I can tell you two were confused by the ending of the fight, so let me try and explain what happened:
Essentially, using his control over molecules, Wally phased right through Sonic's wish beam, which he can do and called upon his family to keep him...'grounded' through time, as mentioned in his analysis. Using the Speed Force, Wally then travelled forwards in time right as Sonic's Ultra form ran out. With a combination of the Infinite Mass Punch and the Speed Force, Wally overclocked and overpowered the Chaos Force, which resulted in Sonic reliving _every single second in his life at once_ . The punch ended up erasing Sonic, forever.
It is confusing, but I hope that helps.
I don’t know about forever, since Sonic has survived that stuff before. But Wally killed him before he can do that so Wally wins.
Tbh IMO realistically as long as sonic realized that flash was going forward in time to stop him, he could’ve followed him forward in time to stop that from happening then it would’ve been an infinite battle

For anyone who is still confused how flash won, wizz explained it briefly, but wally continually drained Sonics speed when he was in his super form and his ultra form. And since sonic in those forms has endless speed regeneration, Wally basically had infinite speed, and he phased through Sonics wish for him not to exist. Hope this helps 😋

By all means. I don’t think Sonic could ever beat someone as outrageously broken as a DC character. But the way they laid it out here, Sonic shoulda won. He phased through wish energy? It’s a WISH. A wish should null his abilitity to phase through it. lol

@@Axxidous plus pulling from infinite energy isn't the same thing as possessing infinite energy. I always thought that was really strange, Wally should be at an extreme disadvantage there. If Sonic is allowed to reach his super form then the fight should just be over immediately because at that point there's nothing you can do. At that point he's canonically and invulnerable and can literally wish you away, multiple times if needed.
@@Axxidous Didn't you hear their feats, what flash can pull off has granted him the ability to even dodge fate itself, something out of peoples control, something that is destined to happen, as in, even a wish could not do anything to him at that point. if you don't even exist for the wish to effect you, if you are outside the realm and dimension of something, how would it ever do anything to you ? Plus the Speed Force itself is a way stronger force then anything in comparison, once Flash tapped into it, it was over, nothing that Sonic has could control or disrupt it or stop it, all flash had to do was wait for Sonic to run out by seeing into the future and infinity punch sonic out of existence with the emerald. Sonic could never see that coming no matter what.

At the end of the battle, wally broke / overpowered sonic's chaos control, then he jumps *FORWARD* in Time until Sonic's form, ultra sonic depleted / runs out, and then well he infinite mass punch sonic into non-existanceness. Done 😇

To answer your question. They establish that Archie Sonic and Video Game Sonic are not the same. They both may be Speedy, Blue Hedgehogs but they are not the same Sonic. Also in Mario vs Sonic (Rematch) they establish in the beginning of that episode they would only analyze the games as their primary source and any close tied in media

@@thenoirknight5729 its the fact that the Speed Force is above the Bleed in DC cosmology, and the The Bleed is a 5D dimension. Archie Sonic rebooted the entire Multiverse with Chaos Control in the Megaman crossover, and destroyed the Chaos Force along with it. The Chaos Force is only 5D, so Archie Sonic wouldn't be able to affect the Speed Force.

@@pepeknight I think that's a little bit debatable considering that the chaos force is based off a real life concept in mythology called chaos which is literally the stuff that made up everything and that God's used to shape the universe so it should exist on every dimensional plane in theory, however I will concede that to really know that they were going for that we would have to ask a writer which I would have loved for them to do but sadly I don't believe they did, at least as far as I know.

Dr. Manhattan tried to “wish” Wally away in the comics and Wally still survived. Not to mention Sonic's wishes use an energy beam that must make contact to work, meaning Wally could phase through it due to having done similar things against cosmic entities.

The only logical means by which Sonic can move in stopped time is if time wasn't actually stopped, but rather slowed to a point that it appears stopped, and any movement relative to the user is essentially meaningless. So it's not "impossible", as Wiz put it, but would require him to be insanely fast, which is already true.
