- In this video I completely remove my front bumper and show you what's underneath.
I cover how to make your own brackets to permanently fix any and all bumper sag and loose bumper cover issues.
If you have any questions or would like to see videos about anything specifically related to the Hyundai veloster platform please leave a comment.

WHAT A UNIT!! She looks really good man. The details you put into her, especially all the blue and bling, is awesome! Thanks for the bumper bracket upgrade idea. I'll definitely be doing that sooner than later, considering even if I didn't WANT to do it sooner, she would of made me HAVE to do it later😅
@@painedinks thanks for watching, subscribing, and for the positive feedback! Lots more content coming
Will be buying the supplies for this weekend to complete. Good video! The sag under my headlights is driving me nuts.
Awesome video man! I’m constantly fighting the sag
Hey! Thanks for watching! I hope it might help you fix your bumper! Please subscribe if you like my content I have so much more to share about this platform!
Hey man! I found you from a fb group. Your car is awesome! I’ve only seen 1.5 of your videos, but I can’t wait to see what you do to this thing. lol
I would have so much anxiety driving that thing. Fuck around and bump something and the bumper might push the bracket back and break the core support. That would suck.
Your headlights are insane too. I don’t think they’ll fit a 2016 base though.
Do you have the DCT or manual? I ask because I see that some Megan Racing radiator offers say fits manual only. They also suggest thinner fans. Any issue with stock fans?
Mine is manual. The Megan racing radiator doesn't have the hookups for the trans cooler lines so it will only work on the manual trans veloster. As for thinner fans, I used the OEM fans with no issue.
Is there anychanc i can get the info for the hardware im still q bit confused on the but and bolt combination to use for the custome bumper bracket.
@@chrisjude6715 pretty much any metric M6 size bolt that is long enough to go through the bracket and the bumper and thread into the bottom of the radiator core support
Just bought myself a veloster, and the previous owner was an idiot kid who messed up the car. I need to do a lot of fixing on it, and one thing is the bumper. I will be doing the bracket thing. But the top of my bumper does not look like yours. There are only 2 bolts in the middle. I assume the outer ones were cut off for some reason, and there is no shield any more. I assume I will need either a new bumper or new shield. Where did you get your bumper? And where did you get that amazing blue bracket it's bolted to?
@@andrewenns1884 I recommend only buying OEM bumpers from the dealership and having them painted to match the car. Most of the aftermarket companies that make cheap bumpers are exactly that "cheap" junk. As for the blue bracket. That is an all aluminum custom upper radiator core support that I made for my car after a car accident a couple years ago replacing the OEM parts that were damaged.
any issue with leaking fuel? my wife has a 2015 turbo veloster and we've replaced the fuel pump 3 times already. we are the second owners first owner said the car had no issues but man its shut off on us multiple times no check engine light. Hopefully you have some insite on this.
I have never had any issues with fuel in 10 years. Years ago when I first started adding performance parts to the car I upgraded the OEM fuel line to a nice braided high pressure fuel line because the OEM fuel line is terrible. I have only had one local friend who needed a fuel pump (the one inside the tank) I have heard that the high pressure pumps fail sometimes. The high pressure pump is on top of the valve cover on the engine.
What hood do you have on your car? I have a 2016 veloster turbo with OEM hood I want to do vented
You have a good source to get a MAC Valve? I see you have one on the turbo BOV solenoid. I bought 3 but all have turned out fake china ones..
