- If you are seeking an authentic Bangkok experience then a visit the the Klong Bang Luang / Bang Chak Temple community should be on your bucket list. In this video we will explore The Artist House / Baan Silapin บ้านศิลปินคลองบางหลวง and the amazing authentic community that sits directly on the canal.
The Artist’s house is an amazing experience! However, the journey to get here combined with exploring the small alleys and canals will be one of your best memories of Bangkok!
Every Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm there is an amazing puppet show! I will give you directions how to get here on Bangkok MRT train ( Bang Phai station ) While visiting this community, it is easy to combine a visit to nearby wat pak nam phasi charoen. This is one of my very favorite things to do in Bangkok!

Both Thai girls at the Artist’s house are so friendly.
You are absolutely correct! They are wonderful 👍🙏
I always love the canals show because it is reminds me of my home towns but my canals home towns town is khlong samsam makkasan ratchathew Bangkok I was born here more than seventy years ago I'm delighted to see the almost look like my oldest canals where I used to live for twenty years. I'm currently living in new England of the united States. More than fifty years now. I appreciate you for your videos It very relaxing to watching your Bangkok canals ideo an excellent job.
Thank you so much for your kind comments! What a coincidence! I left New England ( Boston, Vermont, and Montréal) to live directly on the Phra Khanong canal. I absolutely love it! I am uploading a new video in few days! Hope you watch and share with others… 🙏🙏🙏

Lovely video. Friend narration. Superb choice of place. Beautiful camera angles. As a Bangkokian, thanks for showing the impressive artist’s house along the peaceful canal, where I have never been before.
The girl’s Thai name “Pu-gun” means “artist’s paintbrush”. The other girl’s name “Ta-wan” means “The sun”. They both are so

Hi, thank you for your great video.
Do you have any idea how to get to Artist house from the city (Pratunam) via the canal? I prefer to pass by the Giant Buddha.
Thank you.
I made this video last year about artist house- take MRT as I described in video. Then once at Artist house, can hire / barter a canal boat to take you by Wat Paknam. Or contact Hidden Bangkok tours for a full canal tour
