Instant gratification is what has ruined us. Phones, social media. Technology in our fingertips is what's caused this, because we can get everything now. There's no time put in to anything anymore.
100% agree. We live in a microwave generation where we have easy access to almost everything at our disposal, so we believe that success should be easy to obtain as well.
not true normal, and below average men have always existed and will always exist. you can't save everyone, some people don't want to help themselves and don't want to achieve anything.
“Ruined us” your still blaming others other than yourself. You let yourself fall into instant gratification not the phone. You could have made a choice
The problem a lot of men face is that they have no discipline and take no accountability for the way their life is. Everybody wants to find somewhere to point the finger instead of just locking in and working. They rely way too much on motivation or some magic inspiration to push them forward-motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic is too fleeting, transient, and sporadic. Discipline and consistency takes us where we want to go. Motivation is like the spark of a match-without which, there’s no fire to begin with. But I’m order for that fire to grow and flourish and live, we have to cultivate and tend to it daily. Discipline is simply you tending to your fore to ensure it doesn’t die. Don’t let your fire die guys 🙏🏾.

This was so refreshing to listen to. I am sick and tired of individuals who can't take ownership of their lives. I even had an ex who blamed his ex-wife for purchasing the type of goodies he enjoys and said that she was sabotaging his weight loss 🥴. Like nobody forced this man to eat the cookies or whatever. Anyhow, it was a recurring theme in the relationship and I got so turned off because they never wanted to hear any type of constructive criticism either, but was extremely desperate for people to like them. I blame myself for hanging around so long. Lessons were learned and I found a new deal breaker 🤷🏽♀️
Ok, so when you've never really experience a dysfunctional upbringing, it's easy for someone to say things like, "men don't want to level up" this is called, denigrating. And when someone who is on top of their game and doesn't understand this, your not really helping anyone, because you can't relate to the larger percentage of men who are trying to change but find themselves stuck.
Dr. Jordan Peterson said it best in a simple phrase: "Clean your room". Fix all that YOU AS A MAN have the power to fix. Don't worry about the outside factors. Do what YOU need to be a better YOU, for no one else but YOU. The rest will come into play as you go. Clean. Your. Room.

Even if there was a quick way, it wouldn't be the best way. The lessons you learn from the journey are what makes it worth while, not just the outcome.
This episode had some very good content but there were many misconceptions I found during this discussion. I wish I had the time and the following to make a response to this video, because I come from a background that I can easily say not many people had growing up. I just have other things I need to focus on but here are my main points: 1. Taking ownership is very important, that I can't dispute that. But it would need to be healthy ownership. I can understand the benefit in thinking everything wrong with your life is your fault, but that unfortunately isn't the case and it's quite unrealistic to be honest. With this mindset, you can easily fall into the trap of being too hard on yourself and take on unnecessary burdens that aren't your responsibility to carry. It's fine to recognize your not the culprit as long as you try to get out of the situation you are in. 2. You can't just summarise the problem we have to just "hard work". Because hard work without purpose or a plan is just a waste of time. You always need to understand where you're at and take the right actions not just any action. If you're Looking for a more general answer to " what is the biggest problem men have" it's more to do with accepting inequality. Life isn't fair and to get what you want you have to work with what you have and go against the grain sometimes until you get what you want. 3. Just because your privileged or don't come from poverty, doesn't mean your life gets any easier. Having been on both side of the spectrum I can comfortable say that but I dont want to make this comment longer than it already is.
We live in microwave society where everything is quick and playing blame game ... nobody want to put in work just want instant gratification.... Please levels up no more excuses, skin color , racism, mommy issues, women issues, society norms, etc .. Level Up 🆙 Men ...
Instant Gratification has destroyed most Men's ability to Focus and put in the Hard Work. That is why Patience is a Virtue, most Men today lack Passion, Patience, and Persistence. This is caused by Social Media, Free Porn, Video Games, the Internet in general, and easy access to Drugs. That is why it is very important to limit your Internet usage, because most of these Instant Gratification activities are done through the Internet. People just want quick and instant results, that is not how the World works. It takes time and work for the seed to grow into a Tree. The same applies to anything in Life, it takes time and a lot of work for you to become who you want to be. "there are no ugly men but you have to put in that work" I believe everyone needs a religion or a higher goal that will seem to take a lifetime Everyone just need something bigger than themselves so it can push them to the point where you are dying to reach that goal or religion and you are on a war path to finish TL:DR Have a higher purpose or religion in mind to better yourself

Once men fully understand that there are no shortcuts in life. Then they can really start their journey. We need to have purpose. I also think that America is an amazing country but it’s not perfect. America is a country built on business foreigners come to this country hungry for wealth and opportunity. Look at America as a business and you’ll understand what I mean
Accountability is in severe shortage these days,no one wants to be held responsible for their own actions. We are getting killed by officers of the law not because we are abiding by the law but because we are not being held accountable for our actions by our own people. There is no reason to panic, run,be disrespectful, resist detainment if you have done nothing wrong!!!!
this is really just about hating yourself and it doesn't work once you throw children in the mix improvement from self-hatred is common and easier its harder to improve from a place of love but it will last longer and is applicable in more areas than hatred is

facts! The minute I felt uncomfortable not making 6 figures I took ownership and figured out what it took to get there by making myself uncomfortable and now I make well above it. There aren't any shortcuts!!!
There are but they are dirty shortcuts. Not something you want to do. It always bites you in the ass
@@KingYou2002 facts
Idk how people hasn't figured this out. Always working on goals and all it takes is effort
Even if there was a quick way, it wouldn't be the best way. The lessons you learn from the journey are what makes it worth while, not just the outcome.
You made it to 300K! Cheers, you've earned it! Wishing you much success!
This episode had some very good content but there were many misconceptions I found during this discussion.
I wish I had the time and the following to make a response to this video, because I come from a background that I can easily say not many people had growing up. I just have other things I need to focus on but here are my main points:
Otherwise, we would all be ultra wealthy alpha giga chads with a line of beautiful Women ready to sleep with us.
Loved this video with my guy Jose.
This is now my new go to channel.. I'm learning valuable life lessons here as a man💯
Absolutely agree, We encourage this type of person here in Australia as well, it is a Culture where everyone gets a Gold Star ⭐️, from childhood. When we don’t, we complain, We Blame others. Thankyou, Gentlemen you guys keep going
Great video!! My thoughts exactly with society .. everyone wants something/the best of the best for doing nothing. Put in the work, level yourself up..no one else can do it for you
There is one shortcut. Genetics...
Lean into what you are naturally more predisposed to being great at and work hard at that.
Just came across you guys. Really loving your content. 46 y/o Marine vet You are doing a lot of good for young men.
So true my good buddy/roomate puts his work in his craft and he’s shining. Told me straight up it’s not given! Love yall kings
Somehow a video of yours came up as recommended this afternoon. Instant fan, lots of information and truth that needs to be discussed further. Great work.
Great convo. Much respect, all around the table.
"If you complain, you stay the same"
Jose intro was speaking nothing but the truth 🔥💯 don’t place your blame on your race or your lack of success and level up with hard work
Jose is always keeping it real🙌🏾
Not all men are broken I was born In America and my family was dirt poor. I went out and put in the work and made something for myself and my wife. That doesn't make every thing great if you aren't good enough with out it you won't be good enough with it .l believe that all people can be GREAT. thank you and GOD BLESS YOU AND GOD BLESS AMERICA
I was listening to this while replacing men with women in my head.
Jose spittin facts!
This is very powerful and it’s the honest truth ⭐️
True points said here...stop complaining and invest in your life..b.c the most rewarding things in life take hard work
Great talk fellaz. Keep up the good work... Let’s Gooooo People!!
What a great interview. What a great perspective. Thank you.
From tomorrow on, I'll put 100% of work, this clip change it everything for me
"there are no ugly men but you have to put in that work"
I believe everyone needs a religion or a higher goal that will seem to take a lifetime
Everyone just need something bigger than themselves so it can push them to the point where you are dying to reach that goal or religion and you are on a war path to finish
TL:DR Have a higher purpose or religion in mind to better yourself
I went back and watched his first video and he has come a long way ryan got that wisdom and I was fortunate to find his channel in 2017 when I first moved into my dorm he helped me tremendously but advice that I'd like to share from my own life in terms of talking to girls practice on 10s and you'll never be afraid to lose 10
Regarding the begging message or the preamble........ My husband told me the same thing when I wanted to quit CrossFit 😂
Roommates congratulations on reaching 300k subscribers 👏👏👏
Thank you for posting, I will be sure to watch.
I've seen the Roommates before I ever watched the F&F podcast. However, for some reason those episodes didn't completely catch my attention. Then, when I heard Hafeez carry himself in there was like, woah! this dude is a natural mentor. Good stuff, guys. SUSCRIBED!
Less than 2 mins in I like this guy already. My parents came to the uk from Colombia and I love this country for the opportunity it has provided for me. I love the British culture but unfortunately many people decide to view it as institutionally racist or whatever. Especially as a Colombian I experience a lot of prejudice but I can either hate that minority and the country as a result, or be grateful🤷🏽♂️
I feel Jose on what he was saying about being hungry. Everyone has to get that in them, and once you get it...theres nothing to stop you.
Intro alone is enough for me to share with my few friends who struggle with this fact, not concept.
Thumbs Up for this video. It was very inspirational for me.
I probably don't put as much effort into certain things than I probably should, but I certainly don't blame anyone or anything else but myself. For better or for worse, a person has to take full accountability & ownership of their actions & inactions rather than blaming others.
God bless what y’all do on this podcast
Congrats on the 300K!
Us white men don't see brown or black guys beneath us, in fact we see them as unique individuals with good genes and athleticism. So don't be bothered thinking that you guys need to work a little harder than us. We are all equal. Great video!
Yeah . Lmao
You probably have a good heart but you’re not a good observer of the world you’re live in
@@brokerabbit94 Well, I'm Australian and we are not the same as the US. We treat each other here as equal. I guess that's why US is kinda fucked up to live in.
@@kimwelpinili5242 Where did the Aborigines of Australia go?
Exactly brother! We are all unique yet the same. And I can’t really speak for the black but I can speak for the vast majority of us brown guys and we don’t blame the white man nor do we think the white man is “entitled” or “better” than us. And we don’t think we are better than y’all or anyone for that matter. We are just us. We are Hispanic/Latino/mestizo and we are genuinely and wholeheartedly proud of our culture and our roots.
Cheers!
Dude just read my mind completely, especially about working out
Love it. Everything starts and ends within ourselves. Dont worry about the next person. If all I attract is toxic people I have to ask myself what is it about ME that draws them. Everyone is not toxic..so the constant factor is me. Great content gentlemen. I know this is for the fellas but I can apply a lot of this to my own life. Bravo🙏🏾
Let’s go! Rise and grind fellas!
This is dope information keep it coming. My first time watching ya
Found this video at the right time. Definitely needed this message. Thank you.
Tony ryheme and Troy so proud of you I love you boys, help landen don't forget about him teach him what you have learned
I feel so much respect for this guy
Great video 💯
More Jose collabs 🔥💯 he the 🐐
Use to have a different perception of Jose... it changed today
Great conversation 👍
This video needs to have millions of views.
I feel like as an adult no one is bringing anything to the table but the things that come with taking care of yourself 🤷🏾♀️ unless your the top 1%
Accountability is in severe shortage these days,no one wants to be held responsible for their own actions. We are getting killed by officers of the law not because we are abiding by the law but because we are not being held accountable for our actions by our own people. There is no reason to panic, run,be disrespectful, resist detainment if you have done nothing wrong!!!!
this is really just about hating yourself and it doesn't work once you throw children in the mix
improvement from self-hatred is common and easier
its harder to improve from a place of love but it will last longer and is applicable in more areas than hatred is
jose is the type zuniga who keeps it real
I needed to see this!
I love him. Omg what an amazing guy. Great mindset
