As much as in love the various functions in the TFT dash on my bike, I love that Suzuki kept analogue clocks for this bike. There's a certain theatre about watching that speedo needle fly.
Indeed!
I wish more manufacturers would do that tbh. Who doesn't love at least and analog tach?
@@Motoboo_Marine tbh. Analog is much more expensive to make, than slap af TFT screen for 30-40$ from china in there. Thats why manufactures cheap out and use TFT's instead and try to make it fancy.
@@Motoboo_Marine It might be old but it is expensive as gold. That's why manufactures these days cheap out on the dash, and use a tft dash
Kawasaki nailed it with twin round analog and middle lcd, yeah its no tft but its pretty and do the job. Z900rs is dope.
Tho… the busa is something else. Saw the display, didn’t get why suzuki didn’t used it getting rid of the 2 small ones, on other bikes. Best looking dash. And close it is so detailed and refined!
Good to see someone finally riding the Hayabusa the way it was designed to be ridden and not just straight line speed.
without Turbo? r u joking? busa without turbo ain't real busa dawg!!
Thanks mate. I tried my best although it's tricky to find a road that's somewhat suited for this insane bike :D
@@dedyardana1224 What are you smoking?
Pretty sure it was designed to be ridden in a straight line :)
@@LB-hv3zl pretty sure that's boring
I highly appreciate your driving style - very mature, self-confident and fast, but without unnecessary aggression, always in your own lane..great:-)
Thanks for noticing
Except when he is not in his lane
Totalmente de acuerdo ✌️
It is a beast in a gentle form.
Well said!
Best looking "cockpit" in motorcycling right now in my opinion. There's not a close competitor.
agreed!
Suzuki's intake sound is sooo satisfying! Definitely one of the best sounding bikes in the market.
thanks
Sometime it sound like h2 off throttle i got triggered but this one is nice sounding 😊
Yep
It's amazing how it doesn't seem to be going that fast. Maybe it's because it seems to be very smooth, stable and unfussed at faster paces.
Thanks
In my experience big bikes with lot of weight, soft suspension and lot of power definitely mask the speed a lot. Cruising at 170kmh on the highway will feel like 100-120kmh
@@megapet777 exactamente eso sucede con mi K1300S. Pareces circular más lento y te sientes muy seguro. Sin sustos y con un gran aplomo
With this bike I always get that vibe of weighty, solid, smooth, but still packing polished performance and capable of sustained 'interesting speeds'. Kind of a Bentley...big, heavy, luxurious, but still capable of punching the Autobahn at sustained 250+kmh. Also, glad to still see analog dials. I love them. They convey things better than those digital readouts.
well said!!
The Busa is an interesting bike, even the old versions were extremely stable even without rider aids, back in an era when the early widowmaker literbikes were coming out. It's still a bike that can be ridden extremely fast without rider aids by mere mortals. Modern literbikes are of course faster and more powerful and significantly lighter, but are unrideable without IMUs and TC.
Thanks
When I rode this bike(first Hayabusa ever), I was amazed by the suspension and smooth engine. It was a Suzuki ride event. Never got to ride it like this! Thanks! This is high on my list!!
Thanks!
Holy... Like a fighter jet.
Also very nice of you to go slower past the bicyclists. Safe, contoled and gentle and also not slow. Legend
Thanks for noticing
I was desperate yesterday to find a video of the Hayabusa with you on it, now my wish is granted! Thank you! You've got the benchmark quality which I'm spoilt of, just can't accept anyone else's RAW video!
Glad I could help :)
I've ridden two Suzukis, a GSXR600 and an SV650.
The main thing I remember about the Gixxer is trading my CBR600 with my buddy, and 2 corners down a familiar hill I just had this feeling of "I can ride this thing as fast as I want." It's not the best engine or the fanciest components or whatever but it's a balanced package. Everything works together. They're remarkably well engineered in a way you can't say of very many other sport bikes splashed all over magazine covers.
The SV650 was heading up a tight forested mountain road and I remember "this is so EASY to ride." Not the blistering pace of the Gixxer, but just so easy.
Nice!
Haven't completed the video yet but I have to say, this is probably the *smoothest* inline 4 I've heard in person.
3:33 Woah, buddy!
Thanks Gokul!
All Suzuki inline 4s are crazy smooth dude. The co gets criticized by people who either haven't ridden the bikes or lack the skills to push them properly. And they're virtually indestructible. Best deals on the market IMO for sport bikes.
@@englishsteel-nz6imthe only thing to criticize is that they never really update their models. That also keeps them cheap sure, but why buy something new that's already been out like that for 6 years or something. That makes em just a bit boring for me
I’ve been riding for 30 years and currently have an FJR 1300. It’s mind boggling you’re able to ride bikes you’re not familiar with at these limits. Hats off for scraping on multiple bikes! You’re a legend.
Thanks. It's a matter of practice. Through my job I get to ride 50 - 60 different bikes each season. My riding is not that great actually but my capabilities of adapting to a new bike indeed are well above average. That's something all motorcycle journos have in common :) Thanks!
And one more time, the age old question of "which bike should I buy as my starter bike" is and will always remain "Busa, baby". 😋
:D
Best looking dash of any motorcycle.
I agree!
I'm glad bikes like this still exist. They're like the AMG Black Series of sport bikes. Big, fucking fast GT bikes.
This is the best bike review format on youtube. Subbed
Thanks
Omg ..Your sound recording is top notch, and that's what brings out the joy.
Every other video the bike feels different because of the sound, and that's not common for a phone speaker nowadays
Danke für den tollen content den du immer woeder ablieferst.
Die film und tonqualität sieht man bei keinem anderen TH-camr
Amazing ride, congrats. What was that place, it looked so amazing!
I love this video! You definitely captured the essence of a Hayabusa. Great riding.🤘😎
Glad you liked it!
The Hayabusa is definitely one of the bikes ever made
Alrighty
One of the most beautiful bikes ever! 🏍 I like that suzuki keeped the analog screen
Thanks
Have been waiting 2 years for that better than netflix ! ❤️
Glad I could deliver!
What a rocket ship! Nice piloting too, very smooth. Some of those shots through the forest was just a motion blur for me.
😍😍😍 I am in Love with that road... It is such a beautiful road with lots twists and turns... Good choice....
Suzuki Hayabusa is world champion for all out wow factor !
thanks
Great vid Schaaf! I Bought a my Gen 2 Busa 6 years ago and still have it. There's a vid or 2 of me getting my knee down on public roads on the channel. In the right hands (such as yours) they really can handle!
Thanks Bobby
you got balls, man.that bike is a monster.
Thanks
Wow that's my fav bike. Great vid schaaf it was a visual treat. I guess Suzuki is the next Mitsubishi though, I hope they bring some better marketing and sales strategies and revive the crazy 600-750 segments they had.
That would be great!
There are already pictures of the next gen Sv650 aka sv700 on the internet.
@@vvevvevvvv The dream is to get new Euro 5 GSXR 600+750 inline 4s. Very unlikely though :(
Love it! Hope you do more of this type of bike.
Thanks!
Best sound SCHAAF 💯
Thanks Ömer
Great video as always.
Thanks
Cant wait, for your next hayabusa video with full systeam exhaust :).great video
lol
I always leave a like before watching your videos 💪🏻I am sure that’s a great one. Also today I made a video using your settings seems promising before the edit, can’t wait to release it. Thanks agains schaaf 💪🏻🔥
Thank you!!!
Best Busa riding I think I've seen. 👍 👍
Nice video. Enjoyed it 👍🏼
Thanks
This is sick, crazy, madness! 😮 Love it❤
Glad you like it!
Very skilled rider, i have to say. Big balls also. Loved it 😁
thanks Alex
Nice fast safe riding well done
Drive it like you stole it 😍 Very cool video! When can we expect the raw video of your VFR 800? I'm really looking forward to that
Thanks man! Maybe I manage to do it this season but I'm super limited with spare time :(
@@Schaaf I understand. Would be great if you can make it this year
Excellent driver, nice area , great video!
Thank you very much!
LOVE IT , NO KEY FOB FLAPPING AROUND !
lol
I feel this bike like a big boat, even with your amazing hands and skills, it just feel huge on the video, slow turning, fun but like a big big responsability in your hands.
it is very heavy indeed but still handles very nicely
Nice video, amazing ride
Thanks
Feeling so good 👍
Thanks
Amazing sound
Thanks for listening
With lots of love from India 🇮🇳
I really love all your videos & also the beautiful location where you shoot them all.
Thanks Kunal
for a long and heavy bike it goes super well 🤙🏻🤙🏻
indeed
Nice ride!, the Hayabusa takes the turns nicely. I saw some old videos from the channel. And i was thinking, maybe its also fun when you test some older 1990 bikes with this setup. The higher end and the lower ends bikes :) zzr600, gsx600f, Bandit etc.
would love to but I can't access old bikes th-cam.com/video/A_lVU5NGIUY/w-d-xo.html
Fantastic bike! My bike! :) Love it
Thanks Jakub
Sounds surprisingly good for stock exhaust.
It does!
The best motorcycle in the world. Whether traveling or racing, it suits every taste and every ride, depending on the mood of the wearer. Of course only on asphalt 😄🤟🏼
Thanks
you are a good driver 👍
Busas are really popular here in NA, we still get the Zx14r as well which is more powerful and more upright but lacks the updated features like quick shifter and cruise control but it's quite a bit cheaper
Thanks for sharing!
Ronco de excelência🔥
Thanks
your scary man 😂 to handle such bike with such power dude 💙💙💙
Thanks
Dr. Schaaf, the video, weather, bike and everything is so perfect 👏. You were enjoying her, I thought you wanted more Harley rides haha. The video is so damn good it feels like it was sped up. Ride safe bro, regards 🙏
Thanks Ali
Ah man I really need to testride this bike! I had a go on the old Busa two years ago and I LOVED IT.
BUT I felt like it needed to be manhandled through corners a little too much for my taste.
It felt just to dang heavy.
Now I keep seeing those reviews that the new Busa feels much more agile...
And it looks like it too in this video!
Great riding btw!
Vey fast! Very controlled! Cool
You can really see how big of a difference the 6 axis IMU and traction control play. My man hits the gas hard during corners with absolute confidence, the bike didn't seem to be close to a crash for a single second. Can't wait for mine to arrive.
Yea, electronics work really well on this Busa
Ciao Schaaf!
Grazie a presto
Alfiero
The bike feels so sooth that the video feels more smooth because of it lol.
Thanks
Finally!!! Great video Schaaf, and you are not an idiot hahahaha lol
Ah well ;)
I’ve got a 2023 Busa with a full Akrapovic exhaust, DNA filter and custom map. Unless you’ve ridden one of the things it’s hard to know 😅
Thank you for riding like this! I'm so tired of seeing Busa reviews done at 2500revs and riding it like a 200cc scooter! Busa can be ridden hard and it is a bliss! I have the 2023 grey model!😊
Thanks!
Nice ride!
On my Gen3, I adjusted the suspension (front & rear) several clicks harder, to have more control but still be comfy. At the rear, I first overdid it - and yes: it is possible to hobble around on the road. But this contradicts the Busa's smooth character.
I further recommend putting a 55 series tire on the rear to improve handling.
Thanks for sharing
I thought this was a great review/video. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Suzuki bikes are so underrated...
probably
Damn. Im impressed. Thats a heavy very powerful bike. Finominal riding
*phenomenal
:)
Thanks
Great riding, great sound, fantastic road!!!!!
Thanks Gabriel
Great riding as always. Waiting to get home to watch your videos on my TV, a phone screen doesn't do it justice. 😊 BTW This is so helpful! I am looking into test driving a used BMW K1300R, the two bikes are very similar in specs, but the bmw's aesthetic is just perfect for me. I scoured through your archives but couldn't find a video with that bike. Not only you, but nowhere on youtube is there a half-decent pov of that bike. Maybe a future video idea? 😀
I have a k1200s. Perfect for me as I am very tall and heavy. The K has the perfect suspension as it doesn't bottom out on the brakes. Very good traction. I would recommend the S though. I wanted the R at first as well because of the looks, but a naked this fast is dumb, especially when people start trying to fix it with little windscreens. Just get the s.
@@sphericalsphere I love the R because of the very unique looks. The S is beautiful, but if i'm buying a sport tourer like that, i'd opt for the Busa. The B King is ugly as hell in my opinion. I really feel like BMW nailed it with that GS-ey headlight era, but the K1300R to me is the best fit for that style. But at the moment i'm running a customised Kawi ER-6N, so i don't get to sit at the big table and gossip big bikes 😄
Unfortunately I can't access a K1300 :(
@@Schaaf when i buy it i'm heading over to let you show me how it should be ridden if you dont ride one yet
Booossaahhh🔥🔥🔥
Weeee
Super bike!!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼🚀🚀🚀🚀💣💣💣💣💣👊👊👊👊👊🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷!!!!!
Thanks
❤️ I love my Busa ❤️
nice!
Thanks for awesome graphics quality! As a VFR800F owner, I've been ridden Gen2 Busa for once. Soooooo impressed with that monster power and the stability in the corner. I think this might be the difference between Sport Touring and Mega Sport. IF I could choose again, I will take the Mega Sport without doubt.
cool!
Hi! In which part of Austria was the video recorded? It's so beautiful!
Nice sound 👍👏☺️😊
Thanks
@@Schaaf your welcome
Traction control in action 😈
Thanks
sounds fucking brilliant
thanks
Busa 😩👌🏼
ok
Klasse Fahrstil, jemand der sein Handwerk versteht ... 🦅🏍️
Very fast great handling and a very slick gearbox i might trade in my BMW gs .
Thanks
Sweet bike. Got a ninja 2000. Absolute top
nice
Watching the TC light constantly flashing on throttle is entertaining. Which setting did you use? You’re absolutely spot-on with your assessment of Suzuki. Engineering perfection with lack of popularity leading to sublimely underrated bikes.
Says in the description. Thanks!!
@@Schaaf Haha of course it does 🤦🏼♂️ now I’m that guy.
I ride a gen1 Z14 and everything you said about the Busa could fit perfect to the 14. I'd love to see you have a blast out on one, in my opinion, if you like the Busa you'd love the Big Z. Great video.
I have a '22 in that same color. The original 14 and later 14R is faster in a straight line and is a bit more forgiving in the seating position department, but yeah, they are both smooth and agile for being big, heavy bikes.
Great video, and scenic place
Where is this place
Goog ride! ✌️
Thanks
Would love to test ride one of these but there aren't any Suzuki dealers in my area. Beast of a bike
Thanks
Schaf, did you feel tweaking the suspension would sharpen it up much ?
the busa got the schaff treament, thank you
No worries!
C'est la meilleure de toutes ! Hayabusa n'est pas une moto, c'est une légende !
Merci
POWER
Mmoooorrreeeee ppooowwaaahhh
verdammt geiler sound, und dein fahrkönnen zeichnet isch auch aus.
love the analog meter.
verkaufst du bike sticker? hab noch platz auf meinem givi koffer ^^
Danke! Derzeit hab ich leider keine im Angebot. Vielleicht zur Weihnachtszeit wieder :)
Gen3 busa is very agile for big bike once you get the wheels rolling. Moving it around in the garage, is like trying to turn a rhino around in an elevator.
Die Busa ist schon ne geile Karre. 👌🏻
Stimmt!
a wieder Leiwand :-)
danke!!
The Hayabusa and ZZR1400 (ZX-14R) are supremely comfortable and capable sport touring motorcycles that are on the more sport end of the spectrum. To me they are the epitome of a Japanese motorcycle. I’ve wanted one for years.
nice!
Much more leg room on the ZX14 though.
