I am officially back in London after spending the last couple of weeks with my boyfriend before he went back to the US for work (for the first time since March 2020!!!!) so I am jumping head first into creating content from here on out.

Of all the cast members of the show, I think Tobie was probably the perfect one to do this. His enthusiasm and likeability and good humor make him an ideal behind-the-scenes vlogger (as does the fact that he is not in as many scenes and therefore has a little more time to film).
I love these vlogs because they look so natural and you can tell they've become friends. It's nice to see the cast sharing on and off set.
It is something, when you think about it, how obscure the young actors were. The only ones people might recognize were Sebastian Croft, who's been in loads of TV, and Kit Connor, who had a small role in the Elton John biopic Rocketman, and was a voice actor in His Dark Materials.

the vlogs do get more and more interesting as they go. i can’t wait to watch you react to vlogs 5-9 because those are the absolute best. vlog 5 is my all time fave just because yaz had me laughing the whole time

A day? A DAYYY?!! I got to be an extra last year for a show coming out this year for two weeks and it still wasn’t enough!! I never wanted it to end! I LOVED the 12 hour days, hanging out with some people I knew who also got to be extras! Lots of sitting around between takes and being silly. I even got to talk to a girl whose sole income was doing nothing but extras work! (She was an extra in the Walking Dead almost it’s entire run.) I haven’t had any luck getting more acting gigs yet but I’m still pushing! :)

Mask are still very much a thing in my city, you are required to wear them in most stores and public transportation. But there are a lot of people who don't follow those rules.
its was so speical i love how things went iam 100% fan of heartstopper i cant waitw for season 2 i do understand the facts and i love all the cast keep up the good work i have been watching heartstopper over and over i love it so much iam going to watch it again. i dont care if people are bi or gay because they are hurman beans . people who is bi or gay u have my 100% support.

Since you’re interested in photography and moviemaking I’d recommend you watch the NFTS backstories with Euros Lyn and Diana Olifirova - it’s a bit geeky, but I really enjoyed how especially Diana talked about some of the visual effects and ideas in Heartstopper ❤️
i started watching this this evening and it was so, so interesting! right up my street!!
If they're smart, masks will still be a thing when they film S2. Another wave could hit any time and if somebody gets Covid you don't want it to spread to too many all at once. Especially Joe and Kit who are in almost every scene between them.
I always meant to watch these vlogs but never got around to it. So now I can with your reactions included. 2 for 1. They're so great.
104 days?!?? Damn! I know work CAN be important and satisfying in some way ...BUT 104 days???? I'm happy that you are so happy and secure, but that amount of time would drive me crazy!!!! Maybe, I'm just an old controlling jealous fart....but ....I just want you both to be happy!!!!! As for the content....yeah, right....I get to see my friend online so it's all good!!! I wish you all the happiness in the the world!!!
104 day is nothing. we’ve done longer apart before before we had separate ships or when he was in australia and i got sent home injured. 104 days is a breeze.

@@BrownsBacker it’s not easy and we miss eachother a ton but it’s what we’ve got to do right now. i’m certainly looking forward to when we settle down together but it’s a few years away yet.

Masks are coming back to certain cities in the states as the BA.5 Omicron variant has been creating many cases here. So "mandates" are coming back in full force....unfortunately for us. But another great reaction to Tobie's vlog. As you notice, he has very little of Kit Connor and a lot of Joe Locke and a lot of Kit fans were mad that Tobie didn't film much of Kit, but naturally he wouldn't early in the shooting as he didn't have many scenes with Kit. What is interesting is how out of order they film shots since they're filming all 8 episodes based on location shots. I find it funny how he got a shot of Cormac, who is really a shy, sweet kid IRL. He may be playing one of the worst characters in Heartstopper, but the actor himself is really shy, based on his interviews I've seen of him. Netflix was so kind to give Tobie all the music and intros and outros for his vlogs. Great stuff.
