Because it gon be suck without him for the rest of the season😩😩
Mee too
Me too😢
Right on queue.
Me waiting on a acl surgery next month
A lot of people are very intimidated by this surgery but a lot of footballers can actually come back from it just fine. Livramento and Wirtz both had ACL reconstructions and are absolutely flying.
Also, you don't necessarily need to harvest from the patella - you can use the quadriceps tendon or hamstring tendon. The tendons (unlikely the ligament) actually do grow back.
so ligaments can't grow or adjusted?
@@hgjnvgh4291yes but it’s gonna limit ur activity’s
the quadriceps is the strongest one?
@@cautarepvp2079I tore my acl during basket practice at school, I got surgery back in December my doctor used my quadricep tendon to make my new acl now it’s April and I’m already back to jogging and playing basketball not 100% but I’m back out there. They say the patella tendon is the go to but my doctor recommended I do the quad graft.
Holy shit, how weak does that leave the patellar?
Trust me very weak, when you hurt your knees you are never the same, after surgery you lose a lot of mobility and strength in mma this injury is very common
@@animatronix5676fuck then im doomed if i wanna compete
The pattellar will regenerate but it will never be the same. The acl also will not be as strong. There is approximetelly 20-30% chance you will tear acl again anyway, thats why lot of people stop doing sports after this injury.

Brutal. Not just physically, mentally challenging,.frustrating. goodluck yea
Had mine 2 weeks ago and man it sucks
Ruined my cousins career as premier league player. Just made it onto the first team for Chelsea and BAM ACL tear. Out for a year. Then comes back and tears both hamstrings on different occasions. Out again during when he gets put into the squad. Then gets released 😢
ACL really brutal 😢
I got a acl tear about a week ago and now I need to get surgery next year because my bones are to young
We wish you well on your healing journey
Bro how did it happen??
Bud is you good now?
I got hit by a car on my motorized bicycle a few days ago, they said it could possibly be an ACL tear. I'm getting an MRI tomorrow. I've been recovering fast and can now walk with little to no pain just a limp. I'm hoping for the best.
Did you have surgery?
@@edwrdjp3332I had the operation
I come of my bike and they said it could be a acl tear I coildent walk on it at all for 2 days or move or a lot lost all of motion but I’m 6 days in now can walk on it with a limp still have my crutch as doctor said don’t bear full wait for long so just building up but I got a specialist appointment in 2 weeks so I shall see then only thing is don’t get paid sick pay 😔
im about to get this done in a few weeks and im so scared…
It’s scary but you got it bro! I tore mine playing football in the XFL and will say the first few weeks are tough but with a good rehab routine and physical therapy you will heal fine!
@@ACE8x_ thank you so much man fr your kind words are helping me out🙏🏼

I'm also about to get this done in 3 days.. I'm too scared of this

I had this exact surgery done..plus bucket handle meniscus tear..had flexion right after surgery.started walking again a month and half after surgery with no assistance..started therapy next day after surgery..now working on regaining back my strength 😅on my leg as is still slightly smaller than the other
this is BTB graft, not a hamstring graft for those who are planning on doing this surgery
Me here after Naymar tore his ACL 😢
Me looking at this video the night after we played football like it was a world Cup
I got the repair done, quicker recovery but higher chance of tearing again. Need a video on that
How's is it a higher chance to re tear ot again?
Amazing and very interesting ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
So glad my doctor said he wanted to use my quadricep tendon instead of this, imagine how weak your knees are gonna be😂
My surgery just finished 3 weeks ago
Not to afraid. Feel pain for almost 2 weeks and then it backs to normal and the key thing after acl surgery is physiotherapy
What strip that was
Bro no way there’ll be a gap in the patellar to replace acl
very clear❤Thank you🙏
Don't fall asleep first at the sleepover
Medicine is incredible.
During summer I had this creepy leg injury I thought it was a acl tear but it was growing pains and I was crying was praying it wasn’t an acl tear so I went to the doctor the other day and doctor checked my knee and she said it’s growing pains
Was it an acl tear or no
@@alexm3792 no
@@alexm3792 but I ruptured my achilles
Basically this is just carpentry work
I have hit from the car when I was ride scooter 5 months ago. In desember my doctor will surgery my acl. It’s make me stressful because I hear from other people can’t walk normal until more than 6 months.
Amezing !
What is the percentage of success of this procedure ??? 😢😢😢
Reconstruction has a 90- 95% success rate with similar rates between patellar and hamstring grafts
Thats freaking crazy
Ive been trying to get this surgery for about 2 years now i just cant seem to financially make it happen, im about to go find a gang surgeon and pay him 10 grand and get it done
I believe there is a possibility that it heals itself. Ive got the same challenge.
@@EarthOfAlexBlood doesn't flow into the ACL, If You've a full tear you're done
You can live without it. Go to a good Physical Therapist. Tell them your circumstance. They’ll give you a better understanding of what you are capable of

@@EarthOfAlexit's dangerous to leave it untreated. Your other ligaments will compensate for the lack of ACL but you'll just put stress elsewhere

@@ayunizuzun9872 yeahhhh seems like he won’t be able to dance for this whole yr 🥲
Graft from semitendinosus and gracilis 😊
Why did you remove a part of the other ligament?
When an ACL is ruptured, it requires a ligament graft to be reconstructed. There are different options for where that may be taken from. This shows a patellar graft - other options include hamstring, or donor grafts from a cadaver.
Hello... Today i got an injury which is something like this only
My leg got side bended while celebrating my goal and suddenly i feel an immense pain while landing on the ground
Tomorrow i've appointed for the check lets see what will happen i'll notify you guys in the reply section
Fuckin hurts😂
I am afraid, some days ago I injured Now I don't know what happen
Hey plx reply
My mother has a ligament tear completely...and it has been approx 1 yr to this ...can we do surgery now
Yes, it is possible. However a delay of more than six months increases the risk of further damage and degeneration of the involved knee.
So cool
So what are the chances that by just living I tear my acl cus sometimes moving myego I ways makes me scared
don't worry about it! I tore my acl by just running. Honestly no one knows, but why worry about it when you haven't torn yours yet! Just keep exercising and keep your legs strong to prevent the chance but don't worry about it!
Probably 98% it won’t happen by just chilling. Unless you sit in some fucked up positions lol
It usually happens if your knees have to support more weight than usual like landing after a jump or running
Poor drose man
Music awsome
Thank you!
ACL cire gele surgery cara ki chola chol kora jay
Courtois…
This is the third time i tore this😑
Are you ok now?
So can I play football after this surgery or not
Conservative return to sport is usually advised after 9 months of healing. Some accelerated approaches aim for six months but several factors must be considered including: objective examination data, a return-to-sport or functional testing battery, biological tissue healing, psychological readiness, demands of the sport, and patient-specific factors such as concomitant injuries and comorbidities.

wym? the injury or the surgery? the injury hurts, but you will not feel anything the day after if tou take the right preventions, wear a band, put ice in the zone to prevent swelling, move the knee the less you can
if tou talk about the surgery, i found the anesthesia the more painful thing lol

Doesn't the ligament repair itself?
No that’s why you get surgery
@@user-iy9ve8zq8k IDK, sometimes surgery adds a lot of trauma and just makes things worse. I would rest and support the knee with a brace and let things heal.
a fully torn acl cannot repair itself or reconnect itself. if it was not a complete tear, maybe. but yes, some people decide to not go with an acl reconstruction surgery and do intensive physical therapy (again, this won’t heal the acl, but will ensure your muscles are strong enough to support your knee despite the lack of an acl) - i am sure pros and cons with both options and depends on your lifestyle what you will go with
It doesn't heal itself. Your other ligaments will compensate for the lack of ACL but you'll just be putting stress elsewhere, and it can cause other long term damages.
@@nonav.968 I found this video and there are more videos that claim yes the ACL can heal without surgery. The bigger the tear the longer it takes. Looks like say athletes who are wanting a quick fix will opt for surgery because who know how long healing takes. Otherwise I agree -- a knee injury can affect the rest of the muscles in the body. I injured some ligament in my knee and could not bear any weight for 3 days. Two weeks later am back to walking 2 miles almost every day - The knee still hurts but not more so after walking. Yep, all my other muscles are sore.
Wtf?
