- The restoration of a heavily playworn Corgi Bentley. This was a challenging one to do with that complicated front suspension.
In the comments Martin Dare advised using Vaseline or petroleum jelly to hold the suspension in position. A very good tip for anyone.
Great restoration Andy. The colour does suit it really well and those decals you made for the rear lights were superb! 👍👍
Thank you Richard. I’m doing some wheel decals now also. For future use 👍
Looks amazing Andy well done 👍.
Thank you Adrian 👍

Fantastic restoration andy I love the new colour mate well done 👍
Cheers Luke 👍
Very nice work! Greetings from Switzerland. 🍁☕👍
Thank you very much. A tricky one to do but worth while👍 Two of my best experiences are a train through Switzerland in the 80s and a flight over the Alps in 2018👍
This was indeed difficult Andy but you've nailed it.Never seen this kind of suspension on a corgi toys yet. Excellent work and finish
Thank you. I’m over the trauma now but I don’t think I will do another one 😂

Thank you very much 👍
nice job Andy
Thank you John👍
Came up a treat😊😊😊😊
Thank you Mick 👍
You had fun with that one, andy nice work around on the back lights ,and a great colour, quick tip when assembling the front end on this type ,use a drop of petroleum jelly to hold it together, and it will also act as a lubricant for the steering.
That’s a good tip. Thank you. 👍
Another nice job Andy, them bits you drop, where do they go? I have had the mrs on the floor fealing around, is ther some kind of Bermuda Triangle for car parts. 👍😂
You find them when you no longer need them I believe. I was on my hands and knees with a torch for 10 minutes. I edited out what I said and even though I had a lot of out takes for this video I had to leave them out
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Think I’ve got one of these I’m going to banger build soon
Good luck with that Kev 👍
@@andysgaragediecastrestorations thanks Andy
Andy, it's a very nice job you did on the Bentley! Did you put an acrylic clear coat on the bronze metallic? ❤
I did put a clear coat on. It didn’t take as well as the BMW I did but I think this finish does suit the car. I use auto extreme clear coat (here) and sometimes Rustoleum clear varnish. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Thats a cracking resto,Andy. Not sure I like the tyre colour though.
They are the original colour tyres for the car. I agree they are more suited to a different colour. Black white walls may have been ok ? Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
@@andysgaragediecastrestorations yes, whitewalls would be fine, but who makes them?
I did whitewalls on one of my cars using a permanent white marker pen and a coin to draw around. 👍
🤗❤️👍💯
Thank you 👍
@@andysgaragediecastrestorations Welcome Andy 🤗👍
