Just a couple of quick things from a long time Land O Lakes resident.... Lake Padgett is not pronounced Pageant. It's "Padg-it." The Community Center of which you speak at the end is not on U.S. 41. It's on Collier Parkway, just south of the Plantation Palms community that you highlighted earlier. That being said, it is an awesome place to live. Close enough to anything you need/want to do yet suburban enough to not have to live right on top of your neighbors.
Thanks for that correction. Yeah I may have pronounced that wrong… it’s out of habit. Like some people saying supposably vs supposedly. It happens but thanks for the correction. It is a great community and you can find some nice properties in there!

Live here. Very nice, tho the skeet shooting is kinda overpriced. But other than that, I would choose near the Colier parkway area or the near lando highschool like in Connerton or Wilderness lakes.

It’s good to be knowledgeable about them, but I wouldn’t say worried.
You should be very worried about sinkholes.
Which is the nearest beach park to watch sunset ?
Are you asking for the nearest beach? If so our beaches are located on the west coast. So around 30-40 min drive. I would say honeymoon island, Dunedin area or clearwater beach

@@TampaFloridaLiving I share this perspective based on the observations of long-term residents, myself included, who have witnessed notable transformations in the Land O Lakes area over the past nine years. These changes encompass an influx of real estate investors motivated by greed, ongoing traffic congestion, insufficient infrastructure, extensive construction projects, overcrowded schools, and concerns of corruption within the local government stemming from excessive overdevelopment in a confined area. While some individuals may currently find the area appealing, it is expected that shifting opinions may arise as available land diminishes in the next six years. This could lead to increased competition for land and potentially transform the area into a typical suburb surrounding Tampa Bay, with little improvement in sight. 😊
@@andrew_j_d8004 from your perspective as a long time resident i can understand wanting to keep the area quiet and quaint as that was part of the charm. With the growth of Tampa it is absolutely becoming a suburb of Tampa and will eventually become more populated. There are some really nice communities coming into the area as well. So while its not the land o lakes that we know, growth comes with good and bad. I try to focus on the positives bc we will never be able to stop growth of a city. I choose to embrace the good.
