    When it comes to pricing, like any other retailer, the dealership can choose how much of a markup they want to add to their cost, and thereby, how much profit they'll make. I ordered a bottle of gear oil for my Camaro from one Chevy dealership and they charged me $40. I happened to then go to another dealership for something else and decided to pick up an extra bottle of the exact same oil. That dealer charged me literally half what the first dealer charged me!

    • @PolishBullitt
      @PolishBullitt  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That is crazy to me that they can do that, I get few bucks this way or that way cause of different city taxes or something, but half price on oil filters or instead of 229$ for trans fluid change they charge you 329$?! It’s ridiculous!

    1. A recall for the sensor has to be addressed. 2. Finding a GOOD dealership is key if you intend on having these cars. I'm glad it all worked out, but now I wash my car w/ a pressure washer, and i have an undercarriage washer, but avoid under the engine since the knock sensor is down there. Happened to me once where I had the issue, and pray it doesn't happen again.

    Man it scary how dealers are drastically different from each other. My axles needed to be replaced and the dealer near me said that it’s not covered under warranty because it was replaced a year before. So I went back to the original dealer that replaced my axles, they didn’t give me any trouble and replaced them once again under warranty and gave me a $250 discount on brake change and fuel service cleaning. Mind you, both dealerships are owned by the same company. Absolutely wild

    It's crash how Hyundai treat their customers. You're right, some dealerships will work with you and others, terrible. It took them 9 months to fix my car. 1 engine rebuild that went terrible then got approved for a new engine and my third turbo. Sounds like incredible deal, but how hard was it hit? If you think everything seems to be ok then you can try, honestly warranty is always good, but like in my situation so far I only had knock sensor problem and if you handy you can buy one for around 120$ probably and change it yourself. I know a lot of people got different problems with their cars but dealers are playing stupid too just so they can avoid fixing your car. Hard decision not gonna lie but it might be worth it cause if you want to buy one with that mileage it will cost you probably around 30k

    I'd never the undercarriage car wash...The car's other electronic are also going to get hit with high pressure water (e.g abs). My EN only gets hand wash (at coin washer) and no swirls ( need to make sure brush is cleaned before using it). My 2023 has 52000km and no issue with knock sensors.

    • @PolishBullitt
      @PolishBullitt  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That’s great brother and I hope you not gonna have that issue, mine knock sensor survived basically 40k miles I use undercarriage especially in winter to remove as much salt as possible, during summer it’s mostly coin wash and buckets

    • @nigel_white
      @nigel_white 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Under car wash is a must if you live in regions where they salt the roads or you drive on dirt roads a lot. It makes a huge difference with preventing undercarriage rust. The vehicle electronics should be more than capable of withstanding the car wash spray. It just looks like Hyundai is having issues getting some of these sensors sealed up properly during manufacturing.

    • @PolishBullitt
      @PolishBullitt  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

The dealership has a girl in the service department that is so shitty I won't take my car there anymore unless I have to and I took the dealer plate covers off the car bc I hate them so much.
