i have a general basis on controllers, based on my personal preference of likes and dislikes on a controller. been using controller for a while 10 yrs or so, mostly stuck w xbox controllers because its what i know, i didn't venture into playstation controllers.
if imma review more controllers in the future this channel will be focused on guides and gaming vids till i get monetize then might make a separate channel for reviewing controllers ill see how the future goes.
its a good controller imo, and the software makes it even better imo for the money its great investment but i personally dislike the thumbsticks it comes with and the back bottuns every else is great
When you swapped the sticks to XSX sricks, they did fit correctly? Did you have to recalibrate the sticks? I've seen a few posts saying that XSX sticks don't work, but it seems that it's not that they don't fit, but they are wider so the stick can't travel as far. I just want to make sure you didn't have to modify the sticks themselves for them to work though. This is the exact type of video I needed to see. Thanks!
its the thumbstick cover not the actual joysticks stick i knew they would fit cause they were so close together in looks the only difference was the top of the concave area(XSX sticks) was a bit thicker
Do you mind recording a video where you compare the deadzones of the original xbox controller and the g7 on fortnite. Keep both at deadzone of 5 and make extremely slight analog movements. If you could i’d really appreciate it thank you so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
took two keyboard switches and wired them instead of the tiny tactile buttons, you can still remap the keyboard switches as they are just soldered and extended from the buttons on the circuit board i did a video on it
This thing paired with the galaxy ps5 kontrol freeks aint no joke. My aim on cod is way better than with my powera. But maybe the kontrol freeks are doing most of the work? I really liked swapping to raw input mode in the app and turning my sensity down 1
high deadzone is not because of the magnet of hall effects joystick. its because of their internal deadzone settings from the mainboard. I know because I have ps4 controller with hall effects swapped into it and I turned off the deadzone completely that makes it so sensitive to even a slightest move.
true but its still deadzone that can be fix with software but the joystick itself still have a built in deadzone as you said, but playstation and xbox based joysticks are different in how they handle the information register from the stick, ps controller have a 10 max dead zone xbox goes up to 26 and this hall effect might go up to 15, i personally play on 0 for cod everything else is a 4-5
Do you think this controller will hold up being used in games that require combos bc I have the problem with the series x controller that I’ll get fanton movements and it throws off my anamations do you think it will do that
short answer no i already had the left bumper plastic piece tab break(been using it for a while now) but nothing a bit of super glue doesnt fix, if it was made out of metal i would ha did better.
@@ISOUPKOBE if its combination attacks like lets say rb plus A does an action if u try to crounch and jump at the same time they cancel like any other controller. i ws answering they first part of ur multiquestion, is there any specific game if its on game pass i can get it cause i have a trial rn if i have to buy it i cant cause im not monetized
Is there anyway you can fix the dead zone it comes with? I know there’s a Gamesir App on the Xbox that allows you to customize the sticks, as well as the triggers, and also update the firmware. I know there’s also a way to troubleshoot the controllers as well from the manual it comes with. Is there anyway such as hose where you can possibly fix the bad dead only comes with?
its comes with a 5-10 deadzone out the box can be change with the software(Gamesir Nexus), you can adjust it to 0 or whatever u want but there is still a deadzone that is made on the stick itself that you cannot change but it feels pretty responsive at 0 deadzone with no drift..
yeah the hype might die off but they not being able to get drift is a big selling point, at most that will break them is ware of the actual stick like the plastic piece that moves so u get sloppy sticks without resistance like a fresh stick. nothing really last forever as it oxide, decay and wear and tear. but it is a solution to stick drift and we need to see more of it.
I find it difficult to define these analogues as hype since after buying these analogues for my Switch and installing them myself I never had drift on the analogues again.
bro i have this controller, its awesome however the thumbsticks feels empty idk im used now, but its not the same as regular sticks like ds4 or dualsense, wish they release one with the same hall effect but that feels the same as regular..
It seems we are not understanding each other friend hehe. What I would like is to get a controller that feels the same as a regular one, be it DS4 or Dualsense but with hall effect@@Krome0somes
lol i just like those stick them being black in color has nothing to do with it its the color i had on hand, plus white shows dirt (finger cheese) more
its the sticks caps i got from the xbox series x controller i like the concave feel of the caps. as the stock grey/gray sticks feels odd to me i cant rest my thumb in the middle.
Your the guy that should be reviewing controllers. Your smart and seem to have a deep sense of feel and reaction time. we need more videos from you

Could you make a vid when you check sticks Axis in gamepad tester on PC?
Great points, I like the way you assessed the controller, things I was looming for, I was just about to buy one as well. Thank you so much.
No problem 👍
mines been acting weird lately where it randomly disconnects ill try changing the cable to see if that was the problem
Also I wanted to ask what games do u play. I play Fortnite competitive and the point regarding the deadzone is what changed my mind on buying it.
I mostly play fps games and I sometimes venture in other games, like mmorpg like warframe

What have you done with back buttons ?

imo kontrol freaks are a gimmick i have good stick sen and kontrol freeks maake it weird to panic react

greeting from Brasil homie, you make me confortable to buy this, if you can, make a tutorial to show how you do those mods in your controller!
oh, you already do the tutorial, mb bro

im a xbox guy grow up never experience playstation controllers as now i play on pc with xbox controllers, so i have no comment on that
well i guess xbox potentiometer felt the same as ds4, i mean like that@@Krome0somes
Oh, I mean it's both resistors being used hall effect feels different too

Oh mb, I don't know any controllers along that line
If i have a fusion pro 2 can i change the sticks of the gamesir ??? To put ones more large
not sure i only knew the xbox series sticks fit cause of the shape
Does the faceplate just pop off like that ? No screws ?
it uses magnets so its easy to put on and take off
How do you adjust the deadzone?
the gamesir Nexus app on xbox and pc
Weird that your back buttons were so stiff, mine aren't stiff at all. Maybe something was wrong with the latching mechanism on your controller.
i had 2 i just dont like how it felt y i add keyboard switches to mine
why does it have black sticks
racist
lol i just like those stick them being black in color has nothing to do with it its the color i had on hand, plus white shows dirt (finger cheese) more
