Two things I've wanted to do all my adult life: visit Dublin and see Paul Weller in concert. My birthday's Oct 21st, I was meant to be seeing him in Dublin Oct 20th 2020 but you-know-what happened 😟 I've gotta get on it in 2022 assuming shit stays normal 🙂
You might be a bit disappointed with dear old dirty Dublin ( if you do get there ..visit Kilmainham Gaol and the Museums) stay out of the city centre after dark !.....Paul Weller on the other hand you will definitely enjoy !

I live near Brum now and I regularly stick the bike on the train and ride through the worst bits for my scummy city fix I'm a weirdo 😅 when I do get over I will hire one of the dublinbikes and cover as much of the gaff as I can so I can see the true Dublin not just the tacky Guinness pubs in the middle (I'm on the wagon these days anyway). He's been playing his older music for a while now. It's great as he has such great work over the years. Obviously he is more comfortable with everything now. It would not have worked out to play Jam songs at Style Council gigs nor play that music when he first went solo. But now it all sounds good and he doesn't have to pander to anyone.

Nah, Vox v125 head and 2x12 vented cab, the sound of the Jam from Sound Affects onwards + Ricky. I had the same set up back then, it's that sound.
