to rest rapidly, theres an issue in sealing or positioning cover, and diaphram relationship. Otherwise excellent video and thanks.
This is exactly what I came here to say. I overhaul a ton of keihn carbs and after the slide always slide nice, smooth and easy… Most aftermarket cheap carbs I overhaul are literally like spring loaded and shoots back down. Always thought that was never good nor quality

I know this is a super old comment, but for anyone else reading - JBM recommends directly on their website that you replace all of them at once to promote consistency in the system
Hi, To my experience and understanding, you don't have to remove the top ring, it's only to reinforce the diaphragm from sliding off from above, you can rotate the ring easily, and it's not holding on to rubber. Only the bottom plastic ring is holding tight to the diaphragm. Instead of sliding the diaphragm from the top, you can slide it gently from the bottom holding slide upside down and bring it to its original top position. One thing I am confused about is the bottom plastic ring. I think it has an important role since it works as a spacer for inner side of the slide seat probably to stop gas leakage coming in contact with a diaphragm. What do you guys think?

What loctite was used to glue the diaphragm please?
What were those carbs off of?
I have 2 bad diaphrams on my 84 V65, if I am going to put the JBM diaphrams on can I do the 2 bad ones or should I replace all 4?
Thanks
