Love that sweet Italian exhaust music. The bike itself looks good too, definitely see a lot of Panigale styling up front and still has the stylish single sided swingarm.
I actually liked riding this bike way more than the Panigale V2 which is why I bought it and I am yet to regret it. It sounds better than the V2 which I didn't think before and you barely notice the power difference that much in normal riding and its very comfy. Power is enough for street use and I also plan to use it on the track next year, but just for fun and not for serious track riding.
You are 100% correct. I own a Desert X and a Hyper Motard 950SP. These are the two best bikes I have ever owned because they are so suited for the street. I liked both so much that I just bought a 2023 Super Sport S. Anyone who says they are not fast because of the 110HP needs to ride one to experience the torque and refinement that these bikes possess. I also have a 1290 Super Duke Evo and when I ride the Ducs I have no desire for more power, in fact, it is hard to tell much a difference. Although the SD is faster you cannot utilize all of its power on the street and the SD is by far the most street friendly Hyper Naked of them all. The Ducati Street Fighter is useless on the street because it has no torque. It is a great bike but still too track oriented. This Super Sport is probably the most underrated sport bike on the planet. I can't wait to get the break in miles over with because like all Ducati's, they open up like no other motorcycle and literally transform into super smooth, powerful and sublime handling.
I recently traded my 2017 Supersport S for a 2015 Monster 1200S and in my opinion, the Monster is the perfect street bike. It has the same friendly and refined feel as the Supersport but way more bottom end punch that I felt was slightly missing in the Supersport. It had great mid-range but below 3500 rpm the engine felt quite tame. But still one of the best bikes i have ever ridden and I rode it for over 24 000 km
@@DucceMannen02 Monster is a great machine, I already have a Super Duke and I have been shying away from Naked's anyway. I Prefer the fairing on the 950SSS but I must say, my super sport, which is a 2023, has a ton of low end punch. I also have a Hyper 950SP and it does seem to be more punchy but I know it is geared slightly different. That being said, I know a lot of people with Super Sports that change the gearing. Maybe the earlier models were less punchy but who knows. Any of the Ducatis with that 937 Engine are amazing....the Monster is the only one I don't have. I do have a Pikes Peak but I prefer the 937 engine.......enjoy the Monster!

Since you have ridden both multi 950, what was the nicest one? And was there a difference in sound between this and multi 950? This has rather nice pops down low which i didnt hear in the multi pov.
Yea the SS definitely has a bit more of an aggressive sound. Other than that there's no point in comparing those two, they are from very different categories after all :)

I've watched many of your videos and they're great, but out of curiosity : why is the speedometer blurred only after 120 ? Is it legal to drive 119 km/h on those roads anyway ? :D
I got one this bike old model. Keep it yet . One The funiest e well balanced bike i've riden for road and canions roads. It quite underrated machine for it delivers. Mine got akrapo exhaust even more eargastic lol.
Looking back at it as I m on a monster path, the engine feel totally different on sound…. Am I right or is it just the video compression and sound capture? As you rode both. It does sound like an angry aprilia 660 mimicking the tuono v4!
I think at least one picture at the start would be good so I don't have to skip to the end and see what it looks like and then go back to the start again. Hard to watch a video of you thrashing a bike when I have no frame of reference for what bike it is, I thought a 950 S must be some old classic ducati from the 90s until I paused the video and googled it. Would you recommend the 950 for a every day commuter and a bit of twisties and touring. That seems to be it's market, a sporty all rounder. Did this one have aftermarket pipes?

The only "sports bike" I've rode is a Yamaha R15. I was comfortable for more than an hour. But I've also seen people hating it after first 10 mins. So touring on a sportbike is generally painful or does it depend on individuals? Sincere apologies for the long story 😅
It is down to the individual. I also know a lot of people who do tours on radical sport bikes. It's doable. But I wouldn't like to ride a bike like the SS950 for more than 3 hours

The Urban GS is an upright retro naked and this SS is a proper sports bike. I can't compare these two, sorry ;)
