If I ever have trouble making water, I know I can tune into Ross the Oliver Man and just listen for the oil draining. 😂
I haven't heard that making water saying in a very long time. Glad to know I'm not the only one who had heard it before.
Glad your back. I was going to call the Sheriff to do a wellness check. 😂
Hi Ross glad to see your back I was hoping you were able to get out in the fields and that was the reason we haven't seen you in a few days.
Sounds like you’re on the right track. I hope you’re getting well, Ross. I can still hear the cold in your voice. Missed your videos recently. Hopefully you had a chance to get to the field. I live about 110 miles away from you and I was able to help my dad mow hay during the stretch of good weather. He got it baled in time, no thanks to that damned Gehl round baler that breaks more than I do. Also, I hope the storms tomorrow don’t hurt you too bad. We’re at a level 2 risk for severe weather but you guys are much higher. Level 3-4 I believe. Stay safe!
As always, a great video! Someone like me who suffers from low intelligence and is easily entertained really gets a kick out of you videos.
Oh if these old tractors could talk! There would be some interesting stuff to hear!
Don’t forget the fuel line 😂😂
Good to see you back Mr. Ross!
Did I mention I hate hydraulic oil!
What a mess! I hate it when I know there’s an oil leak, but it’s just so hard to nail it down. I like to see how you go about tracking down the culprit. Love the videos. Keep up the good work.
Ross, I would have thought you would have had an opportunity to do some work in the fields and get some planning done. You need the rain but it needs to stop for long enough to get your crops planted. Thanks Michael
Nice video Ross. Sure, do hope you found all of the leaky culprits. Wish you luck, hopefully that's all of them. Buddy's looking good there.
Ross, hope you know not to check for a high pressure oil leak with a bare finger. Also if you put clean cardboard under the tractor it might help you locate the leaks.
I need to do that with my White American 80, quite a few small leaks make for one big mess and that's what I have. Thanks Ross, enjoyed the video, I hope your weekend is going good!
Talk about opening a Pandora's box of leaks!!! Based on my experience, it seems like some tractors are more leak prone than others. At least when you get through the crud, the culprits will be more apparent. Hope your field work can move soon.
Very good video! The oil pan dent is a bad one. He is lucky that didn’t damage the motor. Thanks for the video I appreciate them all.
cool AC video
great video luv to watch you work
It is great you can help your neighbors like that,i hope you get to feeling better
Nice video Ross
Hope the rain stops for a couple weeks. Yeah, hydraulic oil leaks can be a big pain in the ass to find. Skid loaders are probably the worst
Thanks for sharing hope you are doing better soon. See you later.
Use your shop vac to change the fuel line, tape to to the fuel fill spout turn it on and have at it
Sweet bud hope successful
Ross, long before I retired from farming, just maintain an 80 acre farm now, mainly pasture mowing. I learned, when working on my own equipment, price might be an issue but, you're there and many of these "original" and old hoses, replace them period. Odds are always against you when it comes to these lines. I've done the cheap route once and paid the price because I had to go back into where I was earlier and instead of just replacing or fixing just 1 line, I ended up replacing all that was in the cluster mix, they all rubbed against each other and all were on the verge of leaking even though after fixing 1 line, another decided to give away after cleaning that area up. It's called "Murphy's Law" for a reason. If the owner has an issue, just remind him, it will cost him double if you have to go back in there again. Think about that for a moment, it does make dollar's and "cents" if you look at it as you've already been in it once before now, later, having to be in it again... It's an "investment" into the equipment and for the life of me, I don't understand why people don't take better care of their equipment. Wash, clean your machines, maintain daily, take care of them and they will take care of you. Their only as good as their owner(s). Great video as always, cheers :)
Is it just me or do others take the lid off the bucket before trying to drain oil or antifreeze in to a bucket ?
Wow ,you lucked out ,just a hose to replace it looks like,i would replace that old line anc jyst go thru them ,still a pretty tractor you can have for a crop farming backup
Many leaks equals much sadness
Very messy job, but you'll get 'er!
I wonder if the designers of that tractor had a large amount of investment stock in a Hydraulic hose company.
The way things are going , it's best not to take a loan out for a building on your property if you would do,,the banks are in trouble now and they pass laws recenty for bail in's ,,, if they need money to keep their bank sovent ,calling in any outstanding their loans ,,and demand a force sale of the property so to level and balance their books
great job on the hose leaks
Use a vacuum to pull suction on the fuel tank to change ur hose.
You sound better 😊
Good video
Do you still have your Dewalt power wand? Might clean it up real good. 😊
👍👍👍👍👍
Oh i thought that was your tractor ,not a customers ,,I should of known better as its not Oliver green ,, what would a morton building or something simpliar cost ya for a tool shop with concrete floor ? Your still pretty young yet to enjoy and use one ,,but then the fkn property taxes will go up
Good video
