I just changed my fuel filter on my e30 m20 engine and the car ran before but after changing the filter it won’t start. Anyone have any ideas? Yes I triple checked I put it in the correct way haha
you may have just help me find an issue with my e30, it would start crank twice then die like when you took the fuse oue, so it's either the fuse the fllter or a clog in the line.
Some how I ended up here cuz of my e30 fuel pump issues and noticed at one time we both had an e30 and the same civic. Last week I was looking to add another car and was looking into a CRV.... 😵💫
No way!!! What year CRV are you looking at? I love mine and it’s an absolute champ. It costs more to run my M3 in one month than than my CRV in 15 years. 🤯
Great!! Thank you. My idle has always been wanky. A BMW tech tells me it’s the 274 cam. I have a chip in it and just doesn’t seem to be able to compensate. I’m not sure where to go with it as I’ve been trying to fix my idle for years. I think I might turn while thing in the fall. Thanks for watching!!!!!!
Nah the old one was definitely facing the right way. I was actually watching this video to verify that mine was installed correctly since Im running into a fuel issue. Unfortunately/fortunately I did install it correctly.

Yes I am. Where in AZ are you? Thanks for watching and sorry for the late reply. - Tom
What size hose did you get to attach from filter to fuel lines and also from tank to filter?
Great question. I’m not sure but I can find out for you.
OEM fuel hose size is 8x13mm but you can use 5/16” as a suitable alternative

I like to twist the hose to beak the seal then slide it off
Nice to know. Thanks for sharing. I always appreciate everyone’s experiences. Thanks for watching!
It almost looks as if the filter was put in backwards with the arrow of the new filter facing in the opposite direction of the old filter.
