94hp, 3 cylinder, euro 5 with top speed reaching 228km/h, i can say it's pretty damn good. removing the stock exhaust made for the restricted regulations and adding a full exhaust system will probably add about more or less 10km/h + about 6-7hp with a re-maping
@@wild_minato only very top speed due to gearing. 0-140 mph the Daytona is a lot quicker though. The CBR, for an inline 4, isn’t all that impressive top end. Doesn’t give you the top end rush like other inline 4’s. It’s very smooth and pedestrian.
R7 has much slower accelleration and the real top speed is only 215 km/h, maybe slightly more downhill. Triumph speedo is much more accurate, I estimate the real speed for Daytoa is around 225 km/h, which is actually the same top speed as CBR650R. And Daytona is limited by revv limiter while CBR is limited by power, so the Daytona could probably go even a tiny bit faster.
Enough of this nonsense already…they’ve already said it a million times that this bike is not a direct replacement. It’s aimed at a different market. Either ways you won’t buy it no matter what kind of a motorcycle they launch. So stop whining!
I just finished break in period on mine and tried some top speed runs, above 170/180 kmph, when i let go off the throttle, it feels a little weird and clunky. It just doesnt sit well, not a smooth engine brake feeling. Since its my first mid size bike after 250cc, i didnt turn off the traction control, could that be the problem? Or is it the ride by wire throttle being to sensitive maybe?
I have the same issue and just came from a r3. What I've noticed is when doing those speeds and higher roll off the throttle smoothly and slowly (from what I've heard you'd have that problem with most bigger bikes letting of the throttle instantly)
@@bradbedford9606 there might be language barrier here so i try to explain another way as best as i can. In every vehicle , letting throttle quickly results in this forward leaning motion. What i felt in my bike is not that exaclty frankly it has to happen anyways… my problem is that its kind of intermitted…bike kinda goes in out of this motion. I noticed that in the video you can see a yellow light on the dash board. It seems rider turned off the traction control. Maybe thats the difference. Maybe at higher speeds you feel traction control interfering ?

@@karaagacalican Maybe you could get an ECU flash and see how it runs then. I've heard some people having problems with engine braking on the R7 and an ECU flash fixed it.
short gearing with quick acceleration and still over 200 km/h thats already overkill for 90% of rider on streets. On track maybe it on low end but who has quick access to track days anyways.
Faster than a street triple R ?!? I doubt or could be 🤔 the street triple R. Same dashboard with the Dayton kit is available in after market… and we don't see the bike when top speed's... I assure you it goes that fast like my Street triple R ! Same 0/100 same top Speed… Well, i gonna change with this "Daytona" 🤭 This bike is extrapoled from the Trident and you don't race with “that” Trident chassis, it is not the 12 HP that will make the difference since it weighs 15 kg more than the Trident, which gives it less HP/KG compared to the trident and gear box long curse in low 3 first (1,2,3) and short curse in 3 last (4,5,6)
It has much shorter gearing compared to the 675 and also greater torque and it's spread out quite well so the 660 has much better initial pull and in gear acceleration. But then it's quite lacking in the top end
Its a 3 cylinder bro, they have all the torque down low so 0-100 is very quick but they start running out of power at higher revs thats why it takes so long to go above 200

The gearing is very short
If it hits rev limit in 6th that tells me it's got a lot more top speed in it just change the sprocket
It hit the rev limiter in 6th like it was nothing. The gearing is too damn short, apparently. Minus 2 teeth in the back and you'd hit 236-ish easily
The bike definitely accelerates quite hard…

What’s crazy is acceleration, the 0-200 kmh is 4 1/2 seconds faster than the CBR650R’s sprint… impressive to say the least.

Zx4rr is gonna be much slower that this on track, the torque figures on that bike are too damn low, thats why it revs all the way up to 16k rpm

ส่วนถ้ากรณีโดนลอค ตัวอย่าง เช่นเกียร์ 1-5 ใช้รอบได้ 12,500 ทุกเกียร์
แต่พอเกียร์ 6 จะโดนลอคไม่ให้รอบวิ่งไปที่จุดกล่องตัด เช่นอาจจะ
สุดแค่ 10,000 ต่อให้ล้อลอย หรือ บนไดโน่เกียร์6 ก็จะได้แค่10,000 รอบ
ส่วนแนวทางการเพิ่มความเร็ว จะเป็นการจูนกล่องเปิดรอบมากขึ้น

How accurate is the speedo?
If it says 229 take 220 for the top and add half a second to the 0-100.
3.1 sec 100kmph is a lie. Even 765 RS cannot clock it.
More power isn’t always better off the launch. There’s a fine line between thrust and proper control…
