- What's up guys, slightly different video today I guess but as the title suggests I spent the full day working inside the Meta Quest 3!
I know the long awaited Apple Vision Pro is out but could this be a budget friendly option?
I apologise for any weird audio issues from the mic when recording inside the headset but overall don't think it was too bad thankfully!

This is really awesome, as I'm working from home most of the time it would be nice to change scenery without really losing my home workspace.
Exactly that man, it really is incredible imo and something more people should look into especially all you need the Quest and comparing the price vs the Vision Pro it’s a no brainer!

Thanks man. Honestly the tech from the AVP is already here I just don’t think people are aware and because Apple are a marketing giant it seems like new tech but it’s not. Plenty of affordable options out there!

I am tempted now to get the Quest 3 or the Apple Vision Pro but the price for the Vision Pro in my opinion is not justified and in order for it to be I can’t see how it’s that many times better than the quest 3!

I love that space room/environment, but man it sucks if you have larger displays-they always end up floating outside of the room in space and become very difficult to interact with.
I've not had that issue just yet, are you moving around for it to happen?
This looks fun and crazy! I’m really having second thoughts about whether I should get the Vision Pro when it launches in my country, or just get a Quest 3 now. AVP is so expensive but the sensors and R1 chip makes me wanna spend for it, especially because I get motion sickness easily.

I just don’t think it’ll be that much better to warrant the £3000 extra, I could be wrong but people shouldn’t sleep on the MQ3 it’s pretty incredible itself!

@thedeveloperadam I have games purchased on App Store and I am fully in the ecosystem. But Quest 3 is cheaper and I could still get an AVP with a little bit more saving. Is 128GB enough? I’d like to try some light games, the virtual office thing in your video, watch anime/netflix, maybe PCVR.
@@pandaengine only have the 128gb but I have fast WiFi so if I wanna delete and re-download I can, although the games aren’t huge in my experience anyways.
PCVR is just linked through your PC so space isn’t an issue their anyways neither is the virtual desktop stuff so save some pennies and get the 128 imo 😊
Great video! I was thinking of buying one basically just for studying etc. Would you say it is worth it? And would you recommend me the quest 2 or the quest 3?
Obviously everyone has difference opinions etc but I would say it’s worth it not only for virtual spaces for studying but the huge array of apps that are available including the games!
I’ve got both and I’d go for the MQ3 the pass through and upgraded quality are really worth it imo

Great video. Question, if you had a headset like the visor, light 4k, hand tracking, and pass through, could you work like this all the time?
The resolution imo is fine on the quest 4k isn’t the deciding factor even though it would be awesome - I feel like I could work like this already but would take some getting used too.
It’s definitely the weight of the device on the face that would be the deciding factor - I’m excited to see the Visor and how good they are.
I’m gonna spend a day working with my xReal glasses - they’re similar kinda but have no hand tracking etc
Nice video! I am also a dev and have an MQ3 as well that along with immersed is largely a workable experience. However that was after I added the bobovr halo strap for more comfort and now it is fairly too large to take around when travelling. I saw you also have/tried the Xreal Airs. How do you find they compare using over a work day like this?

Even though they can do the same thing they are very different the immersed app and of course the immersion that comes with MQ3 is something you don’t get with the xreals but they are far more comfortable… I’ll do a working day video soon! ❤️

May I know among META QUEST 3 vs. XREAL AIR 2 (OR 2 PRO) which one do you think is the current most productive one for working during the day, especially regarding multi-screen tasks? Especially when it comes to screen clarity (close to monitor level), ease of use, and the pain of for wearing a longer tine?
Since I am curious should I get a Quest 3 for a higher quality screen for (maybe occasionally? or daily?) working outside (with a fully immersed experience and gaming capacity and amazing meta ecosystem), or just XREAL AIR for the monitor productivity? I got a quest 2 before but I found that firstly the immersed display of the screen is not clear and always dizzy (I heard QUEST 3 would be much better, but not sure how close it is to a real screen or XREAL Air one), and also, the pressure from the vr glass with kiwi band still makes my eyes feel tired very easily.
I haven’t done a full on comparison but I’ve done two videos one with the MQ3 and recently just done one with the xReal - there’s a few other videos on my channel related to these to that might help 😊

Were you using the track pad on your Mac to control the cursor? Also do you need a good GPU if using a PC?
Yeah I was using the trackpad - I’m not sure if there’s a recommended for using it but you’d likely need a half decent GPU
