    I really wish it was 30 inches deep and 60 inches at least wide. But I just love the drawer, glass top, and controls.

    Hi, which arm are you using to hold the LCD? I also bought a same table as yours but hard to find an arm for it. Thank you

    Nice review! Subbed aswell! love the pc tower btw looks sick. The flexispot does look like a good addition, especially if you are hours on end behind a pc working.

    Hi, would this work with a treadmill underneath it as it has a connecting bar at the bottom?

    Is the monitor arm secure on there? The underside of the back of the desk has only a rim of metal and it’s not all the way solid, so I was wondering if the c-clamps are able to get enough grip to stay secure

    • @DeviceEnforcer
      @DeviceEnforcer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yes, that's definitely a concern, but I've found that you can cut a piece of wood the same thickness as the back rim to use as a shim. That way you can extend the available surface area for the clamp to interface with, which fixes the problem.

  • @McMoffel

    Is the monitor arm still in place? Didn’t it break or damage the glass? I want the same setup with one monitor but I’m afraid for the glass

    • @DeviceEnforcer
      @DeviceEnforcer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The monitor arm is still attached, and hasn't caused any damage, but this is a version of the desk with a wood top rather than the glass top. I'd imagine that the monitor arm would be fine with the glass top as well though, since it came with a foam pad that sits between the table surface and the metal clamp/base of the arm.

      @@dylanbradshaw8158 no, unfortunately I didn’t. I checked out this desk in the store and thought the 60cm depth was too short. I rather wanted a 80cm depth desk. I’ve never found a concluding answer on the monitor arm

    Unrelated but interesting you have an armless chair. Is there an advantage to that compared to one with arm support? Not too tiring?

    • @DeviceEnforcer
      @DeviceEnforcer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, the only reason I have that chair is that it's an old one I used to use in college. My bedroom in the apartment was too small to use a chair that I couldn't fully push in under the desk, so I opted for one that didn't have arms to make it easier.

  • @mihonkenji5423
    @mihonkenji5423 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you for the review! When you slide the chair in, would the chair leg hit the bottom beam brace? that's my only concern now.

    • @DeviceEnforcer
      @DeviceEnforcer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the chair can definitely hit the brace if you push the chair in far enough. With the chair shown in the video, it gets to about 3" away from being fully pushed in before it gets stopped, so it's not too big of an issue for me. A larger issue for me personally involving that bar is that it makes it very difficult to vacuum the area behind the desk.

  • @captinkang
    @captinkang 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Would you be able to tell the clearance height from the floor to that bottom beam? I’m wondering if you could fit a ‘under the sofa’ or ‘desk’ treadmill under that. Thanks!

    • @DeviceEnforcer
      @DeviceEnforcer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm measuring on the carpet, so it's not an exact measurement, but there is right around 3" from the floor to the bottom of the brace.

  • @superseiyan
    @superseiyan 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    After having used it, how is the wobble during normal usage especially side-by-side? Also curious if any wire management solutions in these desks or other advice if not.

    • @DeviceEnforcer
      @DeviceEnforcer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It doesn't really wobble at all during normal usage, especially now that it has settled in place in the carpet. It has held up pretty well in terms of side-to-side wobble as well. While there is no built-in cable management, I was able to fit cable ties between the desk surface and the underlying metal frame, which has worked quite well to deal with the cables.

  • @jeboyzs
    @jeboyzs 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi! I got mine yesterday. I'm just asking how you managed to set your cables as I saw no accessories for cables in their website for comhar.

    • @DeviceEnforcer
      @DeviceEnforcer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I found that there was enough of a gap between the tabletop surface and the metal frame to slide a Velcro cable tie through. Basically, all the cables and the power strip are just strapped to the metal frame with those ties.

    How has it held up this past year?

    • @DeviceEnforcer
      @DeviceEnforcer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has held up pretty well, the only thing I have noticed that didn't last was the adhesive used to hold the power supply to the bottom of the desk, and that was only because I cable managed it into a line with other cables that added too much weight for the adhesive to hold. Other than that, it seems the same as the day I recorded this video.
