I’ve been on Keto since July and have lost 70 pounds. My skin tags have shrunk, my grey hair is getting dark again(???), I cured my plantar fasciitis and my mental clarity and alertness is amazing. I’m 54 and my body is reverting to my 30 year old body. It’s amazing. My wife has lost 100 pounds, nearly nullified her PCOS and her skin looks like she’s 30 again.

ForgiveAndLove09 My wife had beautiful straight Asian hair and after 2 children her hair got oldy kinked and wavy. After becoming fat adapted on her Keto journey, her hair reset to her old healthy straight hair. You can see a line between the old and new. This way of eating never ceases to amaze me.

I have two teenage daughters. One decided she was going to address her severe acne by startng Keto. The other has done nothing to change her ways. My Keto daughter's acne has completely cleared. She had acne on her chest and back which disappeared first. We went to the dermologist for years and did every treatment with little results other than a destroyed micro biome. Once she got her biome repaired and stopped spiking her sugar the acne started clearing up. Our dermatologist told us that diet doesn't cause acne. My Carbo daughter still has severe acne. She went on a round of antibiotics which resulted in triggering eczema. Hopefully we can bring her to the other side.

I am raised in the south. 90% of our diet is carbs at some form or fashion. I have been doing keto against my doctor’s advisements for 2 years. After my 1 year check up he said continue with my diet and exercise. Numbers on my blood work went from crap to great! I didn’t take the medication I had been suggested and tried it another 6 months after they wanted me to get on drugs. BIG PHARMA is bull crap! I did it all with diet and I’m so proud of myself. My asthma, allergies to my dog, skin problems with acne (at 30 , skin tags and stomach problems have disappeared! My body works best on keto/low carb and I am so proud Dr. Kenn Berry explained why it is all working!! Thank you!!! My dad has pancreas cancer, 3 of 4 grandparents had dementia. I’m fighting it with all I have to do better and live longer!

It would have been nice for one of the yt Dr's to tell us that not a psoriasis is the same. Hand and foot psoriasis is from a bacterial infection I discovered after doing all their things that said it would fix it over the last 10 yrs. Nothing helped until I treated mine with colidial silver, and gargled with peroxide salt baking soda and distilled water. Not one of these Dr's has distinguished that there is a difference in the types of psoriasis.

I was diagnosed with rosacea. I was instantly suspicious when the dermatologist prescribed BOTH a steroid cream and an antibiotic. So I piped up during the appointment: "This pair of prescriptions tells me that you don't know what to do about this condition." He turned on his heel and walked out of the exam room.
I called a pharmacy and was told that each prescription cost between $55 and $60. I didn't fill either one.
An over-the-counter calendula preparation helped, but my rosacea didn't really go away until I'd eaten a low-carb diet for a month. Woo-hoo! All fixed, without drugs!

I too have rosacea and it improved greatly after losing over 100lbs and going low carb. Nothing prescribed to me helped in the least. It only flares somewhat when I'm stressed and even then it's not as drastic as it used to be. I never had much of the acne related to rosacea so I was lucky with that.

I’m wanna hug your neck right now!!!! I literally had an appointment with a dermatologist a few weeks ago, and point blank asked him why my psoriasis clears up when I eat keto, and he assured me the two were not linked. And I thought he was crazy!!.. A little back story, i have SEVERE plaque psoriasis. And I’ve had it for about 20 years now. I’ve had years where it’s not too bad, I’ve had years where I’ve been 90%-95% covered!! As a teenager I was put in a drug study for Enbrel, cause it was so bad, and I had been thru about every steroid cream/foam/drop/ointment/shampoo that was on the shelves. And I thought way back then Enbrel was a miracle!! I was 17, and no one ever told me this was suppressing my immune system. And at 17, I was just so happy I finally looked normal, I didn’t ask a lot of questions. Fast towards a few years. I got pregnant a few times, so I got off the medicine, and stayed pretty clear for a while. Then after 3 kids, stress took over, and my weight went up, and my psoriasis raged back!! Unknowing all the benefits of keto, I started on the diet for the first time about 3 years ago. I did it for weight loss, but I soon learned it did so much more for my body!! It was about 6-8 months in to eating keto that I noticed my skin was calming down. Need mind you, it was so flared, it hurt to move most days I was that covered, on my torso and all. Once I started noticing my skin clear, I starting doing more research on keto, and learned a lot! About how it takes the inflammatory foods away and all that goes in tail with it. Well, I did good a few years, and then we had a little thing called Hurricane Michael wile our county off the map, and I lost track of everything for a while, including my eating, and my health. And that almost 3 years I had worked on getting weight off and reversing my diabetes, and calming my psoriasis.. With in a years time, I was right back where I had started. I finally got my mind right, and got myself back on track with keto in December. 15 months after the hurricane. And I’m already down 30 lbs, and my skin is Sooo about much calmer. I’m probably only 25%-30% covered now, and I’m not irritated. The spots I have don’t hurt!! My primary doc still recommended I go to a dermatologist since it wasn’t completely clearing; so I did. And that’s why I wanna hug your neck! He told me there was no link to diet and psoriasis. And I point blank asked him, “So, why when I follow a keto diet does my skin calm down?” He literally said “Well, I’m not sure.. It does look great. But, we’ll give you 2 cream for your body, 2 scalp treatments, and this pull to take to clear it the rest of the way up” 🙄🙄 No thank you! I’m just keeping on keto, and not letting myself get off track this time. I don’t know how my diabetes is, but I feel like it’s a lot better. I get my A1c checked again in April.. Anyways, sorry this was so long! Hope you can read this, and want you to know I really appreciate your videos, your options, and your knowledge. And that you share it all with us, and the world! ❤️

I started low-carb diet, 6 months ago, then added intermittent fasting, 5 months ago; I am 75, somewhat "old." I am seeing so many improvements of my various skin conditions, like thicker skin, smoother skin, no more tags, no crocodile skin, warmer hands and shockingly hair regrow on my bald top of my head. Not yet full hair density, the skin is still visible under my hair, still short hair, but at least lots of hair on my previously totally bald top. I am sure that my internal organs are going a similar healing process. I plan to lower my carbs so to be nearer to keto; now, I eat less than 100 grams carb a day. I follow a 20 hours of daily intermittent fasting. This prove that IF and low carbs are safe for older people.

My dr wants me on Dupexent for atopic dermatitis. All she did is look at it. I think it’s time for me to do BBBE the right way and quit messing around. I’m slightly miserable with my skin and I’m almost to BBBE anyway so I’m gonna start with Joe and Rachel on October 15. I’m hoping it helps. I actually had smooth arms for once! Whoa. You might be on to something!

67 years old, I went KETO and intermittent fasting, when after a year of fighting T2 Diabetes and seeing little improvement in my numbers. Long story short, my numbers drastically improved from the first day, am no longer take meds for my diabetes, losing weight, have more energy and focus. A side benefit of all this, is I had dozens of skin tags on my arm pits, and now they are nearly all gone and the ones that are left are smaller and continue to shrink/dry up, age spots on my hands are fading, and moles are are going away as well. My Dr. is amazed at my health progress, pretty sure I will be losing some meds for BP next appointment. :)

I transitioned to 100% keto and 4:20 intermittent fasting in November 2017. During the years before that, I was diagnosed with basal and squamous cell carcinoma several times. The frequency had led my dermatologist to insist on seeing me every 6 months. Since starting keto and IF I've had neither basal nor squamous, and in 2018 the doc changed me back to yearly checkups. Knowing about the cancer limiting benefits of keto, I recently wondered whether my body had simply run its course of skin cancers or whether keto and IF were the cause. This video makes me lean heavily towards the latter. Something marvelous happened at a prior cancer site. I had squamous cell just above my right ankle. It was not excised - I'm not sure of the correct term, but a laser was used to destroy it. It was about the size of a nickel and took months to heal, and when eventually the final scab fell off, it irritated me constantly and looked horrible, like I had been tattooed with a brown, rough edged circle. Two months after I started keto and IF, a day after my first extended fast of 40 hours, the skin erupted and bled, and reverted to the raw state that it had been shortly after the procedure. Not fully understanding the benefits of keto and IF, I assumed that the cancer had come back and made an appointment to see the doc. The amazing thing was that within a couple of days it had scabbed over, and in about two weeks had healed completely, no longer looking unsightly. And best of all, no more irritation. Was this a case of autophagy at its best? Convincing enough for me to wholeheartedly champion keto and IF with regular extended fasts.

I had acne conglobata (very severe acne) and 3 dermatologists told me I had to go on prednisone (immunosuppressant) and accutane. The dermatologists had no idea how these worked and thought diet has nothing to do with the skin. I decided to go on a ketogenic diet because it seemed more likely to work and has a lot less side affects. It started clearing up within a few weeks and only comes back when I eat something inflammatory. I found that the only things I can eat are grass fed beef, macadamia nuts, and butter. I tried spinach, almonds, and a few other foods but they cause my skin to get irritated. I think the root of the problem might be leaky gut so I am taking gelatin.

Thank you, Dr. Berry. My keto journey: Eating carbs (pasta, bread, rice, sugar, processed food, etc.) makes my skin issues flare up. When my body started to reject these items (at the age of 49! Was fine before!), my hands broke out into a rash. I went to an allergist and he did a "chemical" allergy test on my back (he didn't tell me there were three different tests to choose from...) and gave me the name of ONE chemical that I was allergic to. He didn't bother to do a food allergy test. When I first saw him, I was very impressed with him. On my visit to have him give me the test results where he told me I had exzcema, I asked him why now? He said it was "my time in the bucket." ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? I lost all respect for him at that time. He also proceeded to try to prescribe a nasal spray and a daily allergy pill - for my very minimal seasonal allergies that was not brought up at any of my visits!! In the duration of my visits with him, he prescribed some cream for my hands. Said it would sting a little bit, but that was normal. Well, it did sting, and it enflamed the rash. I ended up having a staph infection. Had to do my own research to heal myself. I have many friends that express their concerns over things like this and I tell them my story. They still think that they need creams and pills to put on and in their body to heal it. Please consider eating a keto diet for any health issues you may have. It's a start, and it's better than pumping drugs into your body.

Neither one can figure out what it was. I finally had a biopsy done & they determined it was some type of dermatitis & I would just have to deal with it because there was no known reason as to what was causing it and there was no way to prevent it. For a few years ago I was diagnosed as having chronic granuloma annulare which I was told is quite rare. I have huge patches of thin red angry looking skin which is very unsightly and itches. However it is not on the surface and so is not sore and of course there is no known cause or cure. I have been following a ketogenic diet for 4 months now and as well as the weight loss (24lbs) the skin condition has calmed down considerably. I used to have dark red/purple patches on my wrists and knuckles and whilst the skin is still slightly discoloured it is disappearing, even the ones on my legs are healing. The dermatologist discharged me a couple of years ago because there was nothing he could do. I feel like going back to him and telling him about the keto way of eating and how much it has helped my condition but I am sure he will says “oh yeah it does spontaneously go away”. Keep up the good work Dr Ken.

I was diagnosed with Hidradenitis Supperativa, after 11 years of misdiagnosis. That whole time I was told to take all sorts creams, steroids, and pills, yet nothing ever helped!
My HS progressed to a severe stage 3 and I thought that was it for me. My depression and social anxiety was at an all time high. My pain was always at a 10. I was having an incredibly difficult time just taking care of my kids and the household.
All the doctors ever told me was I didn't shower enough, or that it was because I was overweight and smoked. I had developed HS around the age of 13, when I was thin, and never smoked. I had slowly gained weight and started smoking due to the extreme stress of having HS.
In an online support group for HS, a member said they had success with the Ketogenic diet and that they were in remission! I gave it a try and found that within 4 months time, all my severe stage 3 flares that had been weeping for 2 years, cleared up completely! The thick rope-like sinus tracks/tunneling that had restricted my arm movements, were hardly noticable and I regained nearly all my range of motion again! It's been almost 4 years and I have still been in remission. I will always share my story when I can. People with HS deserve to know that there is something that can help make their lives better!
