Good job on the hydraulic issues, those two filters were in need of changing, which usually doesn't get done enough on my tractors. Thanks for sharing the fun with us Ross, I hope you get to feeling better. Have a good evening!
Loos like a good tractor. Father in law ran them and he passed on so we have them now. Never have run one yet though but look forward to the day I get to
Great video Ross, I have always wondered what type of hydraulic filters those tractors had. I have always liked those 7000 series Allis tractors. My neighbor had a 7060 black belly tractor and it never gave one ounce of problems all the years he owned it.
Cool video Ross. Seems you got the main issue fixed, but like you said about that one hose, it's sixty years old. What can we expect. I'm older than that and sure can't do what I used to do. But that's another story. Thank you for sharing.
You’re sounded pretty tough, Ross! I know you have work to do, but you need to get well too! Give yourself a chance to heal up….Get some rest!! Take care!!
Ross, just a tip for you which you no doubt know but just don’t ever think of, put down a small tarp or better yet a old blanket in a light color before and under your work area. This helps when you drop tools, washers , nuts, bolts , and you will also not piss off Greta Thorn bugger. 🍻👍
You sound like you're coming down with pneumonia. Don't work yourself to death! I nearly did back when I was farming and it's more sadness than you ever want to experience.
Time in a bottle. You young whippersnappers have a lot of aches and pains to go yet. That one filter had 2019 on it so it stands to reason the harder-to-replace filters were never done. Drive it until it goes no more then complain about the poor service life.

Good job, Ross. Changing filters is just a confidence inspiring task. Learned not to neglect the oil bath on my 880, it was 1/3 full of mud.
I love those old orange tractors. Glad to see it's getting some love
Good job young man. Hopefully you will be feeling better soon. Enjoyed your video, see you later. Take care.
I love my Cornwell Tools. Never was a Crap-on guy. SEE
That’s the second knot you gave me on my head today ! I’m not helping you anymore !LOL.
🤣🤣🤣
😂
All the heavy breathing makes me feel like I'm getting a crank call from 1975. 😂
🤣🤣🤣

Thanks.

Ross it sounds like sadness has hit you hope it is short lived and you recover quickly
You just explained as to why I absolutely hate those roll up pouches for wrenches, grab it from the wrong end, they all fall out.

Old shower curtains work the best. For me, I usually end up needing said tarp on something else while working on a different project... can't win lol
I liked it 😊
Thanks Dan!
👍👍👍👍👍
Is this tractor used for any farming tasks, or is it retired?
I think he does hay and bushhogging with it.
You know what they say about an expert; An ex is a has been and a spurt is a drip under pressure!
🤣🤣🤣
Man I've got a headache now lol
I wish I could get hydraulic hoses that lasted 50 years.
50 years ago you could. 😊
I had a 7045 with the T handle shifter, total garbage
😁👍👍👍👍
You're dead on with the offset wrenches and hydraulic lines, working on aircraft they are a necessity.
It’s amazing but hydraulic fittings always seem to be just slightly clocked wrong to where you need them.
Your voice is cracking ! Have you broke your ground yet? Just wandering it’s been raining like every other day here! Ridiculous!
I want to but the rain just won’t let me.
You sound like you're coming down with pneumonia. Don't work yourself to death! I nearly did back when I was farming and it's more sadness than you ever want to experience.

Not sure why your camera keeps overheating? Thought you were a cool guy. At least until the animals start making noise. 😮
🤣 just a design flaw I suppose but I’m used to it
