A few months ago I suddenly became very sick. I spent several weeks in bed and sent my young child to stay with family. Doctors had no answers. It's been 9 days since I started eating red meat only. Ive lost 21 pounds of swelling in my joints, I can walk, and my daughter is back home. I was literally dying. My family would gasp when they saw me sick. I am so happy to be healing. 🙂

You've may had candida overgrowth which made you that sick but the carnivore diet choice is great, however I would do healthy Keto and add supplements to assist with condition

My daughter has MS, I had read about diet vs standard treatment for MS. I told her to change her diet immediately. She did and the results are amazing. Her first MRI showed several lesions. Two were large with halos. After two years of eating a Paleo diet she had another MRI, (she had to fight with her specialist to get that MRI). The images showed most of the smaller lesions were GONE. The two large ones with halos had decreased in size. She's had NO symptoms of MS for five years. She treats her MS through diet and exercise. Her Nueorologist poo pooed the idea of diet when my daughter was diagnosed. Now she is a believer that diet can be a treatment for MS.

I have MS. I went Carnivore 11 weeks ago. I'm off of every supplement I used to take, every prescription drug, and I had an appointment with my specialist today - despite three lesions on my spine and a brain that looks like swiss cheese on an MRI, I am completely symptom free. I was smiling and lively in a way the doctor had never seen me and he remarked, it was as if he was only meeting me for the first time today. I refused the next rituxan infusion. It's amazing what can happen when you feed your DNA what it expects from its environment. Thank you for your work, Doctor!

I have 10 autoimmune conditions. After trying every type of diet, I started Carnivore to improve my Crohn's symptoms. To my amazement, within 24 hours, my asthma disappeared, restless leg syndrome, acid reflux, indigestion and several other things just stopped!
After 4 months I went back onto a 'normal' gluten-free diet as I was worried about bowel cancer. Immediately all these symptoms came back again! So now I'm back on Carnivore.

Dr. Berry, I started following you a while ago because I ran across your keto videos, and because you're one of my Nashville neighbors. I also spoke to one of my doctor friends (chiropractor/physiotherapist/nutritionist) in Nashville about you as well, and he spoke very highly of you.
I was diagnosed with "cluster autoimmune disorder" almost 10 years ago, at the age of 29. First it was hoshimoto's, then celiac, then they linked the life long anemia to autoimmune... After that it was narcolepsy, then when they started mentioning probable MS, I just quit going to the doctor. It was too much and nobody was giving me any answers as to why or any solutions. I changed my diet, cut out all hydrogenated vegetable fats and all gluten and grains except for rice, and it did make me feel "better". I didn't feel as if I was dying anymore at least. I've tried keto quite a few times, would lose a little weight, but put it back on eventually, usually in a trauma situation with lots of stress, like the loss of a close family member.
5 days ago, I convinced myself to try going full carnivore. I'm in tears as I type this because I can't believe how much better I already feel. Quite frankly, in the most simple terms I can come up with... you have saved my life, and I could never thank you enough for making this information available. You are such a blessing to so many suffering people.

Amazing that's awesome keep going I'm almost 2 yrs and I've suffered horrible migraines since age 10 and I feel great...keep at it...don't go back to plants ....check out Dr Berrys friend Dr. Paul Saladino...talk about plants warfare on our bodies

    • @user-uz7ws8ty2j
      @user-uz7ws8ty2j 4 ปีที่แล้ว +43

@@ninawildr4207 Yes! Thank you.... I found Dr. Saladino also from videos he has done with Dr. Berry and had planned on ordering the updated version of his book this week. I just made the comment to a friend today that I haven't had a headache in 5 days, and very little heartburn as well. That's just simply amazing to me. I've always known my body craved meat, specifically beef, but I assumed that it was due to my chronic anemia... I wasn't willing to give it up, despite what doctors like Dr. Gundry claimed. I knew I needed it, even after being told it caused inflammation. So I have tried to always eat good grass fed/finished meat whenever I could. Limited the veggies and plants that I was told would cause problems with my thyroid but that wasn't enough... In only a few days, I feel like my head is above water and I'm out of a fog that I've been in for close to 2 decades. I'm in shock, honestly and I know it will only get better from here!

Dr. Ken Berry,I can not discuss anything I learned from you, with my doctor . She rolls her eyes and says: you are listening to the You-tube Doctor again, in a very condescending voice . I am unable to find another rheumatologist in my area, they are as rare as gold . We do not live in a small town, but they are just not practicing here . I am suffering too much to go on with her recommendations, which look nothing like yours . I will try this diet as a last resort , maybe it will help ease my pains and stop further deformation of my joints. I am at a point where I have trouble doing the mundane, ordinary things in life . Just holding a toothbrush and removing the cap from the t-paste hurts, thanks for the good info ! Barbara.

I struggled with my health, for the last ten years. I retired in Oct 2022.... 29 days later I had a life threatening event. I was life flighted to a major Nevada hospital and was put
into the IC facility for 2 days on a ventilator. Over last three years I was under the care of a major university Utah specialist, all to no avail. Last November I went to a local
Dr. in my area. I was having high blood sugar issue and he recommended going on the low carb or Keto diet. Needless to say my MCTD has almost completely disappeared! I am able to
exercise again, and have had my MCTD symptoms almost completely disappear. At one time I was on 25 MG of Prednisone, and was even having 1000 MG IV infusions every 3 months.

If this doctor's sources are correct, avoiding specific Nonprotein Amino Acids, as he suggests, would also starve Parkinsons of the metabolic components required to progress further.

Ray R Ray, when I started I thought the same, this way of eating was going to break me financially. I must admit I did eat plenty of butter, coconut oil and cream (Bullet Proof coffee) in the beginning as it made me feel full. Once I adjusted I managed to get organised. You will never regret going Carnivore honestly and you will see how much you can save when not buying the over processed, refined Carb’s or the plant foods!!! I buy the best steak 🇦🇺 Scotch fillet plenty of juicy fat -$ 10-12 a piece, Bacon- $9.99 for a kg (2.2lb), $6.00 a dozen free range eggs, 2.2 lb Block of tasty cheese is $10.00, T Bone steaks, $10.00 each for large. Because I don’t buy the other 💩 I have plenty of money to purchase the choicest cuts of meat best type of eggs (grain free, pesticide free) and when you finally get organised you will be able to also. I usually have 2-3 slices of middle bacon for breakfast, around 9-10 am, when I have 2 slices of Bacon, I usually throw in an egg and that keeps me going until about 4 pm, then I have my steak for dinner about 5 pm. I have dinner early so I spend more time intermittent fasting. God bless you and I hope this helps . 😘

GFR has improved significantly, and Hb1ac is down from 7.3 to 6.2. I started carnivore 12 weeks ago and have lost 22 lbs. BP came down from 135/90 to 115/70. I haven't had a flare up in over 2 years. Hi, I'm new to your channel and very new to carnivore (today is Thursday and I started this past Sunday). I have severe autoimmune disease in the form of psoriatic arthritis and tried keto for several years. While I did lose some weight, it didn't help my joint pain, high blood pressure or high triglycerides. It did help with my high glucose levels after some time. I finally just gave up and sadly went back to eating grains. Now I'm a total metabolic mess and out of curiosity, watched one of your videos. All I can say is WOW, what a difference a few days make! My joints feel so much better already, my blood glucose had already went from a fasting number of 128 to 90 and my blood pressure is low normal. I happened to be at my PCP yesterday and she already wants to lower the dose of my 3-med combo blood pressure medicine. Last but not least, I've lost 9 pounds in 5 days.
All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you!

After a heart operation in April 2020 my daughter moved in to look after me. She is vegan and so for a month I ate only plant based foods. Very tasty and I did start to lose weight. But the rheumatic flare ups were off the scale. After much research it became clear that a vegan diet and an autoimmune disease is a match made in hell. This video confirmed this. I moved to a keto diet and the situation improved. Carnivore for 6 months now and not a flare up in sight! I feel there is still some way to go. I saw my rheumatologist this morning. He looked at my blood work. Verdict: You have no inflammation. I would call that a result. I get slight improvement for Hashimoto's using AIP diet, for example, but much better results following Paleomedicina in Hungary, which is strict carnivore. They recommend ruminant animals only (no dairy, no coffee, and in the US avoiding pork). They recommend avoiding fish because of contaminants and chicken because it is less nutritious. Their research (on 10,000+ cases) that people with autoimmune disease/leaky gut can be quite reactive to even tiny amounts of plant foods.

    - 60 + lb weight loss. Was close to 250 lbs at my peak, hover around 185 lbs now.
    - No longer marching toward pre diabetic condition. I was well on my way.
    - Blood pressure back down to normal levels, no longer on BP meds.
    - Energy levels not experienced since my 20's (I'm 56) No more afternoon crashes.
    - Vastly improved dental health. My gums would bleed just from the simple act of flossing and my teeth were extremely sensitive to temperature extremes, especially cold items. Having my teeth cleaned would put me through the roof. Just got done a cleaning and the hygienist commented on my healthy gums. Tooth sensitivity is a thing of the past now.

As someone with life long digestive problems, I gave up wheat around 20 years ago and noticed improvements in what I thought was IBD, and might have been gluten intolerance. 10 years ago I noticed ongoing, chronic pain in my joints - I do not drive, and walk everywhere, but it became more painful, even though I kept on moving as much as possible. I decided to give up all grains, legumes, and starchy foods. Within 48 hours my joint pain, which I assumed was osteo-arthritis, disappeared and has never returned. I moved to the AIP and was on it for 2 years, with good results. It helped me identify foods I could not return to eating - most nuts, seeds and some tropical fruits. I'm currently on a keto regimen, but now that I'm in my 70's, I'm looking for help on what will keep me active and healthy for the rest of my life. I will check out the research and talk to my kinesiologist - thanks for the information.

But after cutting off all junkfood, seed oils and switching to the LCHF diet since my diagnoses, I felt a massive difference in my anemia. Its has gotten so much better, I skipped my monthly injection recently.
I cant wait to hear from my dr about my future blood work results this coming august.

On the long term it can damage your kidney and it can be irreversible (too much proteins ). Many Drs have debunked this carnivore diet so many times and no unbiaised study exist to prove the anecdotical results we can ear from carnivore dieters. The gurus said its backed by science but I could'nt find any long term study about it. So if you find one please send me the link. Plus many bodybuilder (high Meat eaters) died from kidney failure. Add to your list ME/CFS. I was 100% bedbound for 4/5 years and later 80% bed/housebound. I am now OMAD and have a high protein/fat diet. The difference is huge. I still pace myself and generally need 10 hours sleep but I have seen an amazing improvement in my health and ability to do many of the things I enjoyed before I went down with the virus that caused my ME. At 50 I struggled to take a bath without the help of my husband. At 61 it's like I've regained the lost years.
I was told ME is lifelong and untreatable. I don't believe there is a cure but I can honestly say I've reversed many of the disabling symptoms.

I'm floored. All of this resonates with me and I think I finally know what destroyed my thyroid. Sadly, my thyroid attacked itself starting in my 20's. By my 40s, despite all I did to change it, it became a massive goiter and had to be removed. Interestingly, right before my thyroid just went haywire, a "doctor" (Andrew Lessman) who I later found out went to law school and has some kind of background in medicine but hadn't really practiced on real patients, started pushing a women's wellness formula that contained huge amounts of soy isoflavones. Soybeans, as we now know, are a particularly dangerous legume to consume in excess. When I had my surgery (that I kept putting off until it was almost lethal in size because I was so desperate to heal) my surgeon said it was one of the biggest she had ever seen. Can't even describe what this did to my self esteem and I ended up having complications during surgery due to its size. I also gained a ton of weight despite being on the "right" dose of thyroid hormone replacement. I was on low carb for a couple of weeks with no weight loss. Pre-diabetic, elevated blood pressure. 150 pounds overweight and only 5'5". So I started carnivore a few days ago. No stevia ir other additives. Just beef, eggs, chicken, pork with grass fed butter or ghee. I even let go of my last addiction today...coffee. Not sure where this journey will lead but I'm an optimist and a person of faith and I believe that no matter what happened in the past, I can begin again. Looking forward to a better life....

I’m so glad you finally found relief! I quite literally stumbled into what I know as carnivore today. I didn’t know it was a thing. I’d known I had celiac disease for over a decade and developed Duhring’s disease after unknowingly being cross contaminated in my own home. When the rash and blisters would not go away after stripping the house clean, I was put on an elimination diet in order to avoid having to take rounds of antibiotics and steroids. I kept a food diary and I continued to pull every food I had a negative reaction to. Eventually all I was left with was eggs and fish-I was plant-based prior to. Every time I tried to reintroduce a food back in I’d have a reaction. Eventually, I began to add in muscle meat and organs to survive. After a month or so my skin cleared and slowly I began to see other issues improve-completely unexpected! The intention was never to stay on this limited group of foods, but I can’t imagine going back to how I felt before. I started poking around the internet to see if it was possible to live like this and found Sally K. Norton and Georgia Ede, and discovered some carnivores on Twitter. The rest is history.
