  • Before we start putting some miles on our 928, we had to check to see if the Flex Plate had pressure on it. We have seen multiple videos discussing the importance of releasing the pressure annually to ensure the crank bearings aren't damaged. Our Flex Plate was definitely pressurized. We just don't know for how long. The flywheel doesn't seem to move that much, but I don't have a gauge to check the exact measurements. Just going to drive it and see how it goes.

Theres another bolt like that on the other end of the torque tube that’s accessible through a small hole. It’s recommended to use new bolts each time you do that adjustment.
    Great video 👍

Thank you! Appreciate the info about the other bolt. I'm going to have to pull the trans-axil to address a significant torque converter seal leak. I will tackle it when I do that job. Not looking forward to that though.

@@C3KPaddock Yes that seal leak is very common in the 928. The oil seal is just a couple of dollars but it’s a big job to replace it. The seal is actually in the pump and the head of the torque converter goes into that seal.
      Good luck with that job👍
