thank you for the clear speech and subtitles!! I wasn't looking forward to watching a video review because i have trouble comprehending verbal speech, but this was clear, precise, and didn't drag on. def getting this mouse.
This was the best review on this mouse. The other guys never discovered the horizontal scroll, and that was the deal breaker for me. Thank you for being so thorough, you'll get many more subscribers if you keep it up.
Because you discovered the horizontal wheel option, I will be giving this mouse a try. I would'nt mind if they also put the Masters scroll wheels on the vertical mouse and track balls they make.
Very detailed review. Not only talking but also showing real world usage. About this mouse, i feel disappointed Logitech removed tilt scroll wheel feature for horizontal scrolling which is available on older version. One question. Does horizontal scrolling on this mouse support Free spin mode? Does horizontal scrolling feel smooth?
I tried the MX Master 3 and found that it has no internal memory like other models. The Logi software must always be running in the background if you want to use all the functions. This is not possible or desirable with every computer. The 502 even has multiple, internal profile memories but unfortunately no BT.
Hi, first, thanks the review videos you make, nice! I am considering buying one, but there is a question I want to ask whether the horizontal scrolling (two-combination buttons) can be customized to switching tabs in chrome just like mx master 3's Thumbwheel can navigate between tabs using the new logi software Options+
Great question! You can only use the horizontal scrolling for navigating within a tab, but it's not like the Master 3 where the horizontal scroll lets you move across tabs. You can customize the side buttons in order to move to the next/previous tab, but that's the only way I've been able to do it. Maybe there is an update for Options+ that will allow you to do it eventually, but as of the writing of this comment, I'm not aware of a setting to accomplish this. Hope that helps!
i want to buy this mouse but im scared for its gaming performance, i dont need the best mouse for that but i dont want it to be too bad to play online shooter games, how about that, did you play with it
Hey! I didn’t do any gaming with it, but I wouldn’t recommend it. While it’s an amazing mouse for productivity, I think you’d be better off with a gaming mouse. The design of this one isn’t made with gaming in mind. Hope that helps!
I found it to be quite comfortable, even after being hesitant about it at first. The biggest "complaint" I have with it, specially on FCPX, is that it sometimes doesn't register the hold of the side buttons and instead acts as a click. I have mine set up for "Undo" and "Redo" so it was a minor inconvenience when it would happen. Outside of that, my hand never really got tired and and the shape of the mouse is quite great to use this function. Hope that helps!
Hi, My MX Master 3 has gotten sticky because the rubber coating has worn down even though I haven’t used it that much. Does the MX Anywhere 3 have the same rubber coating? I’m looking to get a more compact mouse, and it seems like a good option, but I’d like to avoid the same problem with the coating. Cleaning it doesn’t do the trick, rubbing alcohol supposedly wears down the rubber even more. Thanks for any input!
The Anywhere 3 also has a bit of rubber, but it's limited to the sides of the mouse and it doesn't feel like it's the same type. In the time I've been using the mouse (5-6 months) it hasn't shown any signs of wear-and-tear similar to the ones you experienced with the Master 3. And yeah, usually the rubber will be very hard to restore/clean up and it's unfortunately something I've seen turn into a permanent issue on other products. Hope that helps!
aww it's such a shame firefox is generally left out of browser-specific things. i dont mind as much because i recently got my first laptop and id switch manually between tabs with the cursor out of habit anyway.
The Bluetooth function allows it to connect to Bluetooth-enabled devices, so basically yes! I read online, though, that not all phones might be capable of connecting to a mouse (or a keyboard), so I’d check for information on your specific phone first. Hope that helps!
I just tried it with my family’s Note 20 Ultra (which should be on a similar/same software version as the A71 5G) and it worked! Screen is a little small for it, but you can do it.
no reviewer even after 2 years explained how to connect to multiple devices and how to switch between them. That only shows that every review copies each other and say the same thing.
Total shist mouse, proof is that the MXAnywhere 2 sold on Amazon is often sold at a higher price than this. Remove the left-right mouse wheel toggie, pay the price, Logitech (or Logicool, as they're branded here in Japan). I solved the crappy lack of USB-C by adding one of those magnetic charger nubs from China, they are great for devices like this. VERY SAD the company had to let us down this bad in this generation
@@hdbordercollie Yes I am saying that the Anywhere 2 is better. Add a magnetic charging cable and the Mini USB becomes as useful as USB-C. Anywhere 2 has side by side scrolling, which is done poorly in the Anywhere 3.
Thanks! I've been searching everywhere for a mouse that works on my dogs head. I've finally found one after going through so many mice!

Your review are really good. Talk about the important stuff such as battery life. I like how you time stamp important things. Keep it up.

Awesome review, all information is covered :D
Thank you for the comment, glad it was informative! 🙏🏽
Nice! I didn't know it had that many features, I think I I'll give this mouse a try!
It’s packed with features and it’s so easy to customize!
Let us know what you think if you do give it a try 🙌🏽

great review! this seems to be the 1st productivity mouse ill be buying. mx master 3 is just too expensive for my use lol
I've been switching between the 2 for the last few months, but I lean more towards this one over the MX Master 3!
Thanks for the comment 🙏🏽
hi. Can you still use the mouse, when it`s charging?
I bought one years ago. It is silent. I just bought 2 more, and both scroll wheels are noisy. Am I doing something wrong?
Is your on/off switch loose and noisy too?
good job! sold me on the mouse.
Appreciate the comment 🙌🏽
And I’m sure you’ll really enjoy it!
no dogs were harmed making this video
That’s right!
Excellent review.
Appreciate it, glad you enjoyed it! 🙏🏽
Just got mine a few minutes ago. Thanks.

is the internal battery replaceable, or does it become an expensive unusable hunk of plastic when battery life is over
No, you can't replace the battery, but can still use it as a wired mouse.

is it comfortable to use horizontal scrolling in final cut pro or similar timeline?

i don't mean to come off as a mouse snob or anything but i think this is a great mouse!
It’s pretty decent! Haha
lol that ''dog surface'' simply anywhere! :D
You know it! Haha
I don't get why no one knows about horizontal scrolling. Anyone can scroll horizontally with any mouse just by holding shift on the keyboard.

I have never used a less stable, more worthless piece of software than Logi Options
An outdated video about an outdated mouse
