Beautiful.... the games around the lake are innovative and interesting. No doubt, the young photographer is locked to the camera ☺

Hi! I have been following your video, first I must say your videos are so informative. I will be in interlaken next month. I need to ask you regarding the BLS regional pass, I ll be staying in bern for 3 days and I ll be visiting Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald and Brienz. I will be there for 3 days. Will your recommend me the BLS regional pass? Or any other alternative. Thank you

Hi.. thanks for watching. BLS regional pass is a good option, but remember that you have to pay a €99 surcharge for the section Eigergletscher to Jungfraujoch. If you don't plan on visiting Jungfraujoch, then the BLS regional pass covers a lot of other attractions (don't miss the Oeschinensee, Brienzer Rothorn steam train, ferry on Lake Brienz/ Thun etc).

Thanks for watching...yes, the ferry does stop at Iseltwald. Ensure that you check the timings of the next connection, as these ferries don't run as frequently as the trains.

Would you mind telling where u stayed and how to save on staying in Grindelwald please.?

We booked the holiday home with Airbnb. Grindelwald is generally expensive, but you could get (relatively) cheaper accomodation at the Youth Hostel (if you are ok to stay in a shared 4 or 6 bed dormitory). You could also check out the Youth Hostel in Interlaken.

@The So-Called Travel Expert no i want all our own. I have kids and we r 2 adults. Airbnb what do u suggest how far should i book it?
As u said yes grindelwald is expensive. There is mountail eiger hostel but dnt think its that good. Please if you can help me more. I am checking on airbnb now a days for August its coming mire then £1000 for 4 days.

~£200/ night is in the expected range for Airbnb in Grindelwald (the high cleaning costs & service fees also contribute to this). The Interlaken youth hostel also has family rooms (4 bed private) which cost ~175-200CHF/ night (2 adults+2 children). Check out their website. It is located right next to Interlaken Ost train station.

@The So-Called Travel Expert thank you so much that you reply so quickly. What do you suggest how many days or month before should i book? Can it be cheaper if i book 4 or 6 weeks earlier or now for August?

I would suggest booking as early as possible. Else, you might end up in a situation where even the Youth Hostel rooms are not available, and only the expensive accommodations are remaining/available.
