Great video game tracks bring back great memories of playing the games, thus triggering some very, very powerful emotions. They almost always make me tear up, and it's damn near uncontrollable.
I never finished this game, and only played it a couple of times. However it left a mark on me, as whenever I hear this song I get flashbacks of the game itself.
This is exactly how I feel! I was so young when I first played it and never made it out of the first town. After that, I'd pick up the game only to run around in town and listen to the music.
It's been in my head all day I didn't remember where I heard it. Then I thought: Illusions of Gaia? O_o I was write. Gosh, I played this game for the last time in 1999 or something.
duke nukem Yeah, it's a really underrated and beautiful game. Managed to grab a cartdrige recently, it plays and feels just as good than when I was 4. Playing those old Enix and Squaresoft games makes you wonder how SquareEnix can be that bad.
@JenovaMember Heh, I didn't go in and out of the cave, I went in and out of Seth's house and if he could be seen by going straight down to the wall, I went back into Seth's house and went right back out.
Such a great game... With great gameplay, and a great (if really depressing story) fantastic music... And REALLY lousy design choices. When exactly does that fisherman pull the red jewel out of the water in south cape, anyway?
I told my Daughter this is what i use to play at my nana's and papa's. She said i want to play it to. Proud gamer dad :D
Now challenge her to Street Fighter Alpha 2 on SNES

this song makes me cry, so much nostalgia

JMFSpike this soundtrack makes me remember my childhood, me watching my brother trying to beat those two bosses with the giant bomb
Similar to "Guardia Fair" in Chrono Trigger, in many ways. The idealized memorey of the last moment of normalcy before everything goes haywire.
God. Better times.
Magnolia 😊
Good memorys back when games captured immagination i miss games like these

"Y yo no lo vi venir, yo creía que los dos llegaríamos hasta el fin, más no lo fue así." Presentes los fans de Los Magnolia y Los No Me Olvides.
Everytime I read comments about people that played this game, and kinda felt the same way I did, it makes my fucking day/week/month.
The Fire Emblem hack 'Storge' has a remix of this music track in its recruitment hub. Wish someone were to upload that to TH-cam.

Have you ever realized that the first note of this music has been used has a ringtone on SO MANY phones ? :
...No. Please elaborate.
Lol 4 years after I read my comment again and try hard to remember which ringtone I was thinking about... I'll let you know after I remind haha
My favourite town theme ever. End of story.
I never forget this soundtrack since i was a kid. :D
Such an amazing song. Best in the game!!
Very catchy and heartfelt. I'll have to say the whole soundtrack was great. A few off the top of my head is Larai Cliff, In the Earthen Womb
I love this song!!!♥️♥️
My childhood right here.
😁 be a great wedding song 😁
I miss my childhood... and i still love this game :)
This song has been on my head for a month now and I've been whistling it around college. I wonder if anyone'll recognize it...
Fantastic
@vibearato I hear ya this song has been in my head for about 12 years and i finally remembered what game it was from :D
Feels like walking down a busy street on a sunny day.

Really? Nobody mentioned Pachebel once in the comments...
fire emblem storge
For me its a toss up between this and 'Kids Run Through the City" from FFVI. This song is fantastic, though.
Sounds even better without those bird sounds.
Top 3 material and CGR didn't even rank it...
