Before trying this recipe, I scrolled down the comments for the recommended pan & somewhere found Katherine's reply of 8"x 8" round or 7"x7" square. So I went with 8"x 8" round, and I also did not have corn starch available, hence adding APP flour instead (also found this as suggestion reply by Katherine in commentsbut with no suggested amount). Baked it, the house was so aromatic with butter and cheese smell filling the air. The skewer test came out clean! After cooling overnight, upon cutting the cake, I found the top kinda hardened slightly, and sadly, the bottom part of the cake appeared to be still wet and not well baked throughly. Taste was perfectly delicious and quite rich.
I tried this and it came out awesome!!! Right amount of sweetness, but i added bit more cheese. Make sure to evenly sprinkle the parmesan. It makes for good presentation and a nice cheese crust. I made this in a mixer. I didn't follow the 'add last egg with flour' thing. Came out fine. Would make again!!!

Can I use low protein flour instead of plain flour and cornstarch? May I know what type of milk you use, is it fresh milk, evaporated milk or condensed milk becoz you didn’t specify. Thank you.
In fact, it's the opposite effect. Addition of corn flour is to make the cake tender and lighter. U can try Google how to replace all purpose flour with cake flour (it's by adding corn flour to all purpose flour in order to replace cake flour). Hopes this help to clarify)
