Drake of The 99 Dragons is actually a great game filled with deep, rich, textured lore that is difficult not to become immersed in. The pinpoint controls are hard to get the hang of, but once you do you'll be rewarded with a gaming experience like no other.
This game is 3rd on my Top 5, right between Okami in 2nd and Eminem in 4th.

Who else remembers that one video from like 2011 (I think it was Matt's apartment tour? I could be wrong) where Matt gets a package in the mail and you see this game's box art peeking out when he starts to open it and the video cuts off? ...Anyone?
Goddamnit that ending was amazing. It's rare that people cheer for the enemies to win out of hatred for the game. Liam got farther than anyone ever before.
just imagine matt's funeral. COMP comes blasting in, as they start to cover his rad punisher coffin with dirt, and a rustling is heard deep in the hole. Matt's body snaps awake, new life was brought on by the pure hatred and salt that COMP invokes in his corpse, but then something stops his rebirth for a second. He sees a box on his face, Drake of the 99 Dragons. This causes his rage to grow to Pat levels, and then beyond. his coffin explodes out of the ground with a radiant light, bathing all in attendance with its splendor. Matt has revived, but hes changed became the spirit of vengeance. One other being was changed by the light, Zach his faithful companion, turned into his magnificent fuzzy steed. They take off to fight the injustice of the bad video games, first on his list of retribution.

What is Stranger's Wrath you ask? A scifi western where you play as a bounty hunter who uses fucking animals as his weapons, and then his entire mechanic changes halfway through the game.
They were more specifically talking about launch titles. Stranger's Wrath is great though.

Don Simard Stranger's Wrath was one of my favorite games on OG xbox, and my dad and I were big fans of the Oddworld series.

I don't believe that, and for a very specific reason: Matt Kowalski is the name of George Clooney's character in Gravity. Way back in 2013, everyone in the Best Friends Podcast mentioned seeing it, and no one made a single joke about that connection (despite Matt making jokes about the overall movie in later videos).
Alex Morozov He's stated in podcasts and LP's that it's not pronounced "Ko Alski" and that everyone technically mispronounces his name in that way.

Huh, that is pretty definitive. Plus, going back and listening to that particular podcast, none of the guys seem particularly excited about the movie, so it's entirely possible they just didn't hear that name. Which is a shame, because they've made 10-minute long jokes based on a lot less then that.

I just realized something: Drake is the biggest dork of an assassin I've ever seen in my entire life.
Drake seems to have difficulty shooting people behind cover. And across distances. And directly in front of him. In fact, Drake seems to have great difficulty hitting ANYTHING.
I like how "Episode #001" Implies that there are hundreds of games in this box.
Damn, I've been waiting for them to play this game. It was nice of Matt to tease this game on their Skyrim video. Clearly everyone was hype out this and not the game that they were "supposed" to play.
