- It's been a long time.
Here's my long-awaited arrangement of Yorushika's "Blur(藍二乗/Ai Nijou)". Although I wanted to upload a new video asap, I thought I needed to prioritize myself on making an arrangement I'd be satisfied with first. (actually it's because I struggled a lot coming up with ideas to complete it lol)
It was a challenge to convey the same feeling of the original song, and while I tried to make the arrangement as similar as possible to it, I made variations for each chorus to make the sheet more interesting. (oh, and as always, there's a "subtle" easter egg somewhere... ;) )
The beginning of this arrangement was inspired by another one of my favorite bands, supercell. Their rock songs always have had this iconic piano/electric guitar intro before getting to the intense parts, so I thought it'd be perfect to use the same gimmick here :)
Anyway, it's been a long time since I've uploaded a Yorushika song, so I hope it was worth the wait. Hopefully nobody will be traumatized by the difficulty of the sheet XD

i LOVE the dynamics, they make the arrangement feel like a lot of emotion was put into it
さすがですね。他の楽器の演奏が入った曲の雰囲気をここまで再現する。ヨルシカのピアノアレンジでピカイチだと思います。
oh WOW~ I really liked the moment at 1:56, where it suddenly got quiet. I like what you did at 2:04, thanks for including that secondary melody in that RH :D. The chorus parts are really powerful, which suits the song well. Immense headbop moment at 2:44 it'll be very satisfying playing that lol. I also always wanted to play that little jazz flick at the very end, thanks for transcribing that! haha.
tbh I think this piece will sound a lot better played on actual piano (which I'll make sure happens ;), maybe it's just my speaker but the audio sounded a bit too crisp? and I personally prefer a sort of muted sound for Yorushika. But I mean, the arrangement itself is great. Once finals are over, I'll practice this 👍
원곡하고 완전 똑같이 들려요. 완성도가 다른 커버하고 비교가 안될 정도로 좋네요.
계속 변화는 노래 분위기에 잘 맞춰 녹아든 음들이 인상깊습니다. 앞으로도 더 많은 노래 올려주세요.

악센트하고 페달 부분 다 조정한거 봐 ㅠㅠ 프로그램이 아니라 진짜 사람이 연주한 것처럼 들림.

It's truly, amazingly beatiful. Like realy, i'm speechless, especially at 3:35 I nearly cried. Thank god, I live at the same time with people who can make such arrangements!
I love the guitar riffs and the melody switching between the two hands. For me. I like the silent parts in 2:13 better than 1:04 since it feels less abrupt with the eigth note leading into the chords. 2:22 caught me by surprise but I rechecked the original song and you're right; I never noticed that the bass note was f natural.
I couldn't find the easter eggs 😔. Some parts sound like August, a certain person, moonlight, but yeah...

혼자 따라 쳐도 이 맛을 흉내내지도 못 하겠고,
노트 하나하나 곡을 재해석한 느낌을 주는 이 편곡이 가장 인상적입니다.
