Yeah it's a real arcade, people have visited it! When nick over hears charlie and Tao, the door he leans against is a door to the kitchen, not the toilets.

It's amazing that a 30 min show takes two days to film

It definitely took longer than two days to film this episode. The bowling alley scenes in the show were only 13 minutes of the episode actually (and it’s faster to film if they don’t have to change locations). And judging by how tired they were, they were probably some pretty long days!

The bathroom at the arcade wasn't off to the left, which is where the characters headed during the show. I guess they just decided that direction was the place they needed to film.

Toby filmed it and expected to post as a blog....he checked with Netflix to make sure it was okay with them....they loved it and offered to edit them more professionally with music and Heartstopper logos and such at the end. And, of course, release them at the right time when the show dropped.
