Bang on point you are live love and leave a legacy weller has certainly done that and more the mod father you better believe it and he’s a huge small faces fan my mate Michael o sullivan lived with the small faces I lost him 2001 but he admired paul weller how can you not
And the lyrics still resonate after all these years.. 'Long Hot Summers' brought it all back for me and now I just can't stop playing, singing and enjoying those memories of yesteryear. Love The Jam, love The Style Council! Paul Weller is still very easy on the eye too, and still sings like it was 1982! WAY too cool. 🤩😍🤩
Sent a major shiver from head to toe stumbling across this. First Jam gig for me and best soul mate and lifle long Weller devotee, Andy Bullock - Strange Town Tour- at the Victoria Hall Hanley summer '79. We met and welcomed the band 'warming-up-' in the Albion. It was all a bit 'alright', 'alright really like 'In The City' you got a scooter then? 'Nah but finkin about it' southern as they wuz. The gig was full of windmills, split jumps, Foxton's 'Jam Shoes' , Buckler chucking broken sticks' and three men performing like four.. Now a Town Turned Malice, his Funeral Pyre was 3 days after this performance, at Carmountside between Milton and Abbey Hulton Stoke-On-Trent a stone's trow from Bagnall Hospital where my brother was revived in an oxygen tent post birth (talking the 1960's). I lived at a couple of addresses in Northwood and Birches Head - half way between The Vic Hall and Carmountside but have never been to Stone Henge, if Lay lines were credible Weller would have divined Dylan better,
It's an amazing song...a stinging indictment on modern day society. What truly has changed? How about good ole Paul, does he not look like a member of Parliament? ; )
Almost a senior citizen and more energy then most young performers... weller always seems to reignite just when you think he’s winding down...legend

Amazing!!!!
Awesome as always!
Crikey, he's even got Mark Zuckerberg playing guitar for him! @00:45
Just Brilliant! Big smile on face👌🤘🤘🤘👍🎸🎸🎸😊
WOW!! CLASSIC!!
For sure
Great performance, Paul is really talented and sounds awesome live. The crowd is appreciative to be there.
I was there - fantastic gig
Epic gig
And me
He doesn’t relish in nostalgia, but Paul’s clearly buzzing his t*ts off here!! ✌️
Great performance from the mod father
THE MODFATHER MR WELLER !
This is in 2021? The man's voice sounds as strong as ever.
Yeah end of Nov 21
So's the number a of raped kids thanks to him and his type.
Strong as his treason
I was there too!
Great night
Me too, watching the jam, 1981,
The MOD father can still rock,
👊👊👊
Loved The Jam and then he went stupid with Style Counsel. Modfather???? Ray Davies! 🏴
ace
He would never do a Jam reunion. Just for a tiny top draw tour. He'd get embarrassed by the other 2/3 of the original Jam members.

Why oh why did the JAM SPLIT 🎸 😫 😩 😕 THE BEST EVER BAND
Cos Paul wanted to move on...it's been over 40 years. Get over it, you cretin!
That drummer of his now is a shambles.
He ought to get Rick buckler back 🤪
@@timkeen619 I agree!!!
