    Just went stage 1+ last night, and ya it's definitely worth it, way smoother and you can feel that increase through out

    I have been running the Cobb stage 1, 93 octane high boost map for over five years and absolutely no reliability problems. Bought the car new in Dec. 2015. It has passed emissions testing every year. I do not have the high flow intake, only a K&N filter.

      Is there a 93 octane map included on the access accessport? I bought the preloaded stage 1 kit from subimods. I'll be installing this weekend. I'm excited.

    My 2020 WRX Limited is finally coming in next week and I'm planning on doing the Cobb stage 1 after few 1000 miles break-in with it stock. I may add the intake later, but my main objectives are extending and smoothimg out the power band and eliminating what's left of the rev hang, which Subaru already improved some on 2020 models. I definitely won't go past stage 1+ because the power gains are more than enough for me and, most importantly, it's not worth the strain it puts on the car and the reliability issues it will cause. I want this to be a reliable car for many years.

    • @GSekong

      I have a 2020 also, did it do anything for rev hang? I find it pretty minimal without tune

    • @dlg5485
      @dlg5485 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GSekong I decided to wait until I'm out of warranty before doing ANY mods at all. Subaru is know to not cover warranty items if the car is modded and it's just not worth risking that for me. I can wait.

    Sick WRX. And tbh if you’re winning against an STi then you’re just a better stick driver than the STi guy. Closer gearing ratios mean more shifting for him. For example the STi hits 60 in 3rd and you hit 60 in second. So yeah. There’s that. But in a quarter mile using the same driver I think the STi would take it :P

    • @WheelsAndBusinessVlogs
      @WheelsAndBusinessVlogs  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jesse L I agree, no doubt. We did 60 rolls and with a twin scroll turbo I definitely got the upper hand. The video is on my channel if you want to check it out.

    Love the content man! I have a stage one Pro Tune only mods is a grimmspeed drop in air filter and the post MAF hose that comes with it. I’m a little bit faster and have more power than a stage 1 + with MAP tune which is cool.

  • @SaberisloveSaberislife

  • @TheRockHardMan

    Great build! I love the transparency about everything. I'm thinking about picking up a 19 wrx soon as well. As for your Cobb Big SF stage 1, would you say it's equivalent to, or faster than a stage 1 ots MAP tune? The intake makes some sweet sounds.

      TheRockHardMan Well now map offers stage 1 tune with their intake. IMO map is better I’ve been running they’re intake it’s loud like the Cobb sf. You really can’t go wrong with either

      Baesic Vlogs You’ve had issues on an ots tune or you mean just kinks with the wrx model itself. LSD option would be nice imo, GTI offers autobahn package that includes one. Si’s have them stock. I don’t know about st’s.

    • @WheelsAndBusinessVlogs
      @WheelsAndBusinessVlogs  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      -Slurmdaddy - Just issues with the car itself. If you watch my other video “How much it cost to own a WRX for a year” I show that I blew a turbo, intercooler, and had a spark plug misfire all before I even modified the engine. To be honest, it runs better now that it’s modified.

      @@WheelsAndBusinessVlogs It's funny that you say that because I'm so eager to get one and tune it. Hopefully I'll be getting into one soon and I wanna get a map tune as soon as I hit 1k miles, haha. I think it's pretty "safe" on a stage 1 ots tune but like with your turbo I guess anything can happen. Would you suggest it or wait it out a while before tuning? I'm from LA too

      i recommend to give it like 2k miles, afterwards yea. Void that shit. HOWEVER! If it ever breaks, go back to stock and take it back to the dealer. Make sure to disconnect your battery first. According to others kt erases your ecu data.

      My friend owned a 2018 Camaro RS during this video. When I was stock he would pretty much walk me on 40 rolls. With the intake and tune we were pretty much dead even. It’s not a HUGE difference but it’s definitely noticeable. And the noises make the driving experience that much better. Also, you beat a stick STI from a low roll.
