One of the few bands that I loved their progression from beginning to present. Started with Screaming for Vengence for me when it came out as Ozzy and Maiden was the hardest I listened to early in High School. Thankfully a roommate clued me into Metallica during the Ride The Lightning era. Then Exodus, me being first to get Megadeth my way, Overkill, Anthrax, etc
Circled back to others I missed including DeathAngel, Heathen, Watchtower and so many more.

    • @billblackstarr5935

@@christebo7305 Similar for me. I got turned on to Judas Priest with Screaming For Vengeance, but quickly devoured everything previous, but didn't get to see them live until Turbo. I also got turned onto Metallica right as Ride the Lightning came out from a friend of a friend from the Bay Area, right at the peak of that thrash scene, and got into Slayer, Exodus, Possessed, Exciter, etc. Still a massive Priest fan!

As several people have mentioned "Victim of Changes". which I feel is their masterpiece which is on the album "Sad Wings of Destimy". I would highly recommend you listen to some of the early Judas Priest songs to get a better understanding of their original style. They have changed through the years. I personally like the old Judas Priest from 1976 to 1981. In 1982 "Screaming for Vengeance was a turn for me to a commercialized album some. But still good. Thanks for your channel. This was literally the first thing Priest fans would hear from him and can you imagine a stronger way of introducing yourself to a fandom? You could literally do a 2 week reaction series and only scratch the surface with them. Please do yourself a favor and explore some of their earliest songs. Cheater, Run of the Mill, Epitaph, Green Manalishi, Sinner, but definitely The Sentinal!
