Grayson Hobby does your arf wizard come programmed. I had a falcon 250 pro but I burnt up all my electronics. I took the receiver out and plugged it into one of my rc planes and it still works. so I was wanting to know if I put that receiver in the wizard if it would still have the three different modes

Also check your props, make sure the are seated correctly and check if there are on the correct motor.
Sweet video Guys! And great customer service too. I received my gold tuned Wizard this week and was flying in no time. No beta flight tuning needed, no soldering just rippin packs and breaking props!

i know its an old video but explaining the modes and how to fly was great i have not alot of drone experience but this was very helpful to find out what i was doing wrong in my first flight and that first mode will help me learn to fly better and self level. i will be book marking your page and following here thanks to this thanks guys

I meant help...sorry..Anyways this and your other videos got me in the air...got to place an order with you guys...went to local hobby shop ordered two Foxeer antennas for my goggles and wizard (Foxeer stubby for the wizard) and they ordered me the wrong antennas that has wire tips in the middle and should of had a hole in the middle...i thought they might know what there doing ...( Because i dont) but no! ...should had known better when i didnt see hardly no quad gear lol...Again these videos are tremendously a huge help...cant thank you enough

Grayson Hobby What im saying is they sold me male Foxeer antennas and they needed to be female for my Eachine wizard 220x and my EV800 goggles

Overdue video, I'm glad to have half the info, I already learn the other half the hard way, no one answers the phone there, online they would answer questions about shipment, but not on parts needed from my crashes

I tried calling twice today and got the answering machine both times. Surprisingly, they returned my call without me leaving so much as a voicemail. I ordered this through amazon and spent too much because I am an idiot. I attempted to cancel my order and will wait. It's unfortunate they don't do pre-orders anymore. I guess I'll just wait until an order comes and and fight everyone for it hunger games style. "May the odds be forever in your favor." Great vid and great customer service guys.

It was $209 for the just the drone. its like 180 at grayson and it comes with more stuff. (spare blades and proper configuration). Amazon did allow me to cancel my order since it wasn't suppose to ship for another 2 weeks.
Great instructions on using modes for flips. I'm still partially coming from those preprogrammed receivers so still a newbie. You should probably have a green version that comes with extra props! Cheers!
First thanks for making the videos but definitely the wizard x220 . I have a question about the 3s is it ok to run 1300 70c and how long is flight time because I'm a beginner
I been watching your videos for a little while now and i like you guys. After seeing how you guys do buisness and set up your quads before you ship them out makes me really want to buy from your store. My ol lady is getting me the walkera rodeo 110 bnf version. And if your store has it im going to have to tell her about this hobby shop. wish you were close to were i live.
Rodeo 110 costs the same as Wizard X220 and doesnt seem anywhere as fast. But maybe im wrong.

Great tutorial. Very helpful to a beginner.
1. You are mounting the two receiving antennae vertically on the rear posts. If they are mounted horizontally along the rear arms, as mentioned, would it make a difference in performance? Also, if you ran one vertically along the post and one horizontally along the arm they would be aimed in two directions. Would that increase or decrease performance?
2. do you sell the silver and black nuts for the propeller mounts?
3. what equipment would you recommend to install osd with battery, altitude and other telemetry?

these guys are awesome. use the sales inquiry on their website. under the "contact us" box. leave a short email and be patient. they answered me pretty quick and told me when to order my wizard. I got gold and I couldn't be happier. it took a few days for Will to set it up and get it to me but it was awesome out of the box.

Hey guys!
When I first got my drone, I plugged in the battery while the VTX antenna was not connected. When I tried to sync my Kylin Vision Goggles to the drone, I ran the auto scan and only showed a black screen. I thought I must have burned out the 200mw VTX. I then ordered a 600mw transmitter as an upgrade since I fly alone and when I went to sync up the goggles, it showed the black screen again. I made sure I had everything connected properly and couldn't find out which part wasn't working. I only have one drone so I can't test the individual parts on a different drone.
I can only assume there is a problem with the stock camera or the goggles. The wires are fine, the VTX is new, the antenna was on, the connectors were pushed in, my goggles antenna was on, I searched all the channels, and the lens protector was off. Do you see anything I may have missed?

hey man wondefull job and very nice and detailed video the best video on youtube for eahine x220 but my problem is leveling whenever i launch my quad it is moving towards right hand side or towards winds dramatically but your 1 in this video is looking pretty stable so what is the secret are controlling it or it is just automatically holds it position ?need ur help
Sorry to hear however, what sets us apart from others is we configure / test the Grayson WIzards so they do not behave like what you are describing.

Are the escs racerstar 20A v1 or v2? Do you know if the escs can be prepared for dshot by removing the caps?
I bought a wizard from bang good but have swapped to the replacement esc's ( from y'all ) and put the new emax rs2205s motors on it. quad is making a chirp kind of sound like a voltage spike...can I bring to your shop and have u take a look? thanks

I will be a beginner as far as FPV race drones. I currently have one camera bird and one fpv drone both toy grade. I will be purchasing this race drone in another month or so. I do not know how to use betaflight or cleanflight. Until I am up to speed as far as that goes do you all allow a person to ship their drone to you and tell you all what they want and you all set it up for them of course at a charge?
Can you recommend a replacement flight controller or a compatable one please

when i try to install my props the tool that came with doesn't actually fit the nut... i might have to sand the spanner a bit.
When using batteries of 4s I have to solder VTX in 12v, to return to one of 3s I have this to reverse this?
Don't know if you guys will see this, but, do you sell the x220 in a bind and fly, with your settings programmed? I already have the FlySky FS-i6 transmitter, and really don't need another one, but would really like to purchase this drone with your set-up, simply because I'm pretty new to the racing drone world. I have had a couple of cheap drones, and currently fly fixed wing, so I do know the basics, but need all the help I can get. Thanks in advance.
Hi The radio is where the magic is done - so without your radio, it cannot be done. The Wizard is over 3 years old. Check out the ET115 v2 for a modern day Quad -

The vtx included in my eachine 220 wizard was an XF5801 with a six pin connector and the antenna broke off on the first day of flying. I ordered a vtx TS5823L for my wizard however it is not plug and play. I didn't realize until after I ordered that the new vtx requires a five pin connector and came with it's own connector for me to solder the wire leads onto my flight controller. Meanwhile, I have a pair of goggles I haven't even been able to use. What do I have to do to get a vtx on this drone? Do they make a plug and play connector that uses a six pin connector or is everything I order going to require me to solder on a five pin connection?

guys, if I set the lipo alarm to 3.5V, it flies for less than two minutes and start beeping either with fully charged original or spare 3s battery. what's wrong here? thanks a lot.

Thanks for all you guys do to help us...Please DO encourage people to A) connect to computers, B) solder...Because those 2 things will end up repairing crashed quads, am I correct? Not alone the idea of empowering yourself with a new trade. Soldering tip MUST be fine point, you often have to buy one separately - If someone new goes and buys their first soldering iron, it's likely to come with a fat tip unsuitable for microelectronic boards such as these.

Ive watched every single wizard setup video but I've not found a single person saying what size hexed screwdriver they use to unscrew the topplate, literally every screwdriver I have is either too big or too small, so I have to buy the correct size, but since it doesn't say anywhere what the size of the screws is I dont know what to get, could anyone help me out with that?
Hey, I would suggest getting a complete set of HexTool if you plan on advancing in the hobby. We sell them any they are very inexpensive and this is the EXACT set we use.. graysonhobby.com/machined-hex-driver-set-4-metric.html - The size is 2.0mm

your just defeating the object of the nylock nuts? they are supposed to be tight that's why the nylock nuts, after using them nuts after a while they need changing so there tight again

Great question, this is asked alot, but These are all mode 2, throttle on the left.
