Whole egg 全蛋 2(55g+- per egg)
Caster sugar 细砂糖 80g / 1/3cup
Whipping cream 鮮奶油 200ml
Vanilla extract 香草精 1/2tsp
Cake flour 低筋面粉 120g / 10Tbsp
Baking powder 泡打粉 3g / 1tsp
Almond meal 杏仁粉 40g / 1/3cup
Pan size 长模 23x5x8cm
Bake at 180°C / 350°F for 30-35 minutes
摄氏180 / 华氏350 烘烤 30-35分钟

I made it today, using circular cake mold without Almond meal. It was really delicious. Thanks Apron
May I ask if you replaced the almond meal with cake flour (making it 160 g) or simply skipped the almond meal and kept the cake flour as the original recipe?

I just tried this recipe and it was AMAZING! Fluffy cake not dry at all, i used a whisk to get the egg creamy and no almond meal, I substitute it with cake flour(all purpose flour with cornstarch)
May I ask the quantity of the flour and cornstarch. I don’t have almond meal as well
Boitumelo Rapudi I got a cup of normal flour and took some tablespoons of it and added some cornstarch and from that I got my base for the cake and also to replace the almond meal! Hope this helps
