Eric Just want to say thanks for the post and words of encouragement! 6 months post-opp. Still have nightmares of the day I had the rapture. Was difficult seeing all that muscle and years of hard work disappear in a few days. But we keeping faith and keeping the Head high! Keep it up!

I remember subscribing to your channel when my patellar tendon broke, (it’s been four years too, my surgery was in November 2019) I was told I was not going to skate never again and now 3 years later I’m skating better than ever and I even started going to acrobatics classes. My knee is not the same and I my quadriceps is still small but I’m working on it. And I recovered all my range of movement. For all of you who feel that you are never going to be able to play sports again or feel normal: you will. Stay strong and stick to the physical therapy, never stop working out 💪

At 6 weeks tomorrow. I'm so far ahead and it is frustrating. Doc saw me at 4 weeks and cleared me to drive (right leg surgery). I can bend to 110 and do straight leg lifts without the brace on. I want to start week 8 stuff like you did in week 6 but PT can't make that call and I don't see the surgeon for another couple weeks. Thanks for the videos. Good to see someone very similar to me that has gone through it. I'm 36 and ruptured mine playing basketball. Been lifting and staying active for decades, and I have no doubt I'll get back to it though probably won't be grabbing rebounds off the rim anymore.

@@juneshsidhu9238 I feel ya pain.. in the early days trying to take a shit is difficult enough. Honestly mate, life seems dull right now but you’ll get back. I was walking about with no help as normal after about 8weeks. After 6 months I was jogging small distances. One year I was able to barbell squat 80% of what I did before. 1 year on I ran 10k with only slight knee pain. After a year I was able to do everything I did prior.:.. I’d say the only thing that I notice is some slight aching when it’s cold, and the range of movement (heels to ass is not as before) and I’m just a little cautious about certain activities, like football I use to play, but I see it as too risky now so take it carefully.. you’ll get back though, keep you head up. Best advice I can give you early on is try and bend those legs as much a possible to get your range back, even when it hurts keep doing it, my only regret is I think I should have done more of that early on. Hope this helps.

I'm almost 7 months post op and I had a little scare last week. Never felt a true tweak in my knee but after a normal PT workout and night at work, I woke up and my knee was hurting bad and very swollen. It subsided after a week but it scared me enough to go see my doc and get xrays/MRI's done. I saw a new doc and he said there are very small tears, however it's not enough for him to go in and reconstruct my tendon all over again. Your videos have helped me a lot with my injury, on my bad days you've kept me optimistic. I'd appreciate some feedback, have you ever had set backs? If so how'd you deal with them?
