Most of it was bolt in parts so not bad. Maybe a 5 or so just for the amount of them. Modifying the firewall for the clutch master was trickier due to cramped quarters. Probably an 8 or so just because if you mess up you're hosed. Changing the torque tube bearings was the biggest pain though. Trying to use all thread to pull them through or a hammer. That's the 10
@@IntenseBlue318ok not too bad. Clutch assembly as well. Does hehe automatic bell housing bottom fit? Presumably starter motor won’t meet up with the flywheel?
@@MrToddgibbs I know for sure the bellhousings are different some years, possibly all. I think I swapped it. The lower part/cover is the same I believe though. The starter doesn't engage the flywheel, it engages the pressure plate
Hey bud, where are you out of? I have a rare wide body manual with missing master cylinder and bad link bushing and it’s beyond me i was wondering if we can chat and you can give me some pointers?
I'll answer what I can, but some of it's foggy since I haven't touched the parts in several years. Those guys on rennlist have forgotten more than I know about it.
Awesome job here. Any chance you’d up for a chat on this? I’m looking to do this to my 928, and have a bunch of questions for you. Do you have an Instagram or other platform that we can connect on?
dude u are unreal what a talent man. great job
apart from the firewall and center console it was pretty much all bolt in. it was a lot of work, but really not too bad
Nice work! I’ve been looking to do this with my 928 as well. Hopefully you post a video of how it drives.
Its driving, I've just been busy. Eventually there will be a video.
Very nicely done - how hard, 1-10?

@@IntenseBlue318tempted to pick up a manual box as a future project. What other bits do I need?
@@MrToddgibbs torque tube, rear cross member, clutch master cutout or reprod panel, pedal assembly. Probably some other little bits

Do you know if u can change the bite point of the clutch mine doesn’t engage until the last top inch or so… it’s a new clutch and master
Not that I know of. Your car probably has a single disc though compared to the double disc setup on my car.
